1 Park near Marshalls Creek, Pennsylvania
Mar 2016 - $60.00
Kicked off the 2016 Camping Season for us over Easter weekend staying at Otter Lake for the first time.
We stayed in site LF10 which was conveniently located near the front of the campground; just off the main road. Site was adequate width with a near level gravel base. Site had great access to the lake and would be great for fishing. Tree branches did block any satellite signals; however with the campground cable we were able to receive over 70 channels. Hookups were mid site and very convenient. Verizon Wireless signal was not excellent but manageable. Campground had a few activities that the kids enjoyed for the weekend, such as indoor pool (which is a decent walk from the this site, but was worth it) firetruck rides, and Easter related events as well.
We will definitely make a return trip to Otter Lake in the future! - SJEAGLES609

This is my favorite Poconos campground by far. It's a little more expensive . But, we have stayed in more expensive parks that simply do not compare to Otter Lake. Wooded with good size lots. There is a lot to do here and the lake is beautiful.
Open year round and they keep the water on a long as the weather holds. The water was on 2nd weekend of November. Call ahead and be prepared.
Our neighbors were first time winter campers, planning to snowmobile. Reportedly there are trails nearby.
Very clean restrooms and showers.
Backing your camper into a spot can be tricky, with so many trees and large buried boulders about. Ask the front desk what is the best direction to approach your site for easier maneuvering.
Sites are level with small gravel. There are seasonals. All appear well kept and Otter Lake does not feel like a trailer park. It feels like the resort campground that it is supposed to be.
We didn't use it, but the heated indoor pool (open year-round) looks really nice.
There is actually cell phone service (2 bars-Verizon LTE) and their WiFi is free and is the best that we have experienced. It just works without any annoying passwords or pop-ups. - rvparkreviews_cc

It is a lovely park with great facilities. However, most sites we have stayed on over the years allowed 4 people per site in the cost. They charge for over 2 people which I could not find on their website. We also had a very bad experience with the sewer. When we arrived we heard a camper complain that their tank was full. We didn't think much of it until the 3rd day of our 5 day stay. We noticed a bad odor when we used the water. On the 4th day we noticed that water was "bubbling up" under the camper whenever we ran the water, so my husband took the cap off the sewer and it was clear to the top. We left a day early. I stopped at the office on the way out and told them of the issue and we were offered another site, but by that point our rug and everything we had stored under the camper was covered in sewer water and we just wanted to get home and clean everything. Re-setting back up was not an attractive alternative. We were never offered any sort of refund. - almar4evr
