I stay here 3-4 days per week in a tent on a primitive site. It’s very peaceful down by the river. Some of the RV spots look very tight to me, but my RV is a van so I would use a tent site even if I did sleep in my van there. I have a thousand trails zone Park pass. I think it was $450. Divided by the nights I’ve used it I’m at about $8/ night. I typically use it 6 nights per week. - MrBoondock

Price reflects Thousand Trails membership. Campground is slowly making improvements. They are starting to try and control site usage better as in suggesting sites that better fit the size of the unit and needs. They still need to level some sites and trim some trees but, in their defense, sites become filled as fast as they empty. Sometimes it is hard to get a nice transit sites as they are holding sites to become seasonal but, in a pinch, will let transits use them. Small improvement. - DBLR
Apr 2018 - $30.00
Some sites spacious, others crowded, not level but only took couple of boards on one side. WiFi didn't work...said wrong password and staff said " it should work". Not well designed. Host building about 1/2 mile away. Pick your own site. - Marie Hodgdon
Jul 2018 - $56.00
This is a very nice CG next to Dutch Wonderland. The interior roads are paved and the sites are gravel with picnic tables. There are no amenities so the high price is due to the location. There is a little road noise mostly from truck traffic and some noise from the Dutch Wonderland. - Michael47
Jun 2018 - $62.00
Very beautiful view from river front sites. River front row of sites are level. Interior roads are one lane wide only. Beware that you may run into oncoming traffic and someone has to back up. Thus checkout is 11am and checkin is 3pm! Many beautiful trees, beware not to run into them. No place to hookup toad except on interior road blocking all traffic. Basically a very tight old campground. T-Mobile service was good. Did not try their Tengo internet. Had to mail deposit by check, very old school and inconvenient reservations process. They sold wet bundle of wood to us. - univmd
Jun 2018 - $55.00
I booked late but managed to get a decent spot. It was a pull in, not a back in. Odd, but functional. Site 303 is in the back of the campground and quite quiet. The big complaint is that all the sewer hookups were non threaded and so many had hoses just stuck in and not sealed. There was a lot of odor from them. A sewer donut works well and should be required. Dog friendly but no poop bag stations or dog park. Good cable with 46 stations. Campground is next to Dutch Wonderland and shares the entrance. There could be a long line to get in during peak season and early in the day. Entrance is directly across the street from the Tanger Outlets. An Amish wagon came through the campground in the evening selling pastries and jellies. - DebDon
Aug 2018 - $45.00
Near PA Amish country, quite when we were there. Nice pool and playground. lots of rain = lots of mud. A very nice place to visit. - Joe-Sandy
Jul 2018 - $55.00
Campground is dated. Bathrooms absolutely need an update. We were there simply because it was the closest campground to the Hershey area that wasn't booked. Sewer connections ran uphill from the trailer. Site was nowhere close to level. We wouldn't go again. - Skippy9842
Nov 2017 - $47.00
We made our reservation Sep 13, 2017 online for Thanksgiving 2017. The online reservation program and Pinch Ponds own website made no mention of water being turned off for winter. We thought we would have full hook-ups as stated on the reservation confirmation. Even when we arrived, the staff didn't mention that the water had been turned off. We didn't know there was no water until after the RV was leveled, slides were out and I went to hook up the water. I completely understand the need to turn off the water and winterize certain areas of campgrounds - that is certainly not the issue. The issue is that we were not notified ahead of time. The staff was able to run a hose to our site so that we could fill our tank. We made the best of it and didn't let it ruin our Thanksgiving. As far as the Campground goes, it has a mixture of seasonal and nonseasonal. Some of the seasonal sites are rundown and messy. Our site was sloped to driver's side and we had to put the wheels on blocks to get the auto level to work properly. Trash dumpster was overflowing. Office/store building was nice, but other buildings were run down and in need of repair. Most likely will not return due to inadequate communication from the staff, noise from I-76 and an adjoining shooting range (even Thanksgiving day, range was active). - Joe G1
Jun 2018 - $26.00
Made advanced registration but when we showed up at the entrance gate the gentleman said he did not have us on record. Nevertheless, he was very helpful and accommodating guiding us to a site. Turns out the office was closed on Sunday very early so there was no one to check with about the reservation and no one available (except the maintenance gent) to pay for the propane we obtained. It would have been nice if the person who took the reservation had told us these things before we showed up. Other than that the park was clean and neat. Since it was pouring rain most of our overnight stay we cannot comment on the facilities there. - Bob & Stephanie
Sep 2017 - $1.00
Very small spots in F section. We we so close to camper next to us that we could smell their sewer. I should have taken it as a warning when the ranger ask me how many blocks we had with us when we got there. No level spots and no way we had enough blocking. Weeds even in flower beds taller than us. And shooting nearby all day all weekend. Picnic table at site was black from weather. We will not use this campground again. - Rshoster67
Sep 2017 - $48.00
We stayed 2 nights for the Hershey RV show. Easy to get to from the interstate. It was a last minute decision so the park was very full. The extremely nice staff gentleman that met us at the gate and took us on a golf cart to all the site options that were still available to us was very helpful and kind. We picked a site that was easy to get in and out of. To be able to hook up to sewer we had to place our 5er so close to the side of the road that we were not able to extend our awning. The park needs lots of updating and maintenance. I did not go into the bathrooms or showers but my husband said I would not use them. Two of the showers were broke and in need of some serious cleaning. Our first night there we heard constant gun range shooting until past 8pm. There are quite a few of permanent sites and a few looked pretty "interesting" to say the least. The sites that had more privacy did not have sewer hook up but did have electric and water. Getting our RV in some of those sites with all the overhanging trees and tight turns would of been not worth the hassle for only 2 nights. I was grateful that we found a campsite on such short notice for the RV show but would not return there to camp again. - debwright
Aug 2018 - $60.00
Good location for area attractions. The campground is congested and the sites are all back-ins. Parking is difficult at times. But for the most part it is a quiet park adjacent to Amish farmland. - NYKnappers
Aug 2018 - $55.00
This is a small but immaculately kept park just one street off Hwy. 30 and very convenient to local sites. YES the sites are close together and YES they are strong on rules. We liked that because it helps keep the park a nice neat and quiet place to stay. Though we don't use the restrooms at parks, It had the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen. The owners were very gracious and helpful. They suggested that we be good "backer in types", which we are and had no trouble parking our 45' rig. If you have kids, I would suggest going to a larger park with more amenities for kiddos. There is not much space to walk the dog but presented NO problems. There are a lot of trees so you may not get satellite. Cable is available but it may be an additional charge. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! - blumarlin
Jun 2018 - $50.00
Sites are very close. No campfires. Sites were muddy after a rain. We were backed up to a broken wooden fence which separated the site from an Amish farm. Campground is centrally located in the Amish countryside. AT&T as well as T-Mobile cell service both worked fine. Uber is available in the area and we used them to get around. No Pool. Many seasonal sites with people returning to their trailers in the late afternoon. Not really a family type atmosphere. Don't think we will return here. Owners very pleasant. - Zman1403
Jul 2015 - $28.00
This is place is a "residential RV camper park" - it is dirty, run down, ducks everywhere (and their droppings), the staff was not nice at all. There are many "permanent" sites that clearly people live in all year and they are deplorable. The swing sets were covered in rust and barely work, there is a bridge over the pond that is ready to sink any minute. Go anywhere else than this place. Not impressed, and will never return. - Lspajm
Aug 2018 - $75.00
Sites are very very small, only enough room for a picnic table between you and the next site. Staff is very rude. Like camping in a parking lot.. Wall Mart would have been a nicer place to stay. Just my opinion. I like to have a little space. Please only use if the Wall Mart Parking lot is full - Raddad
Sep 2016 - $50.00
Nice quaint little RV park next to a farm. It has some historical significance as there is a mill and a wooden bridge on the property.
No asphalt, just dirt roads...so its dusty on dry days.
There is a creek that runs on two sides of the park and the sites are big enough where you can sit outside and enjoy the water.
People are very pleasant and there are work/stay programs here.
Not enough 50 amp sites but plenty of 30 amp sites.
Off RT 30 and secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. - Dmann1
Aug 2016 - $43.00
This is a small campground located right next to a farm. Sites are level with dirt/gravel pads. Our electric and water hookups were on the opposite side of our rv, but we were able to position it so that our 25 foot electric cord would reach. There is a creek that runs past one side of the campground and fishing is allowed. Staff is friendly and helpful. - JC06
Aug 2018 - $45.00
We made a late reservation to Starlite, but they were able to accommodate us. Our site had full hook ups. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was very well stocked. It had everything one could want. The site was pretty level. I did need to use some leveling blocks but when I did the trailer was dead on. The connections were convenient. If I had to find something to nitpick it would be that the sewer connection was not threaded and you had to find a heavy object to put on top of it to make sure that the hose didn't come out of the ground. Also, our site was a little difficult to back into because the interior roads are narrow. Our site was wooded which afforded us quite a bit of privacy. Bathrooms were clean. The view from the plateau sites was really nice. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back. - Tim W
Jul 2018 - $54.00
Spent this past weekend there. Despite the constant rain, we had a wonderful time. Our campsite was on Lower Plateau Road. What a gorgeous view! We stayed on the recommendation of a friend, and we will certainly be back! - wheezer01
Jul 2017 - $50.00
The entrance to this campground is on a hill, as are all of the area campgrounds. The owners are very friendly. Upon arrival, we were not completely satisfied with our site as we learned there was no sewer connection, so we were able to change the following morning when a site opened up. The next site was up on the plateau with an amazing overlook! There was no shade, but the view made up for this!! They do not have golf carts, but the amenities are really not that far, just down a hill, where they had paths. The pool was very clean and warm. The hay ride was lots of fun. We loved looking at the exotic animals as well. All the sites are spread out and a good size. We were on the end, could set up a trailer, tarp, and two vehicles with lots of room to spare! Nice and quiet! We will return. - autismmom
Aug 2018 - $60.00
Lots of room for big rigs, but the sites go fast, so book early. This is one of the nicest parks in the Lancaster area. They have a beautiful pool and another nice new restroom building. - NYKnappers
Aug 2018 - $56.00
This is our go to park when in the area. Very clean, grounds well maintained. Site level. Small trees on site. We stayed in a back-in site in the front part of the campground, corn field behind us. Only complaint is the WiFi way not good. We could get on but when tried to go to a web site, it just kept searching. I went to the office and told a gentleman, he was surprised about this but nothing changed the 10 days we were there. We will stay again on our return trip. We stayed 10 days. - milodog
Aug 2018 - $51.00
Beautiful campground. Extremely clean and well maintained. Their bathrooms are the cleanest we've ever had. Nice roomy showers with great water pressure. The pool and deck were spotless too. The sites are a little small and narrow. Big enough to use slide outs & awnings, but had to park our tow vehicle across the front of site along the road. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be going back - The Deckers
