Sep 2007 - $24.00
Don't let the so-so website fool you, this park is a real gem. Located next to an Army Corps. river/dam recreation area, it used to be owned by the county, but a really nice family took it over two years ago, and they're doing a stellar job keeping it lovely, clean and green. Campsites are HUGE, and there's lots of room to roam. They offer lots of fun activities, and it's a good central point to explore Amish country PA. There are 12 seasonal campers but their sites are super clean and nice. This is the best place to stay in this part of PA. We were nicely surprised. Patronize it if you're in the area, you'll enjoy it. - LiveWorkDream
Aug 2012 - $35.00
This campground was OK overall. Beautiful location and scenery. Clean Friendly staff. Decent game room. Mostly seasonal and pipeline workers staying there (very few weekend campers). Paddle boat and row boat were out of service. No activities planned the weekend we were there. Early morning heavy equipment noise from nearby strip mine. Lake "beach" was overgrown and not enticing (they are adding a pool this year, though) - Jmark7
Aug 2016 - $16.00
Campground is mostly populated by annual visitors. However the grounds are very well maintained. Mostly grass sites with water and electric. We stayed for two days at mid week. It was very quiet with weekenders starting to arrive on Thursday. Verizon cell signal was strong. There are some shade trees but was still able to get a satellite shot. We did not use the showers, however they appeared very clean. The dump station is easy to navigate.
We would definitely stay here again. - rjohnso3a
Sep 2015 - $32.00
Nice park for an overnight stay but I would not like it for an extended stay. We were told that they did not have full hook ups - water and electric only. I did not like the lay out of the park requiring an angled back in. Many of the seasonal sites seemed to be overly crowded. We did not stay to experience the recreational amenities of the park. The owner's were enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. - Dewey Smith
Aug 2015 - $34.00
First, this is a Passport America park and they give you half off Monday-Thursday. They also give Good Sam discount everyday! The new owners took over March 20th, 2015 and are working to make this excellent park even better. They are a pet friendly park. They are starting a pet service Monday-Thursday where they will walk your dogs (if friendly). This is a lush beautiful park with an outer ring of back-ins and an inner ring of perpendicular to road spaces. The inner lawn has a beautiful pavilion with a large amount of picnic tables under. This set up would be ideal for an RV club or Dutch oven club gathering, or family reunion. This park has a small lake with paddle boats ($1 per 1/2 hour). They can be very proud of their new investment. After all the discounts for a week here was $174. Every site has garbage can. - DigMyPast
Sep 2011 - $20.00
This is an Airstream-only park run by a non-profit organization. About 20 sites are available for transient visitors; the rest are occupied by leaseholders. Annual leases are about $600 per year. Non-Airstream owners are welcome as guests of residents or Airstream transient visitors. The transient area is open with little shade, while all other sites are heavily shaded. Verizon doesn't work here but AT&T does. Wi-Fi reaches most of the park. The park is about 4 miles from Interstate 80 near Clarion PA. - silvertube
Sep 2016 - $30.00
We just left Flight 93 Memorial. Rainy, cold, very few RV parks. traveled a long ways. (it seemed)
It was a light in the darkness there aren't many RV parks on that rd.
Lot was level, had water, electric I believe it had sewer. No tv service.
Most sites were perm campers but only about 3 people were there. - SubVet SSBN619
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Called ahead and hosts waited for us to find them. Very pleasant. This is mostly a summer/recreational lake type of campground with very few of us passing through during the week. Lots are not level so evening up the camper was a challenge. - cmclark
Jun 2007 - $19.00
Most of park is occupied by seasonal campers. The office is rarely open. The camp store is not well stocked. The propane is the best price in the area. The electric service is sub-par. There is a dump station and a dump collector that comes by weekly, no sewer hookups. I imagine the campground is in a flood plain. The play ground is also sub-par. Oddly enough it is the best campground in the area. We drove by L&M located about 3 miles away and it was considerably worse. This campground is nicely wooded, the lots are odd shaped so you don't feel on top of your neighbors. The large creek/small river which borders it is beautiful and has fish. The campers are in general friendly. - msceejay2000
Sep 2018 - $30.00
We stayed at this park for two nights. The hostess was friendly. The rating I gave was because the pictures I saw online do not really show this park the way it is. The sites are very uneven. No shade. It is quite a way out from any stores. The road out was mostly pretty with grass and trees but was disappointed there were none of either on RV sites in this campground. A portion of the road to campground was loaded with potholes. If we had known all this we would not have stayed two nights or would not have stayed at all. - Terri Shepherd
May 2013 - $30.00
This campground has a ton of potential due to its remote location and close proximity to Yellow Creek. It appears that the owners are trying to clean it up. It's mostly seasonal sites, some are very nice, others not so much. Several large dogs were not leashed. Seasonals were friendly enough. The transient sites are located at the far end of the campground and are pull through. Fairly level. With the exception of a few simple swing sets, there is not much for children to do. Seems that management is trying to add more activities. - blondieemtp
