We stayed here for 4 days with grandchildren. The park is clean, with easy access off I-81. Utilities were centrally located and everything functioned well. While there was no pool, there was a splash pad that the grandkids loved and a nice playground (right across the street from us). The attendant escorting me to my site took me down the wrong road and then brought me back around on a road with a turn I could not make. I had to do some creative backing (with no assistance) to get out to a parking lot I could turn around in. Otherwise everything was OK - typical KOA. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We were looking for a place to stop overnight but were surprised that we were not at the KOA that we were trying to find. As it turns out this was a very nice quiet park with the tranquil Swatara creek running along side the campsites. This is a good place to rest for a night or two but there wasn't much to do at the campground except swim, fish or canoe in the creek. I'm sure for some that would be a great way to spend an entire vacation. Our camp site was fairly spacious but the layout of the campground seemed to be confusing. It was good that all the RV's were not lined up like trucks in a parking lot. The restrooms and showers, although far away from our site, were clean and usable. The WIFI and TV worked well. A staff person brought us to our site which we always appreciate. There is a snack bar with chicken and sandwiches with delivery service to your camp site. We would choose this KOA if we pass through the Jonestown area again. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

After a long day on backed-up Interstates under construction in the rain, it was a big relief to pull in here and find a site available even at a higher price than we normally pay for an overnight stopover. There aren't too many options in this part of Pennsylvania and the price reflects amenities we did not need like a free shuttle to Hershey Park. We were led by golf cart to a site parallel to the river with a concrete pad, and phoned in an order for the campground store's fried chicken along with a few bananas. A nice young staffer brought it to our site just as a heavy rain began falling. Even though the chicken was dried out and the bananas were way past their prime, we were happy to be tucked in for the night and enjoyed a good night's sleep. Took advantage of the dog park while here. Some sites might be noisy where trucks roll across a bridge next to the campground. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Bathrooms not very clean, but didn't care. I use my RV. Maybe that's what they expect.

Laundry room absolutely filthy. Tables dirty, tops of all machines dirty, 2 out of order.

This is a good transient campground, do not spend too much time here. We travel, and do our laundry every 4 or 5 days. Next time we will not do it here.

Store and food okay, a lot better if there were not so many young workers, at least 6 running around the kitchen, and store area. Perhaps a couple of these young people should clean the laundry and rest rooms. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

When we first pulled up, we were thinking, oh dear, what have we done as we had already had a reservation. It's a funny looking little park and the sites, seem to kind of go helter skelter. Then when they escorted us to our spot, there was another moment of, oh dear. It seemed to be that we would be parked in the middle of a road. But he explained to us that it was the last spot on that road so there was no one that would be coming down that way. We were still a little confused about the whole thing, but we honkered down to set up. There was a nice concrete patio there as well. Well the spot was dead on level, cable worked fine, water and hydro also, although the water pressure was quite low, but it worked. Internet was a tad slow but acceptable. Then when we took a good look around the place we noticed how pretty it was and how pretty it would be in the summer. As this is one of the very last camping spots before you reach the Ontario/Kingston border, the RV's were arriving left, right and centre. We would certainly stay here again, nice little campground. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Good store. Food delivered to you door 7am-9pm. Gravel roads and sites. Gravel needs to be thicker on roads to keep dust down. It is March and the trees and bushes are bare, but I bet this place is quite lovely in the late spring and summer. Ask if you can have a spot by the creek if you fit. Nice creek. They are adding more spots for tents. Tenting is in a separate area. Lots to do for the kids. Call ahead if possible. We stayed two nights and it was empty during the day but early full each night. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Long gravel pull-thru sites with concrete patio with picnic table. Originally booked Jonestown AOK based on RV Park Review ratings, but did not stay there and ended up here. This park is hands-down far better than the other park for only a couple dollars more than the Good Sam rate. We generally do not stay in KOA parks. We are glad we did today. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was an overnight stop for us on our way to Florida. The park was nearly empty, but that's not surprising in January. We just really appreciate that they're open year round! The staff is friendly and the facilities are well maintained. The guide to our site was polite and informative, without unnecessarily trying to over control our parking. The on-site deli/camp store is extensive, and the hot food on their menu is delicious on a cold night. They deliver to your site as well. The WiFi is adequate with reasonable speeds, but I don't know how it is when the park is busier. Verizon cell service is strong, and their cable system has a good variety of channels. We most certainly will be back! We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is right off of I-81 and is a terrific transient stopping place. We saw many campers come in for the night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were guided to our site. One of the best features is the camp general store. At this time of year they are open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In addition to being a good convenience and camp store they have a short order kitchen and provide site delivery. Nice touch.

As stated, it is very close to I-81 and there is quite a bit of road noise. Although, there may be attractions in the area, i do not see this campground as a destination in itself.

We will continue to use this as a transient site. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a typical KOA looking a little worn around the edges. Interior road is dirt and gravel and big rig access is average. We had an escort to our level spacious gravel and dirt pull through site which had plenty of space for our towed. The site had a concrete patio, picnic table and swing. No satellite reception due to many matureI'm trees, WiFi and cell were fair, however there is some road noise. Bathrooms were spotless and the laundry clean spacious and well equipped. Pet friendly with a fenced dog park, doggie bags and disposal station. This is a good overnight stop when traveling 1-81, and we would stay here again. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Very pleasant campground with spacious sites. Ours had a view of a horse corral which we walked over to pet the horses.

Also neat was food delivery to your site from the general store. Very inexpensive. They have sandwiches and sides which were yummy: fried pickles, onion rings, jalapeño poppers.

Camped here on Labor Day and was very quiet. Nice stopover as it is easy off & on from I81. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Just an overnight stay. Escorted to the site. Asked for and they changed me to one that would allow satellite reception. They have a great camp store and serve rotisserie chicken at dinner (I smelled it at checkin, smelled great, but had other plans). Also had breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito that was delicious and inexpensive. Site was pull through and roomy. There is a creek running along one side of the camp. I could see staying a few days here. I didn't hear any noise from the freeway. Truck stop right off the freeway for fueling. About 20 minutes to Harrisburg. They also have a shuttle to HersheyPark. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a good park for overnight stops only, this is not a destination campground. There is no pool or mini golf. They do have a very small splash pad and jumping pillow, only suitable for very young kids. These were extra and not included in your site price. Most kids would be bored. They do offer canoe rentals, which is all there would be to do. Wi-Fi was decent and store had a lot to offer. Site was level and power was good, but water pressure was very low, almost a trickle by the time we left. A few cable stations were available. We would not stay again unless in the area and needed to stop overnight. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.
