Staff very friendly, grounds clean and well maintained, paved park roads, most all the sites are gravel & dirt that need updating. Talking to some employees, they are making improvements, and they stay full most of the summer. Several campers in our area were empty during the week and used on the weekends. Outdoor pool is huge and it needs to be, well used every afternoon! Large arcade with a good variety of games (pricey though). Small laundry area, needs updating but it was functional. A little road noise from the 2-lane on the other side of the river. Camp store pretty well stocked, but bring your own adult beverages, none available. Some of the rules need better enforcement, but that happens just about everywhere in a TT park. Overall, for a TT park, it's pretty nice. AT&T was good, Verizon Jetpack showed good signal but was still very slow. Park wifi is non existent at the sites. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

Huge Thousand Trails park on the outskirts of Lancaster. As soon as someone leaves another takes their site day or night.

The site we were in wasn't very level. We were probably half a mile from the highway which is pretty busy for a 2 lane road. The exit is on a hill entering a curve so it is not the best.

Park is pretty quiet considering it is so busy. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Spend a day in Amish country east of town. Tuesday is the day for Roots produce and flea market in Manheim (the produce is excellent). There are guided tours at the Wolf Sanctuary of PA in Lititz on Tuesday and Thursday and open tours on Saturday and Sunday. There is a pretzel making tour on Main St in Lititz at the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery. Hershey Park, The Hershey Story and tour. The Manor Buffet in Lancaster. Huge selection of about any kind of food imaginable.

Starting to see some nice improvements in the park, older rental units have been removed and replaced with Yurts, costly but look nice. Other rental units removed and the sites were being used for rv's which is needed and hope it continues but sites do need graded and fresh stone put down, just think it has not been done yet. Staff is very helpful and friendly and they seem to try hard to keep up on what sites are available. It is a older park but they do seem to be trying to bring it back to a nice palce. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.

My family and I have been to Circle M several times over the past couple years. While there for Memorial Day weekend 2017 we were thrilled with the improvements they have made. They removed the rundown water park and installed a beautiful pavilion. Many of the old rental cottages have been removed and brand new Yurts have been installed. Also, the RV storage area has been cleaned up to be a bit more presentable. Lastly, the sites are better maintained and they are more vigilant about ensuring that the larger sites are left open for big rigs. We were very pleased with the improvements and are looking forward to going back. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff were great, they go out of their way to help. This was our third stay here - unlike other Thousand Trails parks, we have yet to discover a site that does not require extreme leveling; noticed that almost all RVs around us needed extra leveling. Sites need gravel and maintenance, there were ruts and gullies that make it hard to position the trailer on the site AND reach the hookups. Frankly the only reason we have visited here is that it's close to home and convenient. The "junkyard" of stored RVs is an eyesore, and it's right on the main road so you can't miss it. Picnic tables are not maintained. Park buildings, like bath houses, look run down and even dilapidated. Cable TV is barely adequate for $3.95/day. Could not access WIFI, as it's only in the store and office area. Good activities for families, especially for Halloween. Have not tried the indoor pool, which is nice to have. Location is great, central and convenient to Lancaster PA tourist attractions - if only the park itself were better maintained. If it weren't for our Thousand Trails membership I wouldn't consider staying here. And I certainly would not pay their published daily rates. It's a shame, because this location has great potential. P.S. Entrance from the highway is TERRIBLE because it's located on a blind curve, but it's been like that since the place opened in the 1960's - watch out when you exit the park! We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Travel Trailer.

If it weren't for the fact that this is the closest campground to an aging relative with health issues we would never return. Thousand Trails continues to raise rates but does not add anything to warrant it. Still no free WIFI throughout the park nor cable TV and at the prices they charge that is ridiculous. Rates are now $61/night plus the mandatory $4 "resort fee" so in reality $65/night is the base rate and add on to that if you want the terrible Tengo internet and cable TV each available for additional fees. Weekend rates are even worse @ $64/night + $4 resort fee. Sites all need leveling and could use an overhaul with new gravel etc. It is very sad, this could be a class A park with just some common sense applied to the settings but is typical of Thousand Trails locations. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

We stayed less than 24 hours. The "cabin" was an old trailer. Electricity wasn't on. We turned on the breaker and the power was flickering then blew. Maintenance came and replaced an air conditioner. The deck was unattached and unsafe. If you leaned forward the whole deck moved with you. Following morning our cabin was infested with ants on the inside and caterpillars on the outside. Our cabin was under a tree filled with cocoons of caterpillars. They were dropping out of the tree onto us and table....everywhere. We waited for three hours for them to come deal with ant issue when We finally left and will never go back. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Cabin.

The is a typical Outdoor World. Not well taken care of. A lot of permanent sites which didn't leave much choices of sites to pick from. Probably would not return to Circle M. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Travel Trailer.

If you're a Thousand Trails member, and have kids, and can put up with the ruts in the roads, you will find lots of stuff to keep you and the kids occupied.

If you're just a traveler looking for a place to park while visiting the area, this one's not for you. The highest price in the area, plus a resort fee, and WiFi is $5.95 per day per device. Cable costs also. Drive very slowly to avoid the ruts (on every road, once you're in the park). We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects TT member rate. Site not real level, took 3 boards to level, hook ups good, campground well kept. Saw sites that were closed the last time we were here and were repaired and back for use, staff was helpful and very friendly. Will return. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.

Very expensive park with a multitude of add-on fees e.g. "resort fee" of $3/day, WIFI $5.95/day, cable TV $3/day in addition to their already overpriced site fee of $53/day or in our case $58/day for a holiday. On top of all the fees you will be approached to join Thousand Trails at least once during your visit. Campsites are chosen after you begin the check-in process. They'll tell you to go and pick out a site and return to finalize. Our site was still filthy from the previous tenants, beer cans, cigarette butts, candy wrappers etc. At these prices you would expect much better but you won't get it. Even though the gal in the office stated that Encore Resorts no longer owned the park, the salesperson who tried to sign us up for Thousand Trails stated that the owner has stayed the same. It seems that all the parks in the Lancaster area are owned by the same corp. so the prices are high at all of them. We would not return. This park would have potential if it were run properly but as in much of our experience in RVing, higher prices are not indicative of better parks. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

Mostly small sites, with many not very level. Shaded sites are few and far between. Site selection is a free for all - you have to drive around and hope you can get a site with the hookups you need. Tents were allowed on full hook up sites. WI-FI wasn't free like most campgrounds we have visited, nor is the cable free either, which really didn't matter since it wasn't working anyway. There seemed to be a fair amount of crime when we were there. Neighbors on one side had a phone and watch stolen at the pool, while the neighbors on the other side heard of several crimes being committed. Police presence was very noticeable. The amenities were plentiful, but they were somewhat shabby and in need of upkeep. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

TTN rate. Wi-Fi costs by the day. Cable TV costs by the day (way too expensive). HDTV draws 10 or 12 channels including major networks. Ammenites are fairly clean and well maintained. The entry road, from the welcome center into the CG, is a tree covered tunnel but with enough room to clear. "D" section is pretty much open enough to negotiate with a large RV and all sites are back-in. 3-point hookups with 50AMP. Leveling requires the use of some blocks on the low side but it isn't extreme. In "D" section there is plenty of room between sites and most are gravel with tables and campfire rings. The par 3 pitch and putt is okay and the mini-golf is under cover near the pool. Approaching the CG requires some concentration. Don't listen to the GPS for it will try to take you .3 of a mile beyond the entrance and out into the corn fields. Coming in from the north the entrance is clearly marked, but it is on a hill and in a curve so caution is required to make the left turn (almost a U-turn) into the CG. The sites on the Conestoga River are okay, all 2-point hookups (no sewer) but when the river rises after a heavy rain there can be flooding to deal with in some of those sites. We would return if in the area in the future. We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a lot going for it and could be a premier resort with a little "TLC." There is decent tree coverage in some of the areas, and there is so much to do here rain or shine! Loved the indoor pool, hot tub, and water playground. The mini-golf is also under a roof, which was nice in rainy weather, however it is in desperate need of maintenance. The game room is large, and there is an equipment room to check out games and sporting equipment, which was great. But the sites are very, very close (no room between them at all) and need to be leveled. We saw some units with multiple cinder blocks under just one or two jacks to level up! You have to drive around and choose your own site, and they won't guarantee that you'll find 3-point hook up, even if that's what you requested when you reserved. Some of the roads are difficult for maneuvering a larger trailer (29'), and we couldn't make the turn around on one turnaround and damaged our awning in the trees. We would not have gone there if the camp map had indicated that the road before that, where we wanted to turn, was one way in the opposite direction. Now we know better, and we will stay here one more time since we purchased a season pass for this year, but we will not renew or go back once our pass expires. Putting this in the category of "you get what you pay for." We camped at Circle M-Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

Nice park, but sites were difficult to get into and not level. I had to put my front tires and leveling pads on blocks to get level. Word of caution getting there, I have two different GPS units and both wanted to take me past the entrance by about a mile. There is a sign with an arrow on the right side of the road on a curve about a block away then it's a sharp left. Would stay here again but would be a little more choosy.
