This is a good park for overnight stops only, this is not a destination campground. There is no pool or mini golf. They do have a very small splash pad and jumping pillow, only suitable for very young kids. These were extra and not included in your site price. Most kids would be bored. They do offer canoe rentals, which is all there would be to do. Wi-Fi was decent and store had a lot to offer. Site was level and power was good, but water pressure was very low, almost a trickle by the time we left. A few cable stations were available. We would not stay again unless in the area and needed to stop overnight. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Travel Trailer.

First time stay at a "Journey KOA" right off I-81. Someone escorted us to site. Restaurant and store very convenient. Dog park clean and fenced in. Only stayed one night so site was near road. But for future reference there is a lovely creek with tubing and canoes onside of campground. If we were staying longer, would have asked for site for lovely, restful views. Fast food restaurant right across street as well as gas station. Pleasant surprise staying here. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Kids can fish, tube, canoe, kayak with rentals on site. Otherwise, convenient on/off access to I-81. Got food from Wendy's across street as well as camp store. Made travel easy.

Very easy access despite construction in the area. Friendly young office staff. We were escorted to our pull-through site, which was one of the easiest in and out I've seen. Wi-Fi OK, but not great. AT&T cell service good. After we parked and I was getting hooked up, two workers arrived and surveyed the trees for low hanging branches. They trimmed back a couple small ones that they felt could be a problem. We plan to stay here again on our return trip. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Young but helpful, courteous and competent staff. Great camp store. Campground is easy on/off for route 81. Roads are gravel, but the sites we like best are right by the creek, and have a concrete patio. Great place to relax, check out the close by state parks, or look at the military equipment at Fort Indiantown Gap. Our family loves the place for a getaway. Quick trip from the park to Hershey area too. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

They rent canoes, kayaks and tubes to use on the creek. There is a "Splash Pad" for little kids, but no pool. If you really want to take a dip, Fort Indiantown base offers public access to their pool! If you want to do Lake fishing/boating - Memorial Lake State Park. For good BBQ, - Shakedown BBQ not far from the Campground - Great Pork, Brisket and Chicken in Grantville. Breakfast - Farmer's Wife Restaurant. Friday Nights - check out Linda's Speedway for dirt track, down-home racing fun!

This is a very nice campground with easy access from I-81. The streets and pads are gravel, and there are a lot of tall trees, although we had no issue with satellite. The streets and turns are a little tight, but our escort to the sight (the owner, I think) was very helpful and suggested backing out of our site into an open field as an alternative to "pulling through" when we left. We will definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Roads were dusty and the hookups need upgrading. We paid for a pull through along the stream but most of the pull throughs required you to back in due to the location of the hookups and trees. The staff was helpful and the location is good for those traveling on I-81 or I-78. We would stay here again but would not pay extra for a pull through. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This year-round park is a regular overnite stop for us on our January post holiday trek south. The facilities are well maintained, and the staff in the combined office, general store, and deli are friendly and helpful. The sites are fairly large and well laid out, with the utilities well placed. Verizon cell voice and date service is strong. Many sites are surrounded by tall trees, making satellite use difficult unless you request one of the sites with a clear view as we do. The park cable service is good though, with the usual compliment of channels. We fully expect we'll return to this park again and again. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We love the fried chicken from the park deli! The Hess gas station next door to the park usually has one of the lowest prices in the area, although big rig access is somewhat limited.

We stayed here 4 years ago before they became a KOA. They were good then and are great now. Good WiFi, friendly staff, and easy access to sites. Even with the cold, it was a great stay. Would highly recommend for overnight or longer stay. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate included KOA discount. Campground very convenient for those traveling I-81. Very shaded and the trees often make traversing the grounds in a large motorhome cumbersome. Water pressure was low, and use of the Internet was a challenge - slow. The roads within the campground were packed gravel, but I suspect had there been rain, they would have been quite muddy. The front office staff was very helpful and efficient. Had a nice dog park. Would likely return if in the area. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy on/off from I-81 and close enough to Hershey and Harrisburg to make for a logical stop. However, the premium sites are not laid out properly (patio and utilities do not line up as they should. Gravel roads and sites so there is a lot of dust. OK for a few nights. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Showers were about the worst we've ever seen in a KOA. None of the three in the men's room worked at all. One of three in the women's bathroom, and it was filthy from overuse. We couldn't wait to get out of there and wouldn't return. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. The camp store is very complete, nice food selection at very reasonable prices. They escort you to your site. Sites we were on were very long (87,88,89) and had some privacy. Water splash park for kids. Convenient to Hershey but away from all the traffic. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

First time at the park. Not too many sites for a large motorhome with a tow. You have to watch out for the trees as you drive through the park. They had some young workers that escort you to your site. Not a lot of room between sites. Most people were there for a night as they were heading north after spending the winter down south. Probably would not return. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects our KOA card discount. We stayed overnight on our way south to Florida in January, with temps in the teens and snow on the ground, so I can't really speak to the overall appearance or condition of the sites. Our pull-thru site was level though, with easy in and out access. We were escorted to our site by one of the friendly staff. The hook ups were well placed, and we had a concrete patio that would have been more appreciated in warmer weather. The camp store is well stocked with RV supplies and food items, and the snack bar offers a nice selection of sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, etc, all at very reasonable prices. Our Verizon data and voice service was solid, so we did not use the campground WiFi. We will definitely stop here again, hopefully in better weather. We camped at Jonestown KOA in a Motorhome.
