When we first pulled up, we were thinking, oh dear, what have we done as we had already had a reservation. It's a funny looking little park and the sites, seem to kind of go helter skelter. Then when they escorted us to our spot, there was another moment of, oh dear. It seemed to be that we would be parked in the middle of a road. But he explained to us that it was the last spot on that road so there was no one that would be coming down that way. We were still a little confused about the whole thing, but we honkered down to set up. There was a nice concrete patio there as well. Well the spot was dead on level, cable worked fine, water and hydro also, although the water pressure was quite low, but it worked. Internet was a tad slow but acceptable. Then when we took a good look around the place we noticed how pretty it was and how pretty it would be in the summer. As this is one of the very last camping spots before you reach the Ontario/Kingston border, the RV's were arriving left, right and centre. We would certainly stay here again, nice little campground. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Good store. Food delivered to you door 7am-9pm. Gravel roads and sites. Gravel needs to be thicker on roads to keep dust down. It is March and the trees and bushes are bare, but I bet this place is quite lovely in the late spring and summer. Ask if you can have a spot by the creek if you fit. Nice creek. They are adding more spots for tents. Tenting is in a separate area. Lots to do for the kids. Call ahead if possible. We stayed two nights and it was empty during the day but early full each night. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

~ 20 minutes away is Hershey Chocolate World, car museum, and Chocolate Museum. Yum!

Long gravel pull-thru sites with concrete patio with picnic table. Originally booked Jonestown AOK based on RV Park Review ratings, but did not stay there and ended up here. This park is hands-down far better than the other park for only a couple dollars more than the Good Sam rate. We generally do not stay in KOA parks. We are glad we did today. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was an overnight stop for us on our way to Florida. The park was nearly empty, but that's not surprising in January. We just really appreciate that they're open year round! The staff is friendly and the facilities are well maintained. The guide to our site was polite and informative, without unnecessarily trying to over control our parking. The on-site deli/camp store is extensive, and the hot food on their menu is delicious on a cold night. They deliver to your site as well. The WiFi is adequate with reasonable speeds, but I don't know how it is when the park is busier. Verizon cell service is strong, and their cable system has a good variety of channels. We most certainly will be back! We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is right off of I-81 and is a terrific transient stopping place. We saw many campers come in for the night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were guided to our site. One of the best features is the camp general store. At this time of year they are open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In addition to being a good convenience and camp store they have a short order kitchen and provide site delivery. Nice touch.

As stated, it is very close to I-81 and there is quite a bit of road noise. Although, there may be attractions in the area, i do not see this campground as a destination in itself.

We will continue to use this as a transient site. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a typical KOA looking a little worn around the edges. Interior road is dirt and gravel and big rig access is average. We had an escort to our level spacious gravel and dirt pull through site which had plenty of space for our towed. The site had a concrete patio, picnic table and swing. No satellite reception due to many matureI'm trees, WiFi and cell were fair, however there is some road noise. Bathrooms were spotless and the laundry clean spacious and well equipped. Pet friendly with a fenced dog park, doggie bags and disposal station. This is a good overnight stop when traveling 1-81, and we would stay here again. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Very pleasant campground with spacious sites. Ours had a view of a horse corral which we walked over to pet the horses.

Also neat was food delivery to your site from the general store. Very inexpensive. They have sandwiches and sides which were yummy: fried pickles, onion rings, jalapeño poppers.

Camped here on Labor Day and was very quiet. Nice stopover as it is easy off & on from I81. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Just an overnight stay. Escorted to the site. Asked for and they changed me to one that would allow satellite reception. They have a great camp store and serve rotisserie chicken at dinner (I smelled it at checkin, smelled great, but had other plans). Also had breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito that was delicious and inexpensive. Site was pull through and roomy. There is a creek running along one side of the camp. I could see staying a few days here. I didn't hear any noise from the freeway. Truck stop right off the freeway for fueling. About 20 minutes to Harrisburg. They also have a shuttle to HersheyPark. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a good park for overnight stops only, this is not a destination campground. There is no pool or mini golf. They do have a very small splash pad and jumping pillow, only suitable for very young kids. These were extra and not included in your site price. Most kids would be bored. They do offer canoe rentals, which is all there would be to do. Wi-Fi was decent and store had a lot to offer. Site was level and power was good, but water pressure was very low, almost a trickle by the time we left. A few cable stations were available. We would not stay again unless in the area and needed to stop overnight. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

First time stay at a "Journey KOA" right off I-81. Someone escorted us to site. Restaurant and store very convenient. Dog park clean and fenced in. Only stayed one night so site was near road. But for future reference there is a lovely creek with tubing and canoes onside of campground. If we were staying longer, would have asked for site for lovely, restful views. Fast food restaurant right across street as well as gas station. Pleasant surprise staying here. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Kids can fish, tube, canoe, kayak with rentals on site. Otherwise, convenient on/off access to I-81. Got food from Wendy's across street as well as camp store. Made travel easy.

Very easy access despite construction in the area. Friendly young office staff. We were escorted to our pull-through site, which was one of the easiest in and out I've seen. Wi-Fi OK, but not great. AT&T cell service good. After we parked and I was getting hooked up, two workers arrived and surveyed the trees for low hanging branches. They trimmed back a couple small ones that they felt could be a problem. We plan to stay here again on our return trip. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Young but helpful, courteous and competent staff. Great camp store. Campground is easy on/off for route 81. Roads are gravel, but the sites we like best are right by the creek, and have a concrete patio. Great place to relax, check out the close by state parks, or look at the military equipment at Fort Indiantown Gap. Our family loves the place for a getaway. Quick trip from the park to Hershey area too. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

They rent canoes, kayaks and tubes to use on the creek. There is a "Splash Pad" for little kids, but no pool. If you really want to take a dip, Fort Indiantown base offers public access to their pool! If you want to do Lake fishing/boating - Memorial Lake State Park. For good BBQ, - Shakedown BBQ not far from the Campground - Great Pork, Brisket and Chicken in Grantville. Breakfast - Farmer's Wife Restaurant. Friday Nights - check out Linda's Speedway for dirt track, down-home racing fun!

This is a very nice campground with easy access from I-81. The streets and pads are gravel, and there are a lot of tall trees, although we had no issue with satellite. The streets and turns are a little tight, but our escort to the sight (the owner, I think) was very helpful and suggested backing out of our site into an open field as an alternative to "pulling through" when we left. We will definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.
