We stayed here for an weekend trip and picked this CG because of the proximity to Grove City Outlet Mall. Easy to get to the CG off of the Route 79 exit for the mall. Entire CG is gravel including all sites and roads. I see a lot of reviews about lot sizes being too small, which is true for some of the back-in sites. Most of the pull-thru sites in our section were very large. Our site was on the end and was very spacious and private. It was very quiet. It wasn't too difficult to get level on the site. The store was average and the pool area was a little on the small side, but serviceable. Dog park was very big. Most of the pathways are wood chips and I could see where heavy rains would affect them. They had several planned activities for kids but some of the amenities offered for playgrounds, bocce ball, ping pong need a little maintenance and updating. There were a lot of weeds growing in and around those areas. Staff was friendly but this CG appears to run only on the bare minimum number of staff with limited hours of operation for the office. We were escorted to our site as were most arrivals but I saw some that were not escorted. There appears to be several seasonal sites but golf carts are not allowed and that really keeps the noise and traffic down. Restrooms were above average, they were clean. Overall nothing spectacular about this CG but no issues, either. I would stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

We arrived after a heavy rainstorm and our site was heavy flooded and soggy for 2 days and we were not able to change sites. Sites are gravel/dirt, with good distance between, grassy and some shade, however, the WiFi is poor and the park can be very smokey from everyone's fires even in extremely high daily temperatures. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

We made online reservations before realizing how close we were to the campground; we arrived 30 minutes later and signed in without a hitch. We were also provided a value card, a rear view mirror hanger for our campsite, a map, and a very friendly welcome to the campground. We were then escorted to our campsite and assisted with backing into the site. The latrine facilities are clean and well kept... as are the grounds and other facilities. This stop is only our second on our maiden voyage and KOA has set the bar very high for future campgrounds. Our site was gravel without much shade; our stay is short so we don't mind. The campground store is well-stocked and was very useful - especially the 24-hour service on the laundry. Good value for the money and highly recommended by us IF you happen to be in the neighborhood. Yes, it is a bit tricky getting here, but the final destination is well worth the challenge of the journey. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We're here to unwind and relax for a day or two after visiting downtown NYC and Chinatown towing our RV. Completely serendipitous, and quite the ordeal... this campground is a great place to completely unwind.

Do NOT take the exit off I-80 onto Rt. 19. I did. There are signs for the KOA as you get off I-80 and they direct you onto Old Mercer Rd. I took one look and decided not to go that way. After calling the KOA and being told that they had an exemption allowing RVs to cross the limited weight bridge, I reluctantly went along. Wrong move! The road is narrow, twisting and includes a one lane limited weight bridge with a 90 degree turn going into it. If your RV is larger than a pup tent, you have no business being on that road. In all fairness the campground website does include a one line note advising larger RVs not to go that way. I made my arrangements on line and did not look at the website. They also have the nicest dog park that I have ever seen at a campground and the young lady who guided us to our site was very polite and helpful. The grounds were extremely wet and the pathways (wood chips) were unusable. Again, in fairness, I don't know how much rain they might have recently had so this may be an exception rather than the norm. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

Very clean park, friendly staff. Lots of weekend activities. Well kept pool and play areas. Work out equipment inside and out. Nice level sites, easy navigation. Big rig friendly all the way in from interstate. Typical KOA. Would return if in area. AT&T service good. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful, it was June so all the many lilies were in bloom. Level sites, full hook-up, fire pit, patio table. Showers were good, laundry room in office so it remains clean and well attended. Staff nice, trash pickup throughout the day. Majority of sites were for permanents, but very well maintained. Some upgraded sites had patio tables with umbrellas, gliders and decks. The cabins had hanging baskets and the lawn was kept cut; tall trees, pool, shade and space between the sites. I think this is one of the nicer KOAs. One grocery store in town but it is a good one. We are traveling for 4 months and stay in all types of campsites. I am not sure why anyone could complain about this site. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a really really nice park. One of the very best we have stayed in on this trip. Beautifully maintained and extremely clean. The price we paid was for an extra long 50 amp site. Really long and sites are wide and level. Great power wifi and cable. Beautiful pool and store. Attentive staff. Nice treed areas. Great little dog park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is set in a nice wooded area halfway between Mercer & Grove City (outlet mall). Staff were very nice, spring cleanup was underway & looking good. Our site was more than long enough for our coach & tow. Nice level gravelled area. Services easily accessible. Cable & wifi were both good. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice clean KOA. Clean outdoor pool, store well stocked. Laundry located in store was good price ($2/wash & .75 dried a medium load). Exercise equipment nice. For some reason television went out and then just one channel worked the last two days of our stay. Some rain. No heavy storms. Grass extremely high at pond and throughout property. Huge yellow jacket nest at entry of women's bathroom. Staff said they have been trying to get rid of it for two weeks. Apparently calling in professional pest control is not an option? We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

Some very tight turns which could be remedied by the removal of trees at the corner of the turns. Roadways are also very tight. Needed 2" of elevation on one side of our site to come near level. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is what a KOA should be like. Oh, there are the resort ones, but more run of the mill KOAs should strive to be like this.

Friendly - we arrived early. They weren't busy so they allowed early access. No silly up charge.

We had our two kids. We don't use the facilities because of their disabilities. No silly up charge for sleeping in their own RV.

The charged a fair price for a patio site. We hardly ever use the stuff, we just like nicer sites. No silly excessive charge thinking they are a Hilton. Just a fair price. Nice :).

Great wifi. No silly up charge.

They pick up trash, escort you to your site and maintain the place with pride.
