We stayed one night while traveling through the area. The office staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would have appreciated a physical guide to our site as the map was a bit confusing. The park was nicely laid out. Our site was next to a camping cabin and parking was tight, making it a bit difficult to access our site. The park is shady and contained many trees. Many of the sites are on a hill but are relatively level. We did not participate in any of the activities other than walking around on the park roads and trails. It is a park that mainly caters to families with children but is also appropriate for senior adults. We would probably not return only because we do not travel in that direction often. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots to do in the park itself. It is several miles from the nearest town and, as we were traveling, we did not check out any of the area restaurants or shopping.

We renewed our Passport America just to stay here and we were totally satisfied. This is the place for kids!

Usually an RV park will have one nice playground. This place had a nice wooden playground, and a swingset, and a wooden climb-on train, AND a giant wooden ship with slides, AND a gaga ball pit, AND a giant Mc-Donald's style tunnel playground.

They also had a working gameroom.

Each morning they had a hey-hey ride with Yogi Bear, followed by coloring and cartoons. In the afternoon, the staff came the the playground and organized games with the kids. At dark, they played a movie on the big screen. Did I mention that this was on a TUESDAY?!

The pool was nice and had a separate baby pool with a cool contraption for filling buckets with water.

Laundry was decent.

The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen!

The staff tried to give me a site that was close and easy with my 40 bus, but it was hard to find from the map, so I ended up making some awkward turns. When it was time to leave, the staff member gave me a golf-cart escort just to make sure I tooth easy way out. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There was no T-mobile service here, but there was free wi-fi that was monitored and decent. We got 3 passwords for 3 devices. Our cell phone could call over wi-fi, so this was acceptable for us.

The lady who made my last minute reservation was extremely sweet and helpful. Our site was level (103), a little tight with the neighbors on the sides, but to be expected in a larger park with lots of sites. Good power, water and cable. No sewer at our site. Internet a little laggy and slow. Pool was nice, good hours, but crowded on weekends as expected in high season. Lots of playground equipment and activities. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

They tried to put us way in the back at site 217, very difficult to back into with all the trees. We went back to the office and went with one of the sites along the creek. No one on either side and close to everything. There was no sewer hook up but we were only there for 1 night. Great activities for the kids, pool closed early so we didn't get a chance to use it. WIFI did not work very good but the price was right with our PA discount. We would stay here again but up close to the front. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Travel Trailer.

First, the good stuff -If you want a campground geared towards young families then this Yogi Bear place is for you. They've got lots of scheduled activities for kids including daily hay rides; very nice pool; playground and more. All the physical amenities in this campground such as the sites, roads, buildings are in terrific condition. The entire campground was very well maintained by a large number of work-camper staff. Even the fire pits are moved and all ashes cleaned immediately after the site is vacated. Many of the sites are shaded by mature trees.

Now the not-so-good stuff - Thee is an huge amount of permanent sites consuming the better locations. Very few pull-thru sites for larger rigs and even less with 50amp. Our 50amp site was back-in with no shade and just gravel. OVERHEAD WIRES were everywhere and low enough to actually drag on top of some tall RV's. We had to have a spotter while maneuvering to our site with our motorhome. We cleared some wires by only inches. One access road was no navigable due to low wires. They really should consider trenching the electrical utilities. Last, we stayed Tuesday thru Thursday. The campground is so well booked on weekends that they try to do all their maintenance during the week. Wednesday was mowing day with noisy mowers until late afternoon. Then, a skid loader was spreading stones and leveling gravel on nearby sites until after 6:00pm making sitting outdoors very annoying. I finally went over and asked the skid loader person what time he intended to quit for the day. He planned on working later but was reasonable enough to stop 15 minutes later. We understand the need to work during the week when sites are available, but we also expect a quiet time for weekday campers, too. The 1/2 mile or so paved access road to the campground is very narrow and full of potholes. We were SO glad not to meet another RV on this road. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're glad that enjoyed your stay and do appreciate all of your feedback. Our staff prides themselves on the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds. They do complete the maintenance tasks like lawn care, during the week when the park is not as busy. We do apologize for any inconveniences that this might have caused. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to impress and wish you all the best.

I tried everything to contact this park before we arrived: email, phone message, finally we showed up. Three people in the office but no one could pick up a phone. Poor customer service. I wanted a pullthru, first one assigned was occupied already. Went back and tried again. second one was inconveniently located but my husband can drive anywhere it seems. The road sign to the park was down so we guessed we were at the right spot. The road in is very potholed. We had a great view of the play area and there is a lot to do here, pool, rec hall, play structures - ooks like fun for kids. All areas well maintained. Pool could have been a little clearer though, was pretty cloudy. Very interactive for families with a lot of things for the kids to do. (Ages 14,9). They offer movies outdoors, a big play area, concession stand, pool, fishing pond, a "hayride" with Yogi, etc. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Tent.

Stayed monthly, from april 2016-sept 2016. Had a great experience. I travel with 2 puppies, they allowed my dog fence. When I originally inquired about staying I was told I would need to move a couple of times, however in the end they made it where i could stay in the same spot. The drought this year caused water to be low, so couldn't wash clothes on the weekend. Very family friend, daily activities for kids, very clean. Attractive location with park sites along wooded river. Our site was level with large grassy area to overlook, utility connections were convenient, water pressure was good until park pump failed (repaired early the next morning), Verizon signal was good. This large, wooded campground is located at the base of a lovely stone cliff with a stream babbling along it. The campground is equipped with all kinds of activities for family play and has several miles of trails through the woods and along the creek. It is a beautiful setting. There are only a few seasonal campsites. Our electric/water campsite was level and gravel. Cable TV and Wifi worked well. The campsites are pretty close together, though at the time we were there not many people were camping. Campground staff work hard to keep everything nice and to make you feel welcome. The price reflects AAA discount, they also have Good Sam discount – you will need to bring your card inside with you when you register. Very nice park, we were here after Labor day so it was very quite. I would imagine it would be very busy during the summer months. We had the park to ourselves except for the workers. This is 8 miles off I-80, but it was well work it, nice and quite place. Our rate of $21.50 a night are with our Passport America discount and we had 30 amp. Weather was good and didn't really need 50. Would definitely stay here again in the fall. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

This is a decent enough park. The sites were short and narrow for our 40' motorhome, but we managed to squeeze in. WII-FI only worked with our extenders. It's quiet during the week and gets very busy on weekends with lots of families and children. There are tons of activities for them to enjoy. The staff was very pleasant although not very proficient with the computer system. We would probably stay here again when visiting Williamsport as it is the nicest park around. Our rate reflects Passport America. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.
