Over all this is a good campground if you are interested in spending time in the Delaware Gap rec area. Even though it is a concessionaire CG they honor the America the Beautiful pass which is reflected in our rate. This is a very wooded site. Internet service required using our antenna. Only tent camping is on the river. Now for the not so good. The restrooms are old and need a major cleaning & paint job. The roads are very narrow with lots of trees. The power boxes are so far forward the we had to use 30amps because our 50amp cord could not reach. It is very busy on the weekends but during the week it was almost empty. We would stay here again if in the area We camped at Dingmans Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This site is in the middle of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area. The campground is well shaded and the sites and roads are gravel and dirt. This sites look pretty level and we had no problem leveling up with the system in our MH. We had a 50 amp site and the power was clean. The bathrooms and showers were clean but the hot water was pretty much an illusion. The best you can hope for is a degree or two above body temp. We paid $18.50 a night with the old peoples federal discount. The going rate is $37/night. Way too high for what you get. Verizon phone and Wi-Fi worked but the Wi-Fi was pretty slow. I down graded this campground to a 5 due to the lack of hot water. It's convenient to a lot of nice water fall hikes. We camped at Dingmans Campground in a Motorhome.

Dingmans Ferry Campground – Delaware Water Gap (NPS) 133 rustic campsites – Site 84 No hookups at all but there is hot water and showers. Tent sites by the river $37/ tent or RV sites in the woods $32. Golden Age pass discount since this is a NPS campground. It seems expensive for a NPS campsite. Reservations can be made by calling the campgrounds toll free number. Not really big rig friendly! This is an interesting campground in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area located at Dingmans Ferry in PA. Sites are private along the Delaware river (tents only) or in the woods. The night we were there during the week in May only two other campers were there. The day was rainy off and on but the forest is so dense that you would not know it was raining. It can be very dark at night. There are hiking trails, horseshoes, volleyball and a boat ramp in the campground. There are a few visitor centers and a number of hikes to waterfalls in the Recreational Area and also on the other side of the Delaware River in NJ. The Appalachian Trail goes through the park and there are shuttles to bring you to one hut and pick up five miles later at another hut. There are also canoe trails and trips from one day to more than four offered for a price. It is in a beautiful area in the Pocomo section of PA and it is a resort area. The camp store opens in the morning and offers free coffee on some days at 8. We camped at Dingmans Campground in a Motorhome.
