If you are looking for a quiet place to camp and don't want too many extras then this place
might be ok. We camped here the weekend before Memorial day weekend so maybe that could account for the fact that we had to find a table, find a fire ring, find someone to check in and someone to pay. Most sites were not shaded. There was a little stream next to some of the sites. The bathrooms are less than perfect and the camp "store" was closed but didn't look like it would be of much help. They advertise a rec. hall but all it looked like was wrecked! The "playground" consisted of 4 swings and a sliding board. The pool actually looked decent. Also had a hand full of rundown permanent campers and 1 permanent tent with dog (I have never seen a perm. tent, have you?). Overall I don't think we will be going back to camp there in the future. We camped at Sacony Park Campsites & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.
