World's End is a nice campground with good space between neighboring sites. Some electric sites are too small for any type of trailer. Check the park reservation site for details on the size of the sites. Most campers had smaller travel trailers no bigger than 25 ft or so. It would be hard to deal with something larger in any of the sites. Bath houses are newer and in good shape and kept clean. The bath house in the electric loop is the better one because it has three showers. The non-electric loop house only has one shower, which is odd because non-RV users are going to make heavier use of the facilities. For non electric sites, I like 20-25 because they are close to the bigger bath house. The only problem is that the state road runs right behind those sites, so you can get some 45 mph traffic noise even though the road is very lightly traveled. Sites 1-13 and 26-36 are at the entrance and every camper must travel past to enter, so there is more campground traffic there. the two loops have different exits even though they share the same entrance. Tent pads are mulch and all sites that I noticed were level. No cell phone service. You can get some Verizon coverage if you hike the trails up to the tops of the mountains. There is a phone card-only pay phone at the electric loop bath house. We camped at Worlds End State Park in a Tent.

This campground is mostly wooded, and the roads and sites are not paved. The restrooms are fairly new and nice, though they could use a little more attention. They have a separate family restroom for campers with children. Our biggest complaint with the campground was the huge piles of brush (trees and branches) left scattered around many of the campsites in the upper loop (sites 44-70) as well as the numerous knee-high weeds in the grassy areas between sites. Limbs and branches all over the ground take away from what would be a very scenic place. The electric sites are all in the lower loop (sites 1-43), and the more private sites are in the upper loop. Mostly tents up there. It is a very quiet campground. The state park features a very nice 1.2-mile hiking trail called Double Run that goes past several small water falls. There also is a scenic canyon view next to a place called the Rock Garden that has lots of boulders. And there is a swimming area near a dam, but the water is extremely cold. We camped at Worlds End State Park in a Travel Trailer.
