This is not a campground but has full hookup sites for people coming for service, trades and purchases. We traded our Country Coach for a Tiffin Allegro Bus. We stayed in their campground while our coach was getting additional items put on. So if you need good honest service for your coach, this is a good place. - Russell and Stephen

The park has a beautiful country setting next to a creek. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The sites are pretty level. If you go absolutely follow the owners suggested route. You will still encounter many hills but not windy roads. Bathrooms had many dead bugs. - Esse
May 2017 - $20.00
This campground has a nice location along the creek, with well spaced sites, good hookups and clean bathrooms. Convenient location to Marsh Creek SP for fishing, hiking and running. Property has fishing available in the creek and a separate pond. They have a pool, but was not open when we stayed. Good mix of seasonal campers and shorter term. All sites were well maintained. - Breezy-N-Wheezy
May 2017 - $45.00
Do not trust your GPS, take a look at the website for directions, before driving to the park. There is a very nice creek running along side of the campground. About three TV Stations are available "over the air", if you aim the antennae the correct angle. Sewer connection is a little different. The sewer pipe is horizontal at site 45 with a 90 elbow. The bathrooms are individual bathroom/showers. Good camping ambiance. The WiFi is free. There are two locations in the park. WiFi is good enough. The GPS issue might be that the internet has the town as Glenmoore but the receipt shows the town as Lyndell - Joe O

A loading dock parking area with power, water and dump station. First choice for seeing the city. All asphalt, so no dust and dirt. - AvalonDF41
Jul 2017 - $56.00
First, have your expectations set appropriately before you arrive: this is a parking lot in an industrial area of the city. The purpose of staying here is to be close to the attractions in downtown Philly. It fulfills that purpose just fine. Security is very good. They do have wi-fi but it only works closer to the office (towards the front where you come in) and we were parked at the far end. The guy who runs the place is super friendly as are the shuttle drivers. One thing to be aware of: the hookups will all be at the very rear of your trailer, so plan your hoses and cords accordingly. We stayed 2 nights in site #25-26 with E/W. We would stay here again if we were wanting to see downtown Philly. - texasAUtiger
Jul 2017 - $40.00
It is a urban parking lot so expect no trees and some noise. the shuttle service into Philly and electricity is what attracted here. The power went out on day one, we were told that the breakers are inside the building (owned by the department of homeland security) and they were having trouble contacting some one to come out and turn it back on. After running the generator for 5 hours, still no word on when the power would be turned on, we scrubbed our trip and headed home. - GraySeal

Oct 2017 - $40.00
Rate of $40.00 per night for full hookups, no discounts offered. Camping/parking here is akin to parking in a Walmart parking lot with hookups. Office hours are limited. Staff is friendly and willing to accommodate. As previously posted, all roads and sites are paved and level. Parking is parallel to the road and can offer a challenge to get into depending on the site and other units. Ambiance does not lend itself to outdoor activities such as sitting outside under the awning or BBQ'ing, although some did, zero privacy. All utilities worked as intended except the water was extremely murky, the color of weak ice tea. Maintenance had to come and purge the line. Every morning I had to run the water several minutes to get clear water. Although a convenient location, I would seriously explore other options before returning here. - ECM1
Sep 2017 - $40.00
As the names says, a mobile home park with some sites for RVs. Sites are arranged so you must parallel park the RV. Our site was next to Koffel Road and had constant loud traffic noise. Had to sleep with ear plugs. The site was paved and level. They have a small laundry with 5 washing machines that take quarters only, $ 1.25 per load and 2 dryers. No change machine, you must go to the office for change. Really strange and old electric connection . No cable or other amenities, such as table, pool, playground, dog park, etc. The park is set up for permanent residents not travelers. Wi-Fi is advertised, but we could not get connected. We could not find any other good choice for visiting the city, but we would try somewhere else next time. - starwind
Dec 2016 - $40.00
Easy in and out for 32 foot motorhome. Utilities easy to access. No cable TV. A bit of road noise if you are parked too close to the road which runs all night. Would avail ourselves of this park again. - Forest Woods

Except for the fact that all of the sites are up a steep hill, the place was very nice. They had a nice dog run and laundry facilities were clean and functional. Staff was especially nice and helpful. - Scldg
Apr 2017 - $45.00
When arriving at night there should be better lighting, signs for numbered areas and numbers on the electric post, not on arbitrary trees. We had to get out of the car (rainy night) and shine a flashlight on many sites to find ours. Roads are in poor shape, rutted and narrow. Sites not level and are hard pack which is messy and gritty when wet. There were many other available sites but we were given a deeply forested back-in site swarming with TICKS! My husband took a shower which was never more than barely warm and the showers are not connected to the bathroom. It appears to have nice facilities and great for kids but I would never stay here again for the amount we paid including our KOA membership which I am beginning to question. - Dc22

The woodsy environment in this park makes it a pleasant place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. A very nice place for an extended stay or overnight. - Roger H.
Jul 2016 - $14.00
The rate I noted is based on monthly. This is my second summer at Oak Grove; I call it "my little hamlet". It is a mobile home community with a large area for RVs in the front. Most of the RV spots are full timers or seasonal but if you are lucky you might just get a spot for the season or however long you choose to stay. It is nestled in an old oak grove--thus the name-- with pasture land on two sides of it. The park itself is well maintained--extremely well maintained. Several maintenance crew members are working five days a week supervised by the park owner. It is close to shopping and more shopping and dining and the post office or anything else you might want. Super clean restrooms and showers and the same for the laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers and bargain prices. There is a sparking clean swimming pool. My only complaint and it of course does not reflect on the park or its management, are the bugs--I hate bugs. But what can you expect in a humid grove of trees? They happen to be in abundance in my spot--other residents tell me they have no problems. The cool of the evening is the best time to sit outside but it is mosquito time so I do not spend much time doing that. But it does have great streets for bicycle riding so bring your bike. And of course, with the bugs come birds--song birds in abundance in early summer. If one is parked by the road the street traffic could be a problem but my spot is three rows in and it is generally not an issue. Site is reasonably level but I had to level a little on one side--utilities easy to access and cable is available. You will need cable for internet as they no longer offer wifi. Of course Verizon wifi works well here. People come back here season after season. It is a lovely, lovely park. Make your reservation early. - nanzhere
Apr 2015 - $38.00
This is the second time we stayed here. The sites are back in but easy to negotiate. We used our antenna to get all the major TV channels. They do not have cable service. WiFi is available near the office and worked well. The drive to many of the local attractions is about 40 to 50 minutes. Some nice local mom & pop restaurants and pizza shops. Try Vinny's just down the road 5 minutes. - RVBill1063

Sep 2017 - $49.00
This is a very nice campground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon booking I was told that I should make sure that I had at least 50 feet of fresh water hose because the hook up was a good distance from the campsite where we were booked. Upon arrival at the campground we checked and was then escorted to our campsite. It was after sunset so that was greatly appreciated. I don't think I would have found my campsite without the help. The staff also brought up a 50 foot fresh water hose and it's a good thing too as my two 25 foot hoses together would have been three feet short. the campsite itself was pretty deep and very wide. One of the nice things about their website is if you click on the campsite it will show you the actual campsite, usually several pictures. My campsite was all gravel, the size of the gravel was on the smaller size. The campsite was no very level from side to side, it was a challenge leveling. There were many seasonals there, but they were well maintained. The store was not well stocked but that might be because it was approaching the end of the season. The campground was very wooded so the campground name fits. Water pressure seemed a bit low. Electricity worked fine, no apparent line sags. The last thing is the interior roads were very tight, trees close to the road edge making traversing them a little difficult. There were also several rocks near the edge of the roadways. - Tim W
May 2017 - $24.00
The electric and sewer hook ups were centrally located. the water was located between sites, so one person used about 10' of hose while the other needed at least 45'. The sites were level. the water pressure was very low (28#'s). This is an older park with a lot of overhanging branches and very tight turns for larger rigs. - Al and Anne-Marie
Aug 2015 - $48.00
This is my second weekend stay here and I will be back. I took advantage of the new "virtual full hook-up" and it worked well. I was able to use a site that did not have sewer, which expanded my possibilities. They do not have a lot of sites with sewer hook-ups, I imagine because the place is built on rock. They come around daily to take gray water and on Sunday to empty both gray and black tanks. This went off without a hitch.
The campground is in the woods. The sites were decent size and gravel. Hook-ups were well-placed. There is no WiFi, but I had no trouble using 3G, and in fact is was as quick as the WiFi in my house for my usual Internet surfing. The site and campground in general were quite clean. It is fairly quiet and relaxing.
The only con was the shower, which is very low flow and makes showering quite lengthy and unenjoyable. Attention campgrounds! It takes a certain amount of water to rinse. You can low flow it or you can low pressure it, you can have faucets that constantly need to be turned back on throughout the shower, but it's still going to take the same amount of water to rinse my hair!!!
I will be returning here. - Driver25

Apr 2018 - $64.00
After reading many positive reviews about this campground we decided to make it our season opener. We were very disappointed. Our site was extremely narrow. Our picnic table was literally right next to the trailer next to us and about 10ft from their sewer drain. Also, much of the area was plain dirt and under construction. The staff was very friendly but the camp store was almost non existent. I hate to be negative, but we were a little shocked at how narrow the site was. We will not be returning. - robthefive0
Oct 2017 - $55.00
There aren't too many options to visit Philadelphia. This seemed like the best option. The new owners are investing in this older campground and have already installed about 10 new gravel sites and we observed another 10 or so under construction. Would recommend you request one of these sites. While there is no shade, they are plenty wide, you'll get satellite reception and there's even extra area to park your tow car adjacent to your RV. The older sites are very tight and tree covered. We stayed one night in site 4 and then moved to 102 which we loved. By next Spring I would imagine the new sites and the typical KOA amenities will all be in place and we'd stay here again. Cable was adequate (although not yet installed in the new sites), Wifi was good and AT&T service was excellent. - McGarrert50
Oct 2017 - $54.00
We used this park for a one night stopover so we did not see much. The site we had was at the front of the park and was very tight. The hookups were all okay and in the right place. Site was level and gravel. The worst were the roads getting in and out, very tight turns and lots of parked trucks and cars. Might stay again after the improvements are completed just to see if they get better. - John Borajkiewicz

Apr 2018 - $43.00
Off-season stay, so no attendant at checkin booth. Reservations made online. Detached toad so we could drive through park to find our site before moving our coach. Roads are tight coming in to park, but manageable. Site was smaller than expected, but fairly easy to level. 50 amp and sewer worked fine, water pressure a little low. Ranger arrived shortly after we got in, very courteous, explained a few rules and was gone. Loop C was very quiet, but that probably changes when full season hits. Large trees in this loop make site selection critical if you want satellite reception. Ours (#1) was fine. Did not utilize other park amenities this trip. Overall, French Creek met our needs for the visit we were on. - Movgfwd
Jul 2017 - $23.00
The only full hook up sites are in Loop C. This is the only loop that allows pets. Only a few our 43 footer could fit on, and barely at that. Trees need to be trimmed on roads. Nice pool, clean lake some activities. - cincychic
Jun 2016 - $43.00
Stayed in C loop. Large roomy site, shaded but still got satellite signal. Camp hosts were very friendly, nice quiet place. Road into the park is a little tight, but not that bad. Would definitely camp here again! - bgg

Oct 2016 - $38.00
The road leading to the campground is narrow, but we were able to drive our 32' motorcoach to the campground with little problem. The campground is aptly named. Sites are wide with a gravel base and lots of boulders and trees. Sewer is not available for non-seasonal stays, but there are dump stations available and there is also a honey dipper service available for a fee. The campground offers different activities on the weekends and made announcements over a loud speaker about them occasionally, including when the quiet hours started at 11:00pm. It was noisy with children playing in the area we camped in (site 15).
One feature this campground offers is a deli that is open on Fridays from 4:00-9:00pm that offers dinner (this weekend was meatloaf - ask when making a reservation). This could be helpful when arriving in the early evening for a possible meal solution.
The owners are very helpful even with repairs, which we found out when one of our sliders stopped functioning. We appreciated Bill taking a look at it for us and helping us get it back in. - JC06
Jun 2012 - $35.00
This is the first time staying at this campground and we were pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away on some back wooded roads and the campground is spread out on two sides of the road. We stayed in a section away from the main campground where the pool and activities were going on, across the road, but we liked it. Very spacious, wooded pull through site. It has a lake for fishing and lots of activities for kids and grown-ups were posted. We walked around to see what the other sites looked like: 90% are permanents, but they have 2 small sections dedicated pretty much to weekend campers. And both sections were shady and set up nicely. We went to Rice's Flea Market on Saturday, which is about a half hour away. The only reason I'm giving a 9: the two wooded sections for weekend campers, do not have any bathhouses. You would need to walk a pretty far distance to use the bathhouses. We were only here for 3 days, so it was ok that they don't have sewer hook-ups at any sites at this campground and we could dump on our way out. We will definitely be coming back here at least one or two more times this season. We just loved that it was tucked away from it all. - pokey
Sep 2009 - $40.00
We stayed here about mid-Sept, and well, didn't get to try the pool (which was closed) but looked nice. The staff were helpful, but the roads and sites were small and rough. It was hard to maneuver our Fifth Wheel into the campground and our lot which is narrow. It's a pretty campground but a rocky mountain. We probably would visit again if in the area. - camp1984
