1 Park near Hesston, Pennsylvania
Oct 2015 - $14.00
There are really six different campgrounds in this large recreation area, each with their own restrooms/ showers and 'flavor'. (Point, Valley and Bay CG were closed during our visit.)
We stayed near the water in Senoia Camp with 30A power because we wanted the water view.
Excellent sized sites, most with plenty of room for our three slide-outs.
No water hookups at any sites in the CG. But we were able to put two hoses together and refill our fresh water tank without having to move the trailer.
Absolute no cell service - ATT or Verizon. No local TV. We were able to hit a hole in the trees and get Dish.
Great hiking trails all around the rec area. Nice looking swim beach - which we didn't use in October in low-40s temps. - PawPaw
Sep 2015 - $28.00
Stayed in the Point Loop nearest shower house. Very nice level sites carved into the hilly loop! Best view sites are near the bottom of the loop where you can park your boat or wade right out into the water. Our site was a hundred feet above the water. If you are not a mountain biker leave it at home. Great hiking trails with special textured paths. (Soft). Boating is the main activity here. Fall foliage must be awesome! Compared to Deep Creek lake this one is mostly state park land instead of private boat docks lining the lake. - Camper Steve

We have camped here 3 years in a row in August. Everyone we've dealt with is friendly and helpful. We have always been in the Ridge camp, further from the lake but closer to the Allegrippis trails which is why we selected it. The beach is great, bathhouses at the beach and campground loop are clean for the most part. Avoid sites 7 and 30-43 with a big rig. That spur is one lane and very tight. The rest of the loop is no problem at 60' combined length. Most sites in this loop are partial to full shade, and have plenty of room with level pads. We'll likely not make it this year but will be back. I wish there were more Army Corps campgrounds nearby! - ferguson65
