Very clean, very well managed and very nicely landscaped. Our 45' Motorhome easily navigated the interior gravel roads and the back in site. Plenty of site length and width, and reasonably spaced. Good cable service, the usual campground wifi and excellent AT&T cell service (4 bars). Tons of things to see and do all around. We really enjoyed this trip. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

This is the nicest campground that I've been to in Pennsylvania. The grounds were immaculate, the sites were very large. We were in the newer section and the trees were only about 12 feet tall. This was not an issue because we did not need shade. We had nice fall weather. We were there for the annual balloon fest, which is only about three miles away. Water pressure was good and the electric was very stable, friends that went with us said that the cable TV was good. My wife and I don't watch TV while camping. The sewer hookup was very convenient as well. Even though the campground was obviously in a hilly area, the individual sites were as level as I have ever seen. The store was small, but had all the necessities. Bathrooms were clean. They have a small dog park which was nice. Gave my dog a chance to run off leach. This campground is very conveniently located to the many attractions in the area. Excellent campground, I can't say enough about them. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this campground. My wife and I will be back. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful campground located about 100 ft. off Rt. 30. Very easy to find. Campground manager was awesome. Very kind and helpful. The grounds were immaculate- beautiful flowers, mowed and no trash anyway. The cable was good and so was the wifi. There is a gate to come into the campground so no unwanted guests. There is a nice small dog park so we could let our puppy run off his energy. The only down side that I had is the road noise from Rt. 30. There is nothing that they can really do about that. All the fellow campers were wonderful to visit with. We had site 823- very easy to back into and hook ups were very convenient- no extra cords/hoses needed. We would stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

So much to do and see in the area. Great farmers markets with fresh veggies, baked goods and meat. A woman and her daughter came through the campground selling wonderful baked goods.

We have a 26ft travel trailer. We could not find one bad site. The sites are very spacious. The bathrooms were always found to be spotless. The people in the office were always very polite. The campground is very pet friendly and we saw all campers cleaning up after their pets. The roads through out the campground are well maintain. The pool is great. We don't have any children with us but there are some playground equipment for them to play. My wife and I fell in love with this campground and all ready making plans to go back this September. This campground in our opinion is one of the best we have stayed at. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park was immaculate and the power and water strong. I had a 30 amp back in site and our new coach was 29.5 feet long and fit just fine with plenty of room to park the Jeep next to it. There is a biter of road noise but it is not bad. We were in the section with a great deal of trees and shade. Had cable TV so that was great. The other two sections where the big rigs were had little shade though we did have a cook out with our friends who were staying up there and the trees did give us some shade to sit under. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a 40 ft motorhome. Very wide and easy to navigate roads. Good Verizon signal. We were in site 934 which has poles on exit. Be sure to park a bit more to the right to clear the poles. We didn't and had to maneuver a bit. We had to put cutting boards under rear tires to get level but that worked. Nice staff and quiet area of the park. We would stay there again. Other reviews have covered the main points of this facility. This is definitely not a "resort" style campground. One modest swing/teeter totter area for the kids. Very, very nice zero depth entry swimming pool. Pricey, but on a par with all the other CG's in the area. Immaculately maintained, with very, very nice plantings throughout. Big rig areas have no tree cover, but sites are very large. We stayed almost two weeks, and it was a great central location as a base to tour the area. Tips for other Campers:

It is owned as part of a collection of motels, inns, restaurants etc. by a local Bird-n-Hand family. Included in the stay was a free 2 hr tour of Amish country, with a couple of stops at Amish stores, that departed from another facility about 5 miles away. A local Amish woman and daughter come by on Friday evenings pushing a cart selling homemade bakery items.

Great campground. Pretty views, clean, quiet. Site was very level. Stayed in site 828 which was on a hill and overlooked a nice field. Good grassy areas away from campers to walk your dog. The campground is convienent to many of the attractions in the Lancaster area. Management is friendly and welcoming. Campground is gated. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

This was our first stay at Country Acres. The park is well-groomed and immaculately clean - facilities & grounds. Staff business-like but courteous & professional. Sites in the #900 loop are for big rigs and there is no shade there. Sites from #801 through #820 border a trailer sales & service business; the noise from that was a bit bothersome at times as was road noise from Rt. 30 (primarily at night). There was NO noise from other campers! There are no planned activities and very little in the way of things to do for children outside of a small playground with swings, see-saws and a wooden train. This is an excellent base from which to tour the Lancaster County area rather than a destination campground. Most sites are level and all are in good condition with a healthy layer of crushed limestone. Interior roads the same. Campground store is small and stocked with mostly essentials and souvenir items. My only recommendation to management there would be to arrange for mowing and other maintenance to be done while sites are VACANT. The guy cutting grass came dangerously close to my power cord and insisted in cutting the grass in our site while we were sitting outside in it. Same thing was done to our neighbors. We will stay here again but will request a site away from the commercial zone. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground is located east of Lancaster and very close to the towns of Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, et. al, making it very easy to get to many of the Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish attractions. Don't miss the smorgasbord at Miller's, about a 5-minute drive west on Rt. 30. Strasburg Railroad & PA Railroad Museum are only about 15 minutes away, as is Dutch Wonderland. Allow extra time for travel if using Rt. 30 to go west in to Lancaster, as there are many traffic lights and lots of traffic.

This is an excellent, extremely clean campground with wide gravel roads, spacious gravel pads, and large well-maintained grassy areas between sites. We were in the upper loop which has only small trees, so we had no satellite issues. We had a back-in site (929) which was very easy to get into, and we were told this is the most requested space because it's in a corner. The site had a picnic table and fire pit and well-placed, convenient utilities. The wifi worked well, although we had to sign-on frequently. The campground is right in Amish country so there are many unique markets in the area and you are about an hour from Philadelphia. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground with a wonderful staff, place was very crowded seeing it was the first weekend open and everyone was ready to go camping. Will not fault the campground but some family's need to explain to their children rules of camping. Great grounds all hookups were great and nice level sites. Some noise from the main road but not really bad on the weekend I imagine during the week might be worse, great location for touring the Amish area. Plus a free Hershey bar at check in. This is by far the cleanest and friendliest staffed campground we stayed at this year. The grounds were well kept, the bathrooms were cleaned daily and overall the campers around us were quiet and well behaved. There were no problems with any of the hook ups, very good selection of cable channels and the WiFi actually worked well. The only suggestion that would make this campground any better would be to space out the sites somewhat more that what they are now. We did not use the pool because it was closed. We would definitively stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the best campgrounds in Lancaster County, PA! We ended up here after we stayed at another campground in the area, and chose to leave early, due to it being that bad! We were greeted by a warm staff, and found our site to be 100% perfect. This is a big rig park. Very easy to navigate. The location of this park is wonderful, with many attractions and dining options close by. Pool is wonderful (only one if ever seen with a zero depth entry!). This place is spic and span! Very nice park, and we cannot wait to return. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Large campground with many features. Wi-Fi signal looked strong but couldn't get computers connected. Phones got signal okay. Staffer said "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't." Site not level; left front wheel was 1 ¾" off ground; others in the 800s area also had wheels in the air. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.
