The sites were level, but basically a gravel pit. They advertise Wifi and cable of which neither was available at our site. The restrooms were not very clean. The rate was $40 and then there was an additional $ 1 to use a credit card? The hook ups were centrally located. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

50 amp FHU, pull through site. Cable and WIFI included in price, however we could not connect to the WIFI. Escort to site. Convenient to I-84 and Hwy 209. Our hotspots worked fine here. Some noise from the Interstate but nothing we could not deal with. We had not called for a site until almost 4 PM on a Friday night and were surprised to find that we could get one. Campground is right on the Delaware River. If you're looking for convenience to the Interstate for an overnight stop this is a good choice. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good overnight stay. Check-in lady was very nice but the office is a mess. The cg is right off the interstate but a challenge to figure out how to get into it. The roads changed recently and the GPS had not caught up with that yet. We ended up having to unhold so I could figure it out the guide my husband with the coach in. All sites are on shale rock. Its just a parking area. Surprisingly there are a few people with semi-permanent looking sites. Maybe working or there for fishing the river that is adjacent to the property. Good stop over when going north or south from NY/NJ to PA/MD. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The CG is easy access for I-84 and we were able to keep our 45 ft MH and tow attached during our stay. As others have noted, it is a gravel lot throughout with mostly permanent or semi-permanent residents. There is quite a bit of junk around and the place is not aesthetically pleasing. Our site however was a long pull through along the out road of the park which fit us nicely and everything worked well. There is quite a bit of road noise requiring the use of a fan or AC at night. We did not use the rest rooms or cable so cannot comment on that but the Wifi did not connect for us so we were unable to use it. Verizon hot spot service was acceptable. The office staff were very friendly and we got an escort to our site and assistance with hook-up. The GC is located along the Delaware River and one can take a walk to the river which is very nice. No designated dog area that we could see. The stop is very convenient and acceptable if you don't mind a disheveled place. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy to get to; right off of the highway. This is a good over night stop and the staff was very nice. It's really close to shopping so you can resupply and get a bit of rest before heading on. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Located next to I-84 and the traffic noise is terrible even with the doors closed. No picnic table, firepit or patio. WiFi is weak and the Verizon wireless connection is marginal. This campground is just a gravel parking lot, with about 80 percent long term residents. Full hook ups. Only good for a one night stay. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was just for an overnight stop. We picked this park for the easy off/easy on highway access. We hung out on both the front and back of our site, but we didn't have any traffic in the park. Road noise was LOUD. Close the door, turn on the a/c, and turn the TV up loud to drown out the road noise. Cable was mediocre. They had better sites, but this is what we got... in fact, there are about 4 sites that overlook the river; the rest are pretty much a gravel parking lot. We had to be very careful when putting our awning out to keep from touching the window awnings on the coach next to us. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

You could not find more accommodating owners. Don't be put off by the entrance with the run down vehicles or the appearance of a parking lot. It is a great location - easy on/off the highway. The road noise was not a problem. The ground are well kept and the Delaware River is right there at your finger tips. We will stay here on our way home. This is a perfect place if you just need to stop for the night. Easy in/out from the highway. Walmart is right down the road but no overnight stays are allowed (they have plenty of signs saying no overnight allowed; however I know at least one or two did). Staff is very friendly. Sites are pretty level; they are hard packed gravel instead of the loose stuff. A lot of permanents there; however everyone seemed friendly. This is a no frills park; but it's prefect for overnight to get some rest. River is right there as well, so plenty of water activities available in the area. Convenient to Walmart, gas, and places to eat. We would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Laundry room has AC and is reasonably priced; although I did not use it. Bathrooms have no AC and were pretty hot. We didn't use them, just checked them out.

Overall Rating:

Think old time drive-in theater and you have a good idea of what the CG is like. Gravel everywhere interspersed by hookups in multiple rows. Adequate room to extend slides, but that is it. My site was very level and a pull through long enough to accomodate 38' rig & tow. Very new electric hookups and water was heated for winter. Sewer pipe is not threaded. Find a board & rocks to hold down sewer connection. Those that didn't contributed to a pungent aroma. Definitely not a place I'd vacation, but perfect for what we needed - close to highway, overnighter. Pulling in & out was easy. This seems to be a popular use as at least 20 other RVs came in same night and were gone by morning. The owner/staff were very nice and there is a nice walk by the river for exercise (when not flooded). Zero amenities. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be careful coming off the exit ramp from I-84 East. The intersection you cross (there is a light) has a tremendous heave in the center and dips at both sides. I crossed at about 3mph and drug bottom. Try taking it at an angle. You may piss off other drivers, but who hasn't been there before? You have to cross the same intersection to get back on I-84.

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We were hesitant to stay here based on other reviews but there aren't that many choices for Pennsylvania in February. We found the owners extremely friendly and helpful. While the park does appear to be behind on maintenance the appearance was not horrible and we have stayed at worse. There were plenty of permanent residents but they were quiet and kept to themselves and many were families. I had a 37 foot motorhome towing a car and there was plenty of room to maneuver. The 50 amp service was fine and our Verizon voice and data were strong. Satellite reception was excellent. The worst part of the stay was the noise from the highway which was quite loud and would prevent some from a restful night sleep. Overall is was fine for an easy overnight stop and we would stay here again given the same options. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were tired and it was getting late. The lady was friendly and took me to our site. It looked like most lots were taken up by construction workers. You're next to I-81 and it was noisy. There was trash and many sites had water leaking. Power post were leaning and electrical box was broken.

We were looking for a semi level lot, water, electric and cable tv and that's what we got!

No frills park and the price could have been lower. I've seen KOA's cheaper. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Convenient off of I-84. Staff friendly and helpful. Park is severely over crowded with long term units. They are crammed in as tight as possible. Roads and sites are gravel. Some smooth and some in disrepair. The bathrooms and showers are clean but quite worn. We will avoid this park in the future. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.
