This is a nice campground in the woods. They have a lot of activities. Nice shaded spots. The spots are a little tight, but not bad. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was easy to get to as it was right off RT209 in the Marshalls Creek area. The campground is on the side of a mountain and wooded. The roads at stone and a little hilly but easy to get around with a large RV. There is plenty to do with the kids as they have 2 playgrounds and lots of activities. The bingo night was fun even though we didn't win. The sites are just the right size and close together but separated by trees and brush. Great spot to relax by the fire for the weekend. This was our third year doing a weekend trip and will be back again in the future. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 16 nights to visit family in PA and NJ. Family owned campground with great service and friendly staff. Hilly and gravel roads, we had quite a bit of rain while there. Didn't use any of the amenities. Site B15, large enough for our 43 ft bus and toad . We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is 6 miles off I-80 and a little difficult to find. Their website does not have directions, you have to scan an app on your phone, which I don't have. The locals roads are hilly and narrow, especially the trees are intruding on the roadway. Once at the park, you have a steep climb to the office. The office stall was friendly and helpful, and the site was easy to find. This campground was cut out of a forest on the side of a mountain, so there is little level terrain. The interior roads are gravel and a little tight and the road to the P section has a serious dip. The sites are pretty level at the rear, but that is where the hook-ups are so it worked out. A number of the dead trees in the park were carved by local artists and are something to see. The cable TV is great with many analog channels. The WiFi was also excellent. Water pressure was good and the voltage steady. The sites are rather close but it is so wooded you don't see your neighbor. I was happy with our stay there and would return given the opportunity. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Motorhome.

We camped on Father's Day weekend. The campground was in a hilly setting, keep in mind it's called Mountain Vista. Staff was very friendly. Store was well stocked. Plenty of activities for kids. Pool was nice but on the small side. Our campsite was very wooded, set into the side of a hill but is was pretty level. The roads in the campground were pretty easy to navigate but they were steep in spots. We were escorted to our site by a staff member. One negative was the entrance to the campground, the parking area outside of the office was narrow and on a steep hill. Our site had full hookups, the water pressure though was a bit low. Our site was a bit narrow but my wife and I liked it quite a bit. I fished in the pond that's across the street from campground. The fishing was a little slow but there are some big bass in there. All in all a really good trip. We will definitely be going back. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park has lots of trees and is almost like a state park. Some sites are ample and some are tight. We are 42 feet long with 4 slides and barely fit in our spot for a 2 month stay. It was very unloved. We reserved about 6 months in advance. There are a few 50 amp sites, mostly 30 amp and most sites are occupied by seasonal. The roads are bumpy, rutted and gravel. Unless you have a pull thru, plan on lots of backing and filling. Owners are very accommodating and very sweet. They even have a herb garden to share. They seem to cater to the seasonal, so if you have a problem with one of the seasonals, noise levels, etc....it probably won't be addressed. Good place for families...not a good overnite stop. If you are larger than 40 feet, I would consider looking elsewhere. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Motorhome.

This is my second season at Mt Vista. I came in May this year and left in October. I love this park. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Even on busiest weekends the nights are quiet. My site was big enough and had bushes on either side so my views were of trees not another camper. Wi-Fi always good.Water pressure excellent. We stayed here in August for a long weekend. Staff was awesome due to my hubs being in an accident. They were very accommodating in helping me find my way around to purchase supplies. Sites are large and it is very quiet at night. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is an absolutely beautiful location but I would not stay here again. The drive into the park and the registration parking was on a very dangerous hill, not good if you don't have very good brakes. The site was again in a beautiful location but it was very unlevel. I have an automatic leveling system and it would not level the RV. I had to use it in the manual mode and still didn't get it right but acceptable for one night. The price, given the time of the year, was ridiculous. The hookups were not well placed, I had to move way forward to even think about hooking up to electricity. The water pressure was so low, I think if I had used a pressure regulator, it would have helped not hindered. I would have hated to have been here in the height of their season; there would have been no water. The road around the sites was very tight, if someone with little to no experience with tight places would have ruined their RV. The site was dirt with a little stone thrown in for the tourists. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A clean, well-maintained park in a hilly area. Slight slope to most sites but easy to level. Good hookups, sewer old style non-threaded requiring rubber doughnut. Good cable, local channels plus NY and Philly sports teams. Gravel roads but not dusty. Lots of activities for kids, including fishing pond and panning for "gold". Moderate sized very clean pool. Small store with basics, bread/milk etc. Easy check in, friendly staff. Nature/fitness trail a plus. Only saw one other couple besides us without at least one dog. The RV across from us had five dogs in an outside pen, but the owners were attentive to quieting them when necessary. During the day we could almost always hear barking from one location or another in the park, but it was just background noise and not a deal breaker. CG is extremely quiet at night and we were there over a weekend. Heavy rain did not stop numerous campfire lovers from trying to burn wet wood. Enough smoke that we closed our windows and went with air conditioning the second night. A decent breeze and dry weather would have eliminated the issue. Overall this was a pleasant camping experience and we would certainly return. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Motorhome.

Shaded park with tight spaces. Lots of trees which makes maneuvering through campground tricky. Like most northern campground we've been to, it's pack em and stack em. The better sites have long stay campers. Sites are not level. Could be a nicer park if they got rid of every other site. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
