Good sized sites, easy access from highway. Great for overnight stay. Good value. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Very nice park. The camp store is very complete, nice food selection at very reasonable prices. They escort you to your site. Sites we were on were very long (87,88,89) and had some privacy. Water splash park for kids. Convenient to Hershey but away from all the traffic. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Showers were about the worst we've ever seen in a KOA. None of the three in the men's room worked at all. One of three in the women's bathroom, and it was filthy from overuse. We couldn't wait to get out of there and wouldn't return. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Easy on/off from I-81 and close enough to Hershey and Harrisburg to make for a logical stop. However, the premium sites are not laid out properly (patio and utilities do not line up as they should. Gravel roads and sites so there is a lot of dust. OK for a few nights. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Rate included KOA discount. Campground very convenient for those traveling I-81. Very shaded and the trees often make traversing the grounds in a large motorhome cumbersome. Water pressure was low, and use of the Internet was a challenge - slow. The roads within the campground were packed gravel, but I suspect had there been rain, they would have been quite muddy. The front office staff was very helpful and efficient. Had a nice dog park. Would likely return if in the area. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $44.00
First time at the park. Not too many sites for a large motorhome with a tow. You have to watch out for the trees as you drive through the park. They had some young workers that escort you to your site. Not a lot of room between sites. Most people were there for a night as they were heading north after spending the winter down south. Probably would not return. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $32.00
Rate reflects our KOA card discount. We stayed overnight on our way south to Florida in January, with temps in the teens and snow on the ground, so I can't really speak to the overall appearance or condition of the sites. Our pull-thru site was level though, with easy in and out access. We were escorted to our site by one of the friendly staff. The hook ups were well placed, and we had a concrete patio that would have been more appreciated in warmer weather. The camp store is well stocked with RV supplies and food items, and the snack bar offers a nice selection of sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, etc, all at very reasonable prices. Our Verizon data and voice service was solid, so we did not use the campground WiFi. We will definitely stop here again, hopefully in better weather. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $45.00
We stayed here on both ways to our trip to Lk Placid, NY. Easy on/off freeway, and friendly staff. Escort to site, clean, concrete patios, and plenty of space for RV. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Just stopped for an overnight but were very pleased with this RV park. Easy access to I-81, nice store with large porch where obviously guests like to meet and greet and just sit and relax. We were escorted to our site that was large enough so we didn't have to disconnect. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $34.00
We stopped here on our way home from a long trip and just needed a place to sleep. We were pleasantly surprised with this campground. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the sites were long and level and we did not need to disconnect truck from the trailer. Their camp store is full of whatever you may need. They have a nice little deli and will make you sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. Very reasonably priced. To look around throughout the park, there are flowers everywhere. Behind us was an old metal bed frame filled with begonias. On a wooden fence wall were lots of painted old tires brimming with plants and vines. We would like to return some day and spend a few days here. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Easy off/on I-81. Good overnight spot, clean and well maintained. Gravel roads/grass and concrete patios at all sites. Nice friendly staff, restaurant on site with decent camp store. We would certainly stay there again. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo

Like most KOAs, this one is next to the interstate so there is 24/7 road noise. The access through the park was on good, gravel roads. The level sites are a combination of grass and gravel with a concrete patio, table, and fire ring. The space between sites is a bit more than most KOAs, but would not be considered spacious. There are some sites along the river that parallels the park. Previous reviewers have marked it as a stream, but it is absolutely a river. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent at the office. It doubles as a general store/restaurant. It isn't fine dining, but the menu has many items and they are reasonably priced. Cable has 20 or so channels and you can get a dozen OTA channels. Satellite would depend on the site because of trees. Free Wi-Fi was 5 bars, but I was in the front of the park. 3G Verizon was good. The bath house was above average. The park was full so I ended up with a 30A site. The voltage was on the low end of the scale and would not support two major appliances at the same time. I downgraded for the lack of that basic amenity. Other amenities include a nice playground for the kiddos and an arcade for the teens. There is a separate tent area in the back of the park. Cost is an average of our four day stay which includes a week-end. They charge more for the week-end. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.Undo

This cg USED to be "LICKDALE", now joined the KOA. And the "original" KOA is now a private "Jonestown Campground" located a few miles away. This became a KOA around April 2013, some of the "Lickdale" signage within the cg is still here. Half updated, still a work in progress. Staff is friendly and professional. Good 50 AMP, good water and 25 "cable" stations. Good on-site store/restaurant and they will bring dinner to your site. The roads need improving, drive slow, lots of ruts. Sites are level. No pool, but one can swim(?) and canoe in the stream that runs alongside. Typical of KOA, a "easy on/easy off" an interstate (I-81). Some long term sites. Will visit again.
