37 RV Parks near Gordonville, Pennsylvania
May 2018 - $43.00
We visited for a weekend with our son and his partner. The campground is very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The new bathrooms near the pool were SPECTACULAR. The pool was not open yet but looked lovely - will return for it! We liked the free VIP program option and look forward to staying nine nights for a free breakfast. The VIP card we got was also good for discounts at various local businesses. And - the free Hershey bar for joining was awesome on our S'Mores. We find sites 850 and 851 to be great to set up space in the between to be close to each other. There was some road noise from route 30 but nothing horrible. - AJ Empty Nest
Apr 2018 - $50.00
Wonderful park, very clean and well kept also a great staff. They added a new building near the pool which will be a great addition, looked like a counter service that will probably be opened when the pool is and a nice big room for events. The only thing they could improve on would be to widen the mouth of the sites a little so you do not back over the grass. We will return. - DBLR
Oct 2017 - $50.00
Rude. Rude. Rude. This is a great park and deserves a much higher rating except for one staff member. She is undoubtedly the rudest person we have met after over 150,000 miles in our motor home. Never, never have I met a service person go out of their way to make check in disagreeable. I am not alone in my opinion. I walked up to a group of 8 or 10 as they were bellyaching about her as well. Enjoy the area. Stay away from this lady. - Charisma1965
Apr 2018 - $50.00
We camped at Beacon Hill Campground for two nights. The campground is very small but lovely. Very well kept and very clean. The sites are tight and close together but the beauty is that you are nestled between two beautiful Amish farms that are breathtaking. The area is very quite, the only sounds are the clicking of the horse and buggies that go by or the sounds of cows mooing while looking down into the farm The bathrooms, showers and laundry area are spotless. Even though the campground feels a little crowded you are also walking distance to the lovely town of Intercourse. We had full hook-ups and wifi (wifi a little slow but ok). We really enjoyed our stay and would return. The best sites are on the upper level. Sites 1 to 9 are the best. The lower level looks more like a crowded parking lot but it can take the bigger rigs. Our site was just long enough for our 28ft. trailer. You are unable to also fit your vehicle, but you can park your vehicle in parking area right across the sites, just a few steps away. - surveyor
Oct 2017 - $45.00
Well run, pleasant park. Our front window overlooked a field where we saw the farmer tilling with a team of mules, and the quiet side road with the clip clip of the occasional horse and buggy. The side/rear windows overlooked the lovely countryside. - D and M
Oct 2017 - $47.00
Have stayed here before, and would like to return. Agree with the last several posts, good location and friendly people in the heart of Amish country. We had what I would describe as a pull in, back out site. The interior road can be quite tight because of parked vehicles. - mroswell
Apr 2018 - $50.00
The only good aspect of this campground is the cable and WiFi. It appeared the majority (90%) of campers were permanent residents. The roads had poor drainage, the gravel area for fifth wheel was to narrow. When you stepped out of camper, you stepped in mud. We were told if you want to use a rug it has to be on the gravel so we didn't even bother to get rug out. The dog walk was about 30 yards long by 3 ft wide and that is being generous. All sites are back ins and not on an angle so very unfriendly for big rigs ( ours is 38 ft fifth wheel). There was minimal parking for truck after backed in camper. Looked at other campgrounds in area and we were sad we did not stay at one of them. Will not stay here again. - P Ardis
Nov 2017 - $40.00
This is not a resort. It is a smaller, older but very well maintained park. All sites are back-in's and fair sized. Parking the 1 ton truck perpendicular in front of the fifth-wheel was required by staff and made the road through a bit narrow. The laundry facilities were spotless. Here's what will get us to return here without a moment's hesitation: The Management. We arrived with a trailer repair issue and had to rent a car. Without great detail let me say these folks are the nicest, most accommodating, generous, helpful husband & wife team we've yet met during our four years of travel. Give this park your consideration...it's worth it! - TPDBOB8687
Oct 2017 - $52.00
I must say we really enjoyed our stay here. Found the campground very appealing with the Amish farms that backed up to our site and the place seemed to have a country charm. Sites 20 through 42 back up to Amish farms and yes there is farm smells here. One thing of note if you valve your space or privacy this place may not be to your liking, sites are very tight with little space between sites which is most likely why they have a no campfire policy here. Also no mats allowed on grass. In addition most vehicles/tow vehicles had to T up at their sites because of lack of space. This may also create a blocking problem for some of the larger Rv's having to get into their sites. Geography at the campground was open to lightly wooded and very level. Camp roads are packed dirt and well grated. Campsites that we noticed had crushed stone. Our full hookups were in good working order. Camp store was well stocked. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Showers have plenty of hooks, space and a bench to put your stuff on. Staff was friendly and informative. Seasonal sites were decently maintained, transient campers friendly and respectful. Good signal on our Verizon cell, briefly used Wifi which seemed slow to load up. We enjoyed this campground and would return or recommend this place to anyone. - mdcamping
Sep 2016 - $50.00
Nice quaint little RV park next to a farm. It has some historical significance as there is a mill and a wooden bridge on the property.
No asphalt, just dirt roads...so its dusty on dry days.
There is a creek that runs on two sides of the park and the sites are big enough where you can sit outside and enjoy the water.
People are very pleasant and there are work/stay programs here.
Not enough 50 amp sites but plenty of 30 amp sites.
Off RT 30 and secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. - Dmann1
Aug 2016 - $43.00
This is a small campground located right next to a farm. Sites are level with dirt/gravel pads. Our electric and water hookups were on the opposite side of our rv, but we were able to position it so that our 25 foot electric cord would reach. There is a creek that runs past one side of the campground and fishing is allowed. Staff is friendly and helpful. - JC06
Jun 2016 - $56.00
This is a small quiet campground. Our site was dirt/gravel that backed up to the creek and was level. Our site had nice tree cover which was nice for our dogs to stay in the shade. There are sites right in front of the office that don't have any shade so we were glad we didn't have one of those. It is next to a working farm. It was nice to sit by the campfire and hear the horse and buggy go by on the road. Very peaceful. An Amish family came around selling hand crafted items in the evening. Very close to activities of Lancaster and Strasburg. Staff was pleasant on checking in. Pool was clean but not heated. We would stay here again. - joinpa
Sep 2017 - $41.00
This is an old established park that seems to try to do upkeep, but not so much doing things to improve the park. It looks like they are working on new electric but not sure as they have been doing this for awhile according to another camper. There has been a talk of a pool for so long I don't know if that will happen. The maintenance crew spent most of 3 or 4 days cutting down some big trees that may have been going bad. The roads are gravel but with many work campers doing a pipeline job nearby, the roads have some mud holes and ruts where they have run across the grass. Sites are a bit tight and with the big rigs the workers have, there trucks are almost parked in the roadway, making it difficult to get by in some areas. It's a nice area to camp with lots of Amish buggies going by at nighttime, and also coming thru the park to sell their goods. - delacamper
Sep 2017 - $41.00
Small park located off Route 30 about 10 miles East from downtown Lancaster. Check in was easy, and staff very friendly. Site was pull thru, gravel, 30 amp, but Rig needed to be leveled. Water pressure was ok. Sites are close together, some shady some out in the open. We had an open site, however couldn't get satellite. Basic cable was good. Fire ring & picnic table. Small dog park, but green space to walk dogs. Roads in are gravel, enough room to maneuver, and they provide directions for best route to site. Next to an Amish farm on one side and a museum on the other, beautiful views of farmland. Quiet basic park, small playground, small store and no pool. Has mainly seasonal & full time residents, and therefore some trailers/RV need upkeep. They appear to be adding new trailers to be used as rental cabins. Good for an overnight stay. Close to Lancaster, and attractions. - KKColorado
May 2017 - $44.00
Having been to many camp grounds in Lancaster county this one needs major upgrades. Very dated and old bathrooms and overly pricey laundry facility. Sites are so so not very level. Alot of the sites I passed while walking around especially the white fema looking homes near the tent area just horid looking un landscaped, weeds, muddy and just not at all attractive to see. Farm overview is beautiful and then to walk by such a trashy ghetto looking area was very un inviting. Very disappointed to have seen that. Activities absolutely NONE!! No pool no nothing. If you're passing through and need a spot to sleep it's great other then that keep driving. Not recommended at all for a weekend getaway. - ANDO
Oct 2017 - $60.00
Absolutely gorgeous views! That said the rest of "amenities" leave a lot to be desired. Impossible to believe any updates have been made to the bathhouse in the last 20 years. They were stark and only had 2 unisex showers that were cleanish but required to push a button to have water. During interactions with staff found them to abrupt. - VA Campers
Oct 2017 - $80.00
The view was wonderful. Lots of rules. No pool or hot tub, no clubhouse or activities. We enjoyed seeing all the Amish buggies going down the road. - Jane-D100
Aug 2017 - $60.00
The view of the Amish farm country from our campsite was spectacular. The utilities were well placed on our pull through site. The water pressure was low and the sewer connection wasn't threaded. The cable TV worked well. The wifi was hit and miss. I was initially put off by having to stop at a gate and exit my motorhome to call the office on an intercom in order to gain entrance to the campground. It made me wonder if the campground was in the Amish hood and they needed the protection. I never did discover the reason for this level of security in this apparently safe area. I would return because of the view. - FSUWizard
Aug 2017 - $72.00
Nice Beach area and fishing pond....2 pools one was supposed to be heated...it did not feel as though it was heated. Low hanging branches making it difficult to navigate large rig to campsite. Septic system backed up causing feces to float around campsite. The front desk advised they could not fix the problem....after 2 days of not being able to use water and flush toilet, waste management arrived. Also, in the next campsite a water pipe broke causing large puddles in the mud. As we were doing a family camping trip my niece was renting a cabin for 4 adults and 2 young children. After checking in and going to cabin we were horrified by the condition of the cabin. In addition to being filthy, the window was broken and taped together and the screen was broken. After arguing with the manager her cabin was eventually changed. On a good note the front desk clerk was very polite and apologetic. - Chriss6
Jul 2017 - $52.00
Unfortunately, made reservations to stay one month to the tune of 845.00. Finding the site was difficult as the sites are not marked that you can see the site from roadway. Had to request that limbs be cut to accommodate our opening of slides. Pulled into a very untidy area with two other side by side neighbors that are to be desired as they are unkept, garbage outside and curtains just hanging in windows. Very disappointed with site and hope they can remedy our situation that we do not have to search for other accommodations. Be sure you deeply investigate your camping ground choice...taking advertising shots as your guide could lead to a disappointment. - Cnova
Jun 2017 - $65.00
We try to do at least one weekend a year here. The lower sites are more open and energetic, close to the office, camp store, and activities building. the upper sites, up the mountain, are quieter, almost totally tree covered with lots of seasonals. Most of the seasonal people are nice with clean and neat setups. The upper pool was clean and busy. Cable TV had plenty of channels. On the down side, everything was expensive in the camp store. WiFi was extra. Cell phone reception was never more than 2 bars. Miniature golf was $3.00. - DebDon
Oct 2016 - $47.00
Nice family owners, friendly & helpful. Sites are in side of mountain, winds up, nice size private sites stone covered & level. Our favorite campground in Amish area......perfect place for a getaway. Wifi, tv, workers are helpful & friendly if needed. Highly recommend. - Cbh
May 2014 - $40.00
A work in progress. We had tried a couple of other campgrounds and they were full. These folks were very friendly and we stayed with them three nights. Once you get to the sites for transients, it is quiet and peaceful. Getting there was hair raising, zigging and zagging up dirt/gravel switchback roads. We were three levels up. Many permanent sites on the lower levels. The utilities were on the wrong side on our site although others were OK. Power supply was only 105 volts and kept kicking the breaker. Only 30 amp service. Luckily we didn't need the air at this time of year. Site was level and there was a nice/steep beginning walking trail. The restrooms need major work, probably replaced. Hubby checked them and said privacy was non existent with shower curtain dividers. At $40 it sufficed but probably won't return. - elaine170
Sep 2013 - $40.00
Very friendly and accommodating. Large private sites. Playground is at the lower end and seemed to be nice. We did not come to Lancaster to use the campground facilities we came here to explore the Amish food, shops and the Sight and Sound Theater. We will stay here again. - Oldman5145
Apr 2018 - $52.00
This is a beautiful campground with nice views of farmland. We saw lots of cows grazing each day just across the stream. The campsites are spacious and we had a good amount of space separation from our neighbor. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was friendly. The campground is connected to Dutch Wonderland which we took our kids to one day. It was really nice to just walk over to the park and not have to drive or pay for parking. There is so much to see and do in the area. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked great. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are ever in that area again. - Love2Camp777
Nov 2017 - $62.00
We camp quite a bit in the Lancaster PA area but this was the first time we have stayed at Old Mill Stream. We had numerous activities planned for the weekend in Lancaster and used the campground as a home base. Unfortunately it was super cold the weekend we stayed so we couldn't sit outside and enjoy a campfire at night. Campground is super convenient to all the Lancaster area activities. Due to the cold the campground was shutting off the water at night. No issue with Verizon cell service. Cable was sufficient, site 123 had tree cover that blocked satellite signal. The main entrance/exit of the campground goes through the Dutch Wonderland parking lot, while the amusement park was closed while we were there I could see getting in and out an issue based on the daily park attendance. - SJEAGLES609
Oct 2017 - $61.00
Staff were friendly and the campground was well layed out. Surprisingly quiet for its location near an amusement park and a shopping mall. Sites were fairly close together - however trees helped provide some privacy. - JR Tampa
Aug 2017 - $47.00
This is a lovely, tree shaded campground with really nice amenities. There's a Church Service on Sunday (church bells ring - nice), and entertainment on Saturday. One of the nicest campgrounds we stayed at, so far. We also had an medical emergency. The campground, and a fellow camper, helped us through a scary time. Left to our own devices, it would not only have ended our vacation but would have caused great distress. However, with the help of very nice people at the campground, within a few hours we were back on vacation! Thank you, all. - Susan Layland
Nov 2016 - $40.00
We came for 1 week and ended up staying 2 months. Very quite park. Close to everything. Located in beautiful farmland. The staff has been amazing to us. We will differently come back. We found a great church to attend. Very peaceful here. - tanya mitchell
Aug 2016 - $42.00
This was our second trip to this campground. First one was unsatisfactory but gave it another try. Office staff was courteous but not real friendly.
New pool was nice but deepest point was 4 feet only. Center of pool had volleyball net and also had a basket ball net. Made actual swimming impossible.
Site were EXTREMELY narrow. Campers literally on top of each other. Sitting out you were able to look into the windows of the next camper.
We were with friends and we did have an end site, #16. Unsatisfactory site along with the others even though it was on the end. Couldn't sit outside of the trailer under the awning because the ground sloped down and felt like you were sliding out of your chairs. Had to sit at the back end of the trailer almost in the bushes to have a level site to sit, and even that sloped down. Didn't use picnic table because of slope.
Check out time was noon. RIDICULOUIS!. All other campgrounds check out usually after 1 p.m. We left the campground on a Sunday. Church services were at 10 a.m. Unable to attend church because we needed to get packed up and hooked up to meet the NOON CHECKOUT time.
Will NEVER use this campground again. Gave two chances and failed at both.
On the plus side, we had a beautiful view of the farm land. Unfortunately this was the only positive I could comment on.
I gave it a 3 star but my gut says its only a 2 star facility. - SandraAlethea
