This is a very small campground taken over by a new owner with ambitious plans. He also recently purchased waterfront property (Lake Mocatek) to expand the 45 sites to 100+. The very friendly owner greeted us as we entered the campground and told us to drive around and pick an open site. He very patiently and with humor put up with me changing my mind not once but several times, even after I had him cut down a limb in a site that we ended up not using. All this before we even settled the bill. The campground was friendly and it was quiet. During this Memorial Weekend, we saw the owner working hard on several different projects. We used this campground as a base to visit a relative and we noted other campers using it as a base as they used the local recreational facilities (Lake Wallenpaupack). There were also seasonal campers here. We look forward to returning to this campground to witness its growth and changes and we wish the owner success in this endeavor. We camped at Three Pines Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
