Easy and friendly check-in process. Electronic gate on our loop (but not all) which I like. Sites were spaced nicely on our loop. All utilities well placed and in good repair. Free WiFi worked well. Good location right on Highway 30. Some traffic noise but no issue with AC running. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

The large rig sites were wide and spacious. The best landscaped park we have ever stayed at. Close to all shopping and attractions around the Lancaster area. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Excellent park for visiting Lancaster. Friendly staff, clean facilities, well groomed grounds, roads and sites are gravel, level sites and spacious pull thru. Most of the sites are open with a few trees. Very good location to visit shops and site seeing. This campground is part of the Bird N Hand Corp. Verizon service was excellent. We would return again! Overall Rating:

This is an immaculate RVPark! The entrance is very convenient and the roads are packed gravel and are wide with no big trees to scrape your coach. The sites are very very spacious and easy to back into. The grass is lush and green with no weeds and is nicely cut. The front office is very nice with lovely landscaping. Out buildings are new. The pool wasn't open but it looked great! Even though the park backs on to a highway, it is buffered by homes and it was not an issue. Check-in was simple and very pleasant and the Hershey Choc Bar was a sweet touch. A very country like setting, quiet and fantastic for our Shelties. Excellent Wifi and satellite reception. Would highly recommend this park!! We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We Don't recommend Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Ride. They post the price as 10.00 each and when we were finished he charged us 25.00! The older Amish man who drove the buggy was cranky and miserable. The tour is two roads and then you are done! We Do recommend the chicken pot pies from Zooks in Ronks.

We visited for a weekend with our son and his partner. The campground is very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The new bathrooms near the pool were SPECTACULAR. The pool was not open yet but looked lovely - will return for it! We liked the free VIP program option and look forward to staying nine nights for a free breakfast. The VIP card we got was also good for discounts at various local businesses. And - the free Hershey bar for joining was awesome on our S'Mores. We find sites 850 and 851 to be great to set up space in the between to be close to each other. There was some road noise from route 30 but nothing horrible. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful park, very clean and well kept also a great staff. They added a new building near the pool which will be a great addition, looked like a counter service that will probably be opened when the pool is and a nice big room for events. The only thing they could improve on would be to widen the mouth of the sites a little so you do not back over the grass. We will return. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rude. Rude. Rude. This is a great park and deserves a much higher rating except for one staff member. She is undoubtedly the rudest person we have met after over 150,000 miles in our motor home. Never, never have I met a service person go out of their way to make check in disagreeable. I am not alone in my opinion. I walked up to a group of 8 or 10 as they were bellyaching about her as well. Enjoy the area. Stay away from this lady. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 7 nights. We were charged $51.30 for Sun-Thurs and $54.90 for Fri & Sat. No tax. No discounts. Average nightly rate for the week was $52.33. Reservation process was easy. They didn't require an upfront deposit which is always appreciated. Check-in was efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Never was anyone remotely rude. They were kind enough to receive packages for us. We were in the "lower" section closer to Route 30. There is some highway noise as Route 30 is highly traveled both day and night however it didn't bother us. The campground is well laid out and immaculately maintained. Our site was very large and level. All hook-ups worked perfectly. We were able to obtain Verizon cell, Verizon mifi and DirecTV signals. We enjoyed our time at this park and would be happy to stay again. Hot tip - there is a lovely Amish lady and her daughter who visit the CG on Friday afternoons (if I recall correctly). Their baked goods were better than any we purchased elsewhere around town. Splurge with them. You won't regret it! We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Take in a show at Sight & Sound Theater. It's not cheap but some days/shows are less expensive. Check the schedule and price list. Ride a bike (or electric-bike) through the beautiful countryside. Intercourse Bikeworks offers guided tours or, for a $2 fee, you can buy a user-friendly cue sheet and do a self-guided tour (which is what we did using our own bikes). Allow about an hour to drive to Hershey from the campground.

This is a beautiful campground located about 100 ft. off Rt. 30. Very easy to find. Campground manager was awesome. Very kind and helpful. The grounds were immaculate- beautiful flowers, mowed and no trash anyway. The cable was good and so was the wifi. There is a gate to come into the campground so no unwanted guests. There is a nice small dog park so we could let our puppy run off his energy. The only down side that I had is the road noise from Rt. 30. There is nothing that they can really do about that. All the fellow campers were wonderful to visit with. We had site 823- very easy to back into and hook ups were very convenient- no extra cords/hoses needed. We would stay here again. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the nicest campground that I've been to in Pennsylvania. The grounds were immaculate, the sites were very large. We were in the newer section and the trees were only about 12 feet tall. This was not an issue because we did not need shade. We had nice fall weather. We were there for the annual balloon fest, which is only about three miles away. Water pressure was good and the electric was very stable, friends that went with us said that the cable TV was good. My wife and I don't watch TV while camping. The sewer hookup was very convenient as well. Even though the campground was obviously in a hilly area, the individual sites were as level as I have ever seen. The store was small, but had all the necessities. Bathrooms were clean. They have a small dog park which was nice. Gave my dog a chance to run off leach. This campground is very conveniently located to the many attractions in the area. Excellent campground, I can't say enough about them. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this campground. My wife and I will be back. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean, very well managed and very nicely landscaped. Our 45' Motorhome easily navigated the interior gravel roads and the back in site. Plenty of site length and width, and reasonably spaced. Good cable service, the usual campground wifi and excellent AT&T cell service (4 bars). Tons of things to see and do all around. We really enjoyed this trip. We have a 26ft travel trailer. We could not find one bad site. The sites are very spacious. The bathrooms were always found to be spotless. The people in the office were always very polite. The campground is very pet friendly and we saw all campers cleaning up after their pets. The roads through out the campground are well maintain. The pool is great. We don't have any children with us but there are some playground equipment for them to play. My wife and I fell in love with this campground and all ready making plans to go back this September. This campground in our opinion is one of the best we have stayed at. We camped at Country Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Other reviews have covered the main points of this facility. This is definitely not a "resort" style campground. One modest swing/teeter totter area for the kids. Very, very nice zero depth entry swimming pool. Pricey, but on a par with all the other CG's in the area. Immaculately maintained, with very, very nice plantings throughout. Big rig areas have no tree cover, but sites are very large. We stayed almost two weeks, and it was a great central location as a base to tour the area. Tips for other Campers:

It is owned as part of a collection of motels, inns, restaurants etc. by a local Bird-n-Hand family. Included in the stay was a free 2 hr tour of Amish country, with a couple of stops at Amish stores, that departed from another facility about 5 miles away. A local Amish woman and daughter come by on Friday evenings pushing a cart selling homemade bakery items.

We stayed in a 40 ft motorhome. Very wide and easy to navigate roads. Good Verizon signal. We were in site 934 which has poles on exit. Be sure to park a bit more to the right to clear the poles. We didn't and had to maneuver a bit. We had to put cutting boards under rear tires to get level but that worked. Nice staff and quiet area of the park. We would stay there again. The park was immaculate and the power and water strong. I had a 30 amp back in site and our new coach was 29.5 feet long and fit just fine with plenty of room to park the Jeep next to it. There is a biter of road noise but it is not bad. We were in the section with a great deal of trees and shade. Had cable TV so that was great. The other two sections where the big rigs were had little shade though we did have a cook out with our friends who were staying up there and the trees did give us some shade to sit under.
