Back-in site. Level, but kind of close to neighbor. First site I was on the power was not enough to run the air conditioner. No problem as we moved to next site over. Internet wasn't useful at all, especially when CG filled up. If noise doesn't bother you, this is the place, as you get road noise from old rte. 22 and Interstate 78. Due all to this noise, I'd probably look elsewhere if in the area again. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice campground convenient to I-78. Decent space between sites. Cable TV is decent cable TV, wifi at the end away from the office is poor. I was there with a small rally and several of us had trouble maintaining 120v electrical service. No issues with water and sewer. Our site wasn't level, but manageable. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Setting is next door to a horse farm and down the road from a couple of wineries. There's a terrific meat market/smokehouse down the road. Wonderful steaks and chops and terrific smoked meats, sausage etc.

These cleanest park we've stayed at. The hosts are personable, friendly and very knowledgeable about local attractions. No long term residents is a big plus. Large sites bordered with well groomed grass on both sides (may be 10 feet in width and as long as your site). Most sites are fairly levels. Good sand play ground and putt-putt golf. Dogs are welcome, no dog run but two large grassed areas that can run in. We were delighted with this park. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Located in the country side, with a back drop of a very clean horse barn next door. Two excellent meat parks very close, one with the best bacon and summer sausage I have ever had (Peters Meat Market) the other specializes in smoked meats, both have awesome fresh cuts.

A nice park, nothing special. The laundry bath and shower are all combined and very hot in the women's. Very well kept park with nice open spaces for kids and dogs to run. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thorpe (45 min). Easy off the highway but due to the proximity to the highway, that's your view and it comes along with the noise. The park is luscious green and clean. The bathroom is a bit of a hike from the back of the park and the trash is also located by the bathroom so neither are very convenient. There were small trash cans for doggie bags so at least there's that. The sites are level and crushed gravel. Besides walking around the park, there are no hiking or biking trails. The sites were pretty close together with a bit of a parking lot feel but not super small. There was enough room to sit out and enjoy yourself. The staff that checked us in was friendly but there's a full time worker here that rides around on his lawn mower or golf cart all day. He literally did a drive by through our site with his mower while we were sitting there trying to enjoy a beer. He went back and forth multiple times, kicking up grass on us, missed the dogs by about 6 inches. It was rude and completely uncalled for. 50 amp FHU was strong with excellent cable channels. The wifi was actually usable and remained reliable throughout our stay regardless of what time of day it was. Hot spots were also good. Verizon at 28d/l and ATT at 40 d/l unboosted. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

We booked last minute and were surprised we were able to get a site over Memorial Day weekend. As expected for a holiday weekend, the park was full, but surprisingly quiet. Sites are very tight, and if it wasn't for the field we were backed up to, it would have felt claustrophobic. Our site was only 30A, but that's because we booked so late. 50A is available in the park. It was hot so most folks had their AC running constantly, but there was no issue with power. The campground is convenient to I-80 and we would stay here again on an overnight, but given how tight the sites were, not sure we'd be back for a longer stay. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Located near Route 78, this campground is "big rig" friendly. We have a 45' motorhome and can get around this campground fairly easily. Sites are gravel and usually easy to get level on. Grassy areas are between sites with a tree or two between. The owners are friendly and helpful. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed October 2017 This is a beautiful park that reflects the incredible job the owners have done in maintaining it. The sites are roomy and mostly level, nothing that levelers can't compensate for. The setting is farmland with a horse facility to the far end across a large grassy area. While I found the overnight rate to be a little high, there was definitely value in the setting and reliability of the services. The hookups were conveniently located and worked without incident. The location is easy to get to. Even though it is close to the hwy, very little traffic noise is heard. Would stay here again. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is kept clean and was a great location for an overnight stay. It is right on the highway and it was noisy, all night. The site was nice enough. The bath house was clean, it was odd to have the washer and dryer in the bathroom. There is a play area, but no pool. The electric service was good. A little expensive based on location/amenities, but we would stay here again. We camped in a 5th wheel. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Well maintained park with virtually all pull through sites. Neat as a pin. Very convenient to I-78. The gravel interior roads were well maintained but a bit narrow in places. Inspect your site before you drive to it for length if you're just stopping for the night w/o unhooking a tow vehicle. The views of the valley were gorgeous and though we we could see the interstate, it was very quiet. Management was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. As others have said, this is a beautiful RV park with some beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The grass is well tended and the whole park is very clean and well maintained. No pool or other amenities for children. We stayed for a week and would have received a one day free stay had we committed to six nights when we checked in, but because we only committed to two days at the start, we did not qualify for the free night. There is no trash pickup, and only one dumpster, near the park entrance, for trash to be deposited. Our site was close to entrance so it was not a big deal for us, but had we been toward the rear of the park it would have been a nuisance. Free wifi, but weak and not very satisfactory. If we return to the Allentown area we could stay here again. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I originally booked a month's stay because of the proximity to Philadelphia and Lancaster County. I was very happy at the $700 monthly rate. However, when we arrived, I found out that I didn't read the fine print and the $700 rate was only if you booked two months or more, so our month's stay ended up being over $1100, which I would not have paid for if I'd known. The campground was clean, but the sites were too close together. All sites were gravel and some grass. But the grassy area was only about six feet wide before you were up against the neighbor's sewer connection. Our satellite went out while we were there. Once we replaced it, we couldn't get a connection because of the trees near our campsite. we asked if we could move one row over. This was Tuesday BEFORE Memorial Day. We were told absolutely not until after Memorial Day because all sites were booked. This was confusing because when you make a reservation, you were not guaranteed a site, so moving would not have caused anyone to lose their reservation. But still, we had to wait for another week to try out the replacement satellite. We explained that if it didn't work, we would not have enough time left to get another replacement, but it didn't matter. The answer was no. They kept the grass strips well mowed. After they moved our sign off the grass, we moved it onto the gravel. They still knocked it over and just left it there. There was no reason for it to be knocked over. They brought us a fire ring and we were told not to move it from where they had it. Water was well and pressure was low. Water came out of the spigot rusty. Cell phone reception was almost non existent and wifi was super slow. Next to the interstate. Small things, but they created a bad feeling overall. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night on our trip back from Maine. Very clean, well kept campground. On a hill bordering on i78. Easy on and off. They are doing work on exit 40. We used 45 and it was fine. Next to a farm. Long pull through fairly level gravel site with nicely placed water and sewer. Accommodated our fiver and tow vehicle with plenty of room. Grassy sites and plenty of grassy areas around the campground to walk the dogs. All other comments were accurate. Some branches did graze the top of the camper. We loved it. As it it 4 hours from home we will definitely be back. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
