Yup, we returned to Country Acres. It is a nice campground, close to Lancaster attractions, but this time we were in the area to help my sister move over the weekend.

The campground is the same as last time, clean, well maintained, nice sites that are fairly level. I reserved a W/E site, but they upgraded me to a full hook-up for free as the W/E sites were shut down for the year.

Campground is in very good condition, very clean and well kept, with very friendly staff. Site was level and had plenty of space, though sites further down the row were pretty close together. We are in the area often and will stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

One of the great parks we have stayed at. When I called, they were filled up but then found us space when somebody cancelled in their big rig section. I told the attendant after we checked in "you people have it all figured out, just wonderful" The rest rooms and laundry building was spotless, the spaces had lots of elbow room between them, and had it not been for the noise from the nearby road, I would have given them a "10" rating. There's a gate that controls access into the park. We even had some Amish farmers harvesting corn right behind us in the field. This park has a great location and is minutes from all the attractions. It truly is Big Rig friendly and we hated to leave, and are anxious to return. Kudos to the owners of the place for running it so well, and understanding what RV'ers like and need. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Really, I wasn't blown away by this park. I tried to get a less expensive site and use a back in but office staff said the only 50 amp sites were on top with pull thrus. I found that odd but oh well. The road noise was heavy and lots of folks were driving around at 5:30 am. The second day the farm smell was overwhelming. I wouldn't camp here again - there are nice parks further off the main drag that would be a lot quieter and easier to get in and out of. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground offers a bus tour in conjunction with other properties owned by the same group. It was nice to get into some unknown areas.

Well maintained park, level gravel pads, clean swimming pool. Most of the sites are in full sun. There are small trees but little shade from them. The direction the sites are situated kept the sun on our table/grill side from early morning till 7:30PM (sunset) when we could finally eat our dinner outside. Campground is surrounded by fields and so we got to see a team of 6 Belgians pulling a hay baler clean up a field. Very friendly and helpful office staff especially with restaurant suggestions. A very nice free bus tour of the Amish farms is offered for guests of their motels and campsites. Visited Gettysburg National Park while camped here. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Gettysburg National Park is about a 50 minute drive.

Wonderful RV park in the heart of Lancaster! Very close to shopping, restaurants, outlets. Park is beautifully maintained, well laid out and easy to get around. Sites were gravel and grass, nice and big. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Laundry room was the cleanest I have ever seen, and I peeked in at the shower area (didn't use it) and it too was spotless! Wi-Fi signal was excellent, as was the cable hookup. Camp store was well stocked and very homey. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Many Amish farms to visit, shopping, restaurants, gift shops, etc. Fun place!

A very nice campground in the heart of Amish country. Wi-Fi is to get your email only. Signal was excellent, but you cannot surf the net. Restroom and showers very clean. The only thing stopping a 10 rating is the gravel pad. I will stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground, with sites for every camper, from primitive tent sites to the largest or big rigs. Gravel roads and sites, the grounds were very well kept. Site itself, 851, was level side to side, but not front to back. Water and electric for this site were on the wrong side. It was a small site, all we need, the bigger sites had utilities on the correct side and looked level. Staff was very friendly. The store and office was small but well stocked. A very nice zero entry pool that had not opened for the season yet, as well as a small playground, large pavilion and volleyball. Bath house was not real modern, but nice, clean, and had plenty of hot water. You get some road noise from nearby Route 30, but it does settle down at night. Price reflects a W/E with a 10% Good Sam discount. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Jennies Dinner just west on 30 is open 24 hours, reasonably priced, and has great food.

This is a well run facility, clean and orderly with friendly staff. We were located in a site right by the entrance, but the traffic was hardly noticeable. Our site was quite level, and W/S/E/C all worked very well. The WiFi was strong most of the time. Route 30 traffic might be an issue at times, but we had no problems traveling about during our stay. This is an excellent location to visit all of the wonders of Lancaster County. We will return. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

One of the best campgrounds we stay in across the country. From the staff in front office to the grounds crew. Very easy check in. Grounds and buildings always clean. Close to area attractions. Will return here when ever in the area. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here with 3 other families in the newly opened "big rig" area towards the front of the campground. The sites were probably the largest we've ever seen in a private campground. The bathrooms were spotless, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff was very friendly and the camp store well stocked. This is a very convenient place to stay if you are going to the Sight and Sound Theatre, as it is only about a 10 minute drive. Just be prepared for the traffic on Rt 30, which there is no getting away from while entering or leaving the campground. I've rated this campground an 8 out of 10 due to two issues. First, there is a lot of road noise coming off of Rt 30. On the weekday, this noise is all night long. There is also a business adjacent to the campground that opens relatively early in the morning (7 AM) and you get to hear the air ratchets and power tools. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I called two other campgrounds first, and they were full for the weekend. When I called Country Acres, I was told they just had a cancellation, and we got the last site available and probably the best site in the campground! We loved it here! The office is very inviting from the outside and friendly on the inside. Some sites appeared to be a little closer than we prefer, but certainly doable. Our site was a little further away and offered more privacy. We were on an end site so there was no one on our left side. We backed up to a corn field and enjoyed the warm night, fire, full moon, quiet, and overall peaceful environment. The grounds are maintained and landscaped nicely and the restrooms are modern and super clean. All the other campers were friendly. This will be our first choice when in the Amish Country again. We stayed two nights. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in the past 3 years of being a full-timer. The personnel in the office was helpful and friendly. Out space was long and level and there is grass separating you from your neighbor. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table. It is quiet and conveniently located to many shopping areas and a theme park. Best of all they offer a twice daily free bus trip through Amish country. The guide knew her "stuff" and was fun to be with. There are three stops and it allows one to know where they might like to return. I will recommend this park to friends and we will stay here again.
