From Hwy 11, a very steep climb to the campground entrance; dated campground. Staff was very friendly. Very nice swimming pool, however the walk to the pool from the campsite passes by two large, open trash bins and open gravel pits. Overall, campground around the office area is unsightly. Bathhouse very clean; showers very nice. Stayed in W19, very small. Verizon reception: 1-2 bars (fair). Very good OTA TV reception, all three major networks. Wi-Fi at the office; had tables to sit down and shade. Not bicycle friendly. Laundry - wash $1.50; dryer $1.00. Dryers were aged. Would not stay here again. We camped at Shore Forest Campground in a Motorhome.

Six miles off the interstate and we had to stop and ask for instructions. Kind of tight getting to our campsite. Our 5th wheel is 39 feet long. Once we got to the site though it was pretty nice. Some seasonals but they kept their sites beautifully landscaped. Cable reception was good. Quiet that night. Again, it was just a little scary getting in and out because of the length of our rig, but the space we stayed in was excellent, everything worked. We camped at Shore Forest Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The directions to the park take you down some really narrow, really bumpy, country roads which are tough for any size class A to negotiate. There is another way in which is better for RV's. The park is more of a weekend destination for locals as there are more seasonal rentals than campers stopping by. The bathrooms were clean, but in need of updating. Showers are pay. The "lake" is a pond and definitely not something you would want to be camped near during the summer. We camped at Shore Forest Campground in a Tent Trailer.
