Nice Beach area and fishing pond....2 pools one was supposed to be heated...it did not feel as though it was heated. Low hanging branches making it difficult to navigate large rig to campsite. Septic system backed up causing feces to float around campsite. The front desk advised they could not fix the problem....after 2 days of not being able to use water and flush toilet, waste management arrived. Also, in the next campsite a water pipe broke causing large puddles in the mud. As we were doing a family camping trip my niece was renting a cabin for 4 adults and 2 young children. After checking in and going to cabin we were horrified by the condition of the cabin. In addition to being filthy, the window was broken and taped together and the screen was broken. After arguing with the manager her cabin was eventually changed. On a good note the front desk clerk was very polite and apologetic. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Unfortunately, made reservations to stay one month to the tune of 845.00. Finding the site was difficult as the sites are not marked that you can see the site from roadway. Had to request that limbs be cut to accommodate our opening of slides. Pulled into a very untidy area with two other side by side neighbors that are to be desired as they are unkept, garbage outside and curtains just hanging in windows. Very disappointed with site and hope they can remedy our situation that we do not have to search for other accommodations. Be sure you deeply investigate your camping ground choice...taking advertising shots as your guide could lead to a disappointment. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is beautiful! The spots are spacious and well maintained. There are many planned activities available, but there are numerous things to do on your own. With two pools, a fishing pond, a swimming pond, mini golf, fitness center, spa, and dance barn there is a lot to keep everyone busy. We can't wait to go back! We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We try to do at least one weekend a year here. The lower sites are more open and energetic, close to the office, camp store, and activities building. the upper sites, up the mountain, are quieter, almost totally tree covered with lots of seasonals. Most of the seasonal people are nice with clean and neat setups. The upper pool was clean and busy. Cable TV had plenty of channels. On the down side, everything was expensive in the camp store. WiFi was extra. Cell phone reception was never more than 2 bars. Miniature golf was $3.00. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

I reviewed this campground a few years ago, but thought I should review it again due to the changes I have noticed. Over the years, most of the seasonal campers have turned their sites into trashy looking winter wonderland light displays and have added all sorts of figurines and other tacky yard ornaments, signs and things that spin when the wind blows. There are solar walkway lights, not on walkways, but everywhere. They come on and stay on every night, whether somebody is there or not. It is very annoying and unnatural. String lights are hanging from trees on many sites to seemingly mark the seasonal campers' territory. It's just a shame that such a nice campground could be ruined by this junk. Some needed improvements have been made since my first review, but nothing has been added and the advertised game room is nonexistent. I am saddened by the decline of the attractiveness and sense of being in the woods at Spring Gulch RV Resort due mainly to the seasonal sites. If they clean up these sites, I will be back and write another review. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

After a horrible experience at another local campground, we called around to find another campground. The staff on the phone was so sympathetic and wonderful trying to help us. After a one night stay in a hotel we checked into here. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The cabin beautiful. The campground is beautiful and serene. Wi-Fi and cable are included, unlike the other campground. We would definitely recommend this place to others as well as stay here ourselves again. Staff was great. Campground was much too expensive. For the excess cost you would expect free wifi. 3rd party carrier $$$. No game room for the kids (which is listed on the website). Had to call an outside vendor for golf cart rental ... Over $250 for 5 days. Nice campground but definitely would not pay full price as it was really nothing special. We stay at Spring Gulch with friends every year for a long weekend. The sites are classified as "Elite" although I can't imagine why, they are just gravel covered sites with an unremarkable picnic table. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The heavy tree cover helps keep the area cool, but prevents satellite TV reception. We always bring the golf cart, because it's long, long distance to the office. The campground is convenient to all the local tourist attractions. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

We love this campground, it is one of the ones we go to yearly at least once. We always stay in the same site very nice section and easy to group everyone together if we go as a group. Very clean campground. We will probably stay up top one of the times we go in the future. Already booked for next year. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for a week in April, 2016. The campground is pleasant looking, large sites, mature trees, a rustic feel. Contrary to their website, the swimming pools, hot tub and laundry were all closed during our entire week-long visit. They should have at least offered a discount, but I asked, and they said it's just the way it is. Call ahead to find out what amenities are available during your stay. Don't trust the website. Have fun! We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is one of my favorites. Big sites, large campground, very relaxed. There are more seasonal sites each year, which is not too good for us weekend warriors, but there are still available sites. The parks are great for the kids and there are large fields for them to play. I would certainly recommend this campground. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I think we found a new favorite in Lancaster County PA. Every fall, our family does a group trip to Lancaster. I have drove in and checked out the facility before hand, and found it to be wonderful. Deciding to go there, we all packed up our Motorhomes. Upon arriving, we found that the sites we we were having all together would be broke up, due to a camper having a breakdown on his truck. No big deal, we were close enough. The staff was wonderful. The store was well stocked with all the basics (including ice cream!) The sites were spacious, with full hook up and cable. Wifi was $4.00 a day, which we found to be not needed. Verizon coverage was excellent. We camped in the 400 section, which had a nice large field, so the dogs could run. The was also a house right by our sites, which was a bit different. The campground is huge, and we found many seasonal campers, but all were so friendly. This campground has a ton to offer. The sites are very spacious, and we cannot wait to come back and camp in the 1500 zone. Love the shaded sites up the hill. Also, we rented a golf cart from Renningers, which came in handy to explore the campground, and make trash runs and trips to the store. Also came in handy to buy firewood. Gated campground, which is awesome. Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay, and we have no doubt that we will make Spring Gulch an annual destination. We did not use the restrooms, but found them to be very clean. (Showers by dance barn were a bit odd, as they were shared by both men and women, but were privately divided.) Cable TV Service was excellent. To sum it up, we found this Resort to live to its expectation, and will certainly be telling our friends about it. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Be sure to rent a golf cart from Renningers while staying here. You will need it to see the whole campground. Be sure to tour the local attractions. Visit, and learn the PA Dutch country and the amish culture. Its so nice to sit in the 400 section and watch the horse and buggys go by at night!

Clean bathrooms! We were surprised to have a site with no sewer in the lower part of the campground. This was our first trip with our camper so we didn't know much different. We had to extend two nights because our camper needed repairs and they charged us $52.00 per night for those nights. That irritates me since we didn't even have full hookups.

The area is very beautiful and idyllic. Be prepared for horse dung all under your camper and truck since the Amish buggies get it all over the roads. The staff here is friendly. There is a fun little park for the kids. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
