This is a nice location and campground. It is older and I only had 30 amp service, but the site was long and had trees with shade. When we arrived a woman switched us to a very easy-in site instead of having to drive through the campground to get to the spot. It was 62 dollars on the weekend and 54 during the week. The staff was friendly and helpful and the grounds were well cared for and pretty. The Wi-Fi was good, as was the cable. It needs cable as I doubt you could shoot either DTV or Dish.
The back part of the campground looked like it was full of seasonal units and makes you wonder why they stay a KOA. You are not far from Amish buggy and horses that are fun to watch on the roads as you pass them. It is pretty quiet here as well. I would stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Go to Iron Bridge Inn. It is about 4.5 miles away but very good.

Rate reflects one night stay with KOA card discount. Not a bad park with sites long and well spaced. The access roads in the park are narrow and very treed making site access and exit difficult. Some are better than others and suggest you look before accepting a site. We had site 24 which borders highway 258 which was very noisy. At night the traffic subsided but every 10-15 minutes a loud truck or motorcycle would roar by making sleep difficult. The sites were gravel but you will need to go onto the grass to access your site and it was very muddy. Showers and restrooms were very clean. Cable was great. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
As per the KOA website, do not access the park from I-80 (use I-79) unless your rv is small.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $43.00
Park is nice with large level pull through sites, trees and easily accessed hookups. Lots of puddles and soggy ground but not in our or nearby sites. Our site was very quiet - this may have been due to the early season and few other campers. We would stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $48.00
Price paid reflects KOA discount. We stayed here one night and it is one of the nicest KOA's we've stayed at. The sites are very wide and long, plenty of nice trees, and a great fire pit. We didn't use the restrooms so we can't comment on them. The WiFi was strong and fast. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. We stay here several times a year. Sites are fairly spacious and level. Some very nice patio sites with swings and table with umbrella on either concrete pad or wooden deck. Even when the campground is full, you do not feel cramped, which is nice compared to some other campgrounds, which is probably why it costs a bit more. I'm sure they could charge less if they parked everyone in tight rows. Usually activities going on over the weekends. Pool is beautiful and heated. Wagon ride through the campground on Saturday nights. Nice hiking/nature trail. Staff is friendly and restrooms/showers are clean. Wifi is free but very weak. Close to Grove City Outlets. Fishing pond across street from campground. Campground is what you expect from a KOA. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Travel Trailer.
Overnighted here on our way to the New England area. Typical KOA park, clean adequately supplied store and friendly staff. Check in was quick and we were escorted to our site where the employee checked the power pedestal and water supply. The Wi-Fi is sporadic at best. This was disappointing as the park was only about 1/2 to 2/3 full and we were right under the antenna. There is a disclaimer on the paperwork you get at check in..."The Wi-Fi is complementary, not guaranteed." I believe that if you are going to advertise it, you should make sure it works as many people rely on it these days for work or e-mail. The bathrooms are typical KOA bathrooms, same size, layout, age, etc. May be time for Corporate to start mandating upgrades. There is nothing wrong with them, just that doing something now will keep them somewhat current. The cost displayed reflects KOA membership. We try to use KOA for our stopovers as we always know what you get. The spots might be a touch tight, but they are usually easy on/off the freeway, clean and sufficiently stocked. Like McDonalds, you know what you are going to get when you go there regardless of the location, same with KOA which is NOT necessarily a bad thing. We would stay here again on an overnight. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Beautiful park. This is what most folks think of when they think, KOA. Great store, friendly staff, decent Wi-Fi, clean laundry and showers, and tons of activities for kids and families. Every site seems level and shaded and every site is cared for and well maintained. We overnighted, which was regrettable because this was a destination park, not an overnight park. A little tricky to navigate to and from I-80, but also zero road noise as a result. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
We just stayed overnight on our way home. The pool was nice. The grounds were nice, as well as the sites. Our only complaint is the cost, $70 is just too much for an overnight stay. We would not stay here again because of the price. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $47.00
Peaceful wooded campground. Decent access roads with gravel sites. Power ok, did not use water or sewer, Wi-Fi abysmal, Verizon cell ok. Satellite worked, but probably only due to leaves being gone. We will consider this campground when next in the area, but will also take another look at the alternatives. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $50.00
Chose this park due to the closeness to the outlet mall as that was the purpose of the trip, only a 5-10 minute drive. We arrived after dark. The office staff was friendly and escorted us to our site. The site was a long gravel pull-through that left lots of room for the coach and toad. The sites were of average size. The park was clean and well cared for. Trash picked up at your site daily. Our roof mounted Direct TV worked fine, but as others have mentioned it may be to the lack of leaves on the trees. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $44.00
Our stay was a pleasant. The sites are large. The owners are friendly and helpful. Very clean facilities. Wi-Fi was weak. Not enough band width, but it was accessible. The park is very scenic. A place we'll definitely come back to. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Nice, clean KOA. We were greeted promptly at check-in. Good interior roads, and we had a nice level gravel parking pad. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $43.00
We have stayed in this park a couple of times on our way south. It is clean and neat with excellent customer service. It is a great stopover for snowbirds. We had to make a late reservation change due to truck trouble, and we were treated very well. We found the nature trail for the first time, and it is great! We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $44.00
We have stayed here before and we think each time there are noticeable improvements. The sites are big, level and easy to get into. There are many beautiful plantings all over. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.
