FHU, 50 amp, pull-through site. 17 OTA TV stations available, excellent WIFI though the park is fairly empty since we arrived after Labor Day. Many seasonal rigs here and the roads are somewhat narrow and turns are a bit tight for our rig and towed vehicle but manageable. Staff was very helpful and friendly particularly warning us about using the printed directions in our Passport America book rather than GPS. Actual rate was $17.50 for the night. Site could use some leveling since it sloped to our left. All the picnic tables appear to be brand new. We would return if in the area. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Rest rooms were clean. Picnic tables were like new. Sites very close. A lot of permanent residents. Sites for overnighter are very unlevel. With my motor home I had One wheel off the ground due to the slope of the site. Well covered with trees. I was told I'd get satellite reception but I could not. Road coming in was very narrow. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This was our first stay, traveled 2 hrs, campground had a lovely country feel even had Amish come in to set up bake goods, but staff hardly saw, but those I did, I didnt care for. Store assumed we knew where everything was. Someone I assume was staff spoke rudely to me and my 2 kids for sitting on playground riding animals that we had just taken a picture on - we will not return due to her rudeness. Had to buy a floor jack 1st night to level out our trailer because site was to unlevel. Power went out twice. Activity equipment was rundown or broken, no planned activites, fishing pond dirty, pool was nice but smokers. Store was basically obsolete. They need to update the place and their staff if they want to be a resort. No Thanks...what a shame. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

This campground opens on April 1 and it is huge with many seasonals. There are about twelve pull through full hookups sites saved for overnighters. Passport America accepted but with some restrictions. Follow directions from the park not from your GPS. Bath house with very clean and the showers hot. Check in was easy and everyone seemed very nice. Sites are close together and most of the park seasonals were not there yet. This is a big park with a pool, tennis courts, horseshoes, basketball, shuffleboard and trails. This is about 6 miles north of route 80 in Mercer. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We were late coming in - after 5:00. The host drove by in her golf cart, completely ignored us, and another camper waiting to check in. A small sign said, pick a place and pay in the morning. She could have helped us-- she was right there. Wifi was pay - no instructions, since the host wouldn't help us. Very poor service= so we left without staying. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Has the feel of a mobile home park. There are a lot of permanent RVs setup and year round residents here. The roads are narrow throughout the park and were muddy during our 2 night stay here. There lots of pine trees & tree stumps on the RV sites. The park has 5-6 pull-through full hookup sites for overnight guests. The sites are lightly graveled & short. Our 35 ft fit the site but we had to disconnect & angle our truck so it wasn't out in the road. About as far from being a resort as you can get. We won't stay here again. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Directions on website say don't follow GPS but their directions are confusing. They tell you to go west but the sign says N or S.

Site are FHU 50amp, PTH, gravel with grass. They are close but enough room between. No cable but TV over antenna. Playground, pool. No dog run but places to walk. Permanent sites were OK. Fine for an overnight. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has serious electrical problems on their transient sites during warm weather. When we arrived, voltage was 112. At 6pm when other camper arrived, voltage dropped to less than 97 volts on several occasions on the 50 amp service. This happened two days in a row during temps in the high 80's. We left early after the second night of issues. Other than that, the campground was nice and shady. Other campers reported the same issues with the power. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Would not stay here again. Power surges over 130 and below 103. Talked to office and their solution was use 30 amp to 50 adapter. Tried to run 1 ac with everything else in rv off power fluctuations all over the scale. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer park feel to the place with mostly permanent and seasonals.

Golf carts literally everywhere on the weekends.

Full hook-up sites are small, pine tree covered and mixed in with the permanent residents, even though a lot of them seemed empty.

Roads are somewhat difficult to squeeze a large rig between the pines.

No WIFI throughout the park but only a pay-as-go wifi hotspot at the store/office that has a limit of 720mb of data, then your service is slowed to 56k speed.

Smoking at the pool.

Tennis court has large cracks that could swallow a ball or twist/break an ankle.

Ball field is an open field with no signs of an actually used ball field--just grass--no marks in dirt for bases.

Minigolf course is small but works. Playground is older looking but is fairly large. Pool is enormous-3ft to 10ft depth and 75' x 45'.

About 1/4-1/2 mile away from camp office there is a small dirty fishing pond under the heavy covering of trees that is stocked with panfish and possibly catfish--I didn't see any Bass.

I would feel totally ripped off if I paid the full price as this place is barely worth the discount rate especially for a place that advertises itself as a 'resort.'

Kids, however, would not care about the aforementioned issues and would probably enjoy themselves even if they are having to dodge golf carts during the weekend or breath cigarette smoke at the pool.

The passport rate is honored all days of the week; therefore, that makes up for some of the issues.

If you have to stay here then stay in the open area across from the campstore/office. It only offers water/electric and has a few 30amp spots. Not sure about 50amp.

I would stay here again for the passport rate; if money was no issue I would look elsewhere. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is eye-appealing and pleasant. It is a great family fun park. However, we have yet to find a level site at this park. The power fluctuates from usable to dangerously low, so watch carefully when using anything in addition to air conditioning. It is difficult to access with a 34' motorhome pulling a car. We have stayed here once a year for the last 8 years, so it must not be too bad. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is mostly a seasonal park. They do have pull through sites, but WiFi is not available on them, only at the office which is only open until about 3 P.M. No cable TV, can get a few channels with antenna. Park was clean, sites were extra long and good space between them. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Was nice and quiet. We were visiting family and it was a nice value. Rate was for Passport America. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Park is mostly permanent sites with only a few full hook ups for travelers. They do have a large open grassy area with water and electric available. Biggest issue were they advertise big rig access but the pull through sites are short and larger rigs (over 35') would have to unhook tow car to fit. Roads to campground are narrow and interior roads are potholed and muddy when it rains. Be sure and follow campground directions to park, not GPS due to big hill and tight turns described in prior post. On the plus side they honored the Passport rate for our 8 day stay. Our Sprint air card was slow and we did not pay for their WI-FI as signal was weak from our site. We would probably stay again just for the PPA rate if back in the area, otherwise we would try one of the other parks nearby. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Most sites are permanent. We were in a pull-through site that needed gravel badly. It rained most of the time we were here and the site became very muddy. No cable but TV reception was OK with antenna. Charged $5.95 for 24 hours of Wi-Fi then reception at site was weak. Verizon air card worked well. AC power was low. Golf carts are allowed so can be noisy. Water was good. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
