This is an older campground and as the name says a fishing camp located right on the river. The store sells bait, tackle and rents boats, canoes and kayaks and will provide transportation for float trips. The campsites obviously get flooded and the electric, water and cable are raised above flood stage. The sewer system is individual holding tanks at the sites which are pumped daily on weekdays and there is a dump station. Electric is 15 amp. The cable TV had a good variety of channels and worked well. Local over the air channels were limited to one network and two other channels with poor reception. Verizon has a strong 3G signal. The roads are shale and dirt. Some sites have concrete pads and a picnic table. There is one old cinder block building with toilets and showers and some portapotties. We camped at Riverfront Campground and Fishing Camp in a Travel Trailer.Undo
