I will start with the positives and say that the campsite provides a variety of activities for children. My son loved the bike rentals. They also have paddle boats, bumper boats and mini golf all for a extra fee. The playground is really nice as well. On the negative side the power is awful and so is the water pressure. We paid for a full hookup campground and that's what we expected to get. We had problems with the power dropping the whole time, even after the electrician supposedly fixed it, which he was rude about. Some of the food in the fridge went bad because of the power kept cutting off. The staff seemed annoyed with their "guests" the whole times that we were there. You would think that they would want the customers coming back. I will never stay here again. Oh and don't expect a great pool area, even though it's called Splash Magic. The 2 slides are awful and the pool was cloudy. Also most people are smoking and drinking not only at the adult pool but also at the other pool. I don't care if people smoke or drink but come on. This was excessive. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The site you were on has a brand new 50AMP and 30AMP service. It has a new pedestal and new wiring in the ground to a new 200 AMP service provided by PPL Electric. The problem with your voltage drop was explained by our electrician who is a licensed electrician in PA and also a certified RV mechanic. You have a 30AMP camper. You turned on your AC unit which takes 17 AMPS. You turned your refrigerator to electric which takes 7AMPS. You switched your water heater to electric which takes 12 AMPS. You had an outside refrigerator as well that takes 5-7 AMPS. You also had your inverter, lights and who knows what else running on your camper 30AMP service. Total amps you were drawing was at least 45 AMPS through your camper's 30AMP service. Your refrigerator and water heater are suppose to run on propane for efficiency and only be used on electric in emergencies. Ask your RV dealer if you don't believe me.

Been camping 22 years from starting off tent camping when kids were young to RV's, been all up and down the East Coast so we aren't new to camping or campgrounds. Looked this campground up on their website and it looked pretty nice actually the pictures on their website is what sold us on going. When we got there, it wasn't exactly like the pictures. The slides looked huge on the website and in fact were small but good for little kids. Bathrooms were adequate, few times they weren't clean and my husband wouldn't use them. Heard a few campers complaining about stuff on the floor. My neighbor was smoking weed just out at his site, I complained didn't do any good. They have a cop come through the campground every night to give out speeding tickets. It's 5mph and if you go go 1 mile over you get a 70$ ticket, I kid you not. It's catered to mostly seasonal. They fly through the campground on their golf carts going way over 5 but nothing happens. The biggest thing that threw me off is that you are allowed to smoke in the pools, when I say in the pools I'm talking literally in the water! The adult pool is a huge drunk fest, not a single person wasn't drinking in the water and smoking. Staff is not friendly and it was a run down place. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I've owned the campground for 15 years and never once has any police office passed out any kind of a ticket for speeding. Your claim about a police officer passing out a $70.00 speeding ticket is total fabrication. Our housekeeping staff cleans the bathrooms 8 times per day. It is very hard to control what customers do once they go in the bathroom and lock the door but we try our best to keep them all clean day and night. Your camper also has a bathroom which you could use if you wanted. We do allow our guest to have alcohol at the adult pool. The key word here being that this pool is reserved for adults. We do speak to some if we think they have been drinking too much. It rarely happens. In addition we pride ourselves on how great the park looks and how everything is kept up and clean. Thank you for your review but we do not feel that you were exactly honest with your comments.

We wanted to love this place because of all the activities, but it did not click for us, at all. If you smoke and are looking for a campground to party at, then you have found it. If you are looking for something more along the lines of a KOA or Jellystone...keep looking. Smoking was allowed anywhere in the pool area, so there is no getting away from it. The staff would sit at a picnic table right outside the office door and smoke, so you basically had to walk through it to get to the office/camp store. The staff themselves were mostly rude and very short with customers, except for the lady at the pool snack bar...she was very nice. Lots of drinking...everywhere. I am cool with having a couple of beers, heck I home brew, but when you have a pyramid of cans stacked up at the side of the pool next to a 2 gallon jug of frozen margaritas I think it says something about the mindset. The manager claims that barking dogs wont be tolerated, but they don't enforce it. We won't be going back...ever. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall we were satisfied with our week stay at Splash Magic. While we won't be running back, we would say the stay was adequate. There were a couple things to take note of.

- This campground is VERY busy. Most of the sites are VERY tight. We actually got lucky and had some of the largest sites there.

- The wrist band/activity fees are extremely steep, especially for the weekend. We had a special package, and if we hadn't we would not have stayed.

- The pool and slides were nice. But the adults here were pretty rowdy and we did not appreciate the smoking that was not only allowed but encouraged with ash trays around the family swimming area.

- Renting a golf cart was a must. The campground is huge and our site was a very long walk from the pool and even farther from the river. We could have driven but the amount of bikes on the road made it next to impossible to get around. The bike rentals are great, but there are bikes everywhere!

- Our sites backed up to the railroad and a factory. We were in a 5th wheel so the noise was not a problem for us. But could be if you are tent camping or in a pop up. The factory works 3rd shift and is noisy at night.

- Speaking of noisy, this campground is a late night campground. LOTS of people up really late. Again, not a problem for us but I could see it could be for others.

- Finally, they are adding a ton of additional campsites. This is going to make the traffic and number of bikes even worse.

I would say it was good for a weekend, but I am afraid that it was so busy that I wouldn't want to be there over the weekend. Things were clean though. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This would be a 10 rating if the owners were not so greedy. Great place, so much to do onsite, well kept BUT they charge you extra for everything except the pool, water slides, bumper boats, paddle boats, peddle carts all extra, and a lot extra and if you have kids under 12 don't forgot a helmet, o yes, they charge you for helmets. Most of the activities close early as well, somewhere around 5-6pm. I remember years ago this cg didn't milk you for everything. Funny how money changes a person/owner. It will cost you just as much if not more than your campsite fee if you want to enjoy all they offer. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the number one, worst place we have ever stayed. The staff is rude as anything and do not accommodate their customers. It is all about making money and not about making families happy. We would never come here, ever again. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is the second time we have stayed at this campground. Last year we were at a pond site, this year we had a river site. The river site was much nicer with more shade and a beautiful waterfront view. The site was a little narrow but fairly leveled. The bathrooms were clean. I like that they had one family shower stall in the bath house that we used. The water can also sometimes have a slight smell. My daughters enjoyed the pools and water slides as well as the activities. While you can purchase an activity package, we just purchased the water slide wristbands that were just $2.00 per person for your entire stay. This past weekend was Father's Day weekend and they had a free breakfast for the dads that was delicious. The road in is very narrow and the road by the river sites were partially gravel which made it hard for my girls to use their scooters. However, the road by the pond is paved. They had a DJ on Saturday night as well as Bingo. The workers were friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Tent Trailer.

First of all this campground does not have cable TV, they have an antenna on the roof of the store, they get 4 channels & they are fuzzy. As far as the Wi-Fi goes it doesn't work. Try to get your money back, lots of luck. (They charge for internet access). The pool is filthy, and covered in bugs. The water pressure is very low. The water is brown & smells like rotten eggs. It has a very small store with empty shelves. The sites are very small. I will not camp here again. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Ownership spent big money over the winter installing two awesome water slides and making some expensive aesthetic adjustments to the pool area. Also, the rates have only gone up a dollar or two since last year, which is pretty good considering the capital investments. There are several new full hook up sites along the lake, all of which appeared level and spacious. We did bump into a couple of grouchy employees this year, which was a first in five or six stays, but that this the exception rather than the rule. One of the long time work campers, "Splash" as he is known, was one of the nicest and professional workers here. He truly represents the campground very well. This continues to be one of the best values for your dollar if you have kids under the age of 16. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is located on the Susquehanna River, which is nice. Extremely small sign at entrance-if you blink, you'll miss it. This CG is located right next to a factory, which runs 24 hours. There is also a train operated by the factory as well. Very noisy. There is a beautiful pond for fishing, bumper boats and paddle boats. There are activities daily, even during the week. You can get an activity card for the kids, which is the best deal, to rent all the bikes and boats. Seasonal do not always follow the rules and decide to walk through your site. We were in the YD section by the pond-not much shade, but nice besides the irritating factory noise. River sites are probably your best bet for noise and location. Staff was friendly and helpful. I don't think we'll return here as there was very little shade. Internet service was very poor for a cost of $2.00 a day. If I need to pay, I should have service. Located about 1/2 hour from Knoebels great place. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This place is great for families with kids. There are many activities and the kids loved this place. They never got bored! The pool is a great setup and our site was nice. Neighbors were friendly and nightly security would patrol until 2 AM to ensure quiet time. Only negative item I can say is the internet access is spotty. It seems there are just too many users for their bandwidth. The policy changed to charge for wi-fi. If it helps I will glady pay the $2/day. I know camping/internet do not go hand in hand but I needed to stay connected with work. Everything was great and I can see why this park is busy. We rebooked for next year. Overall it was a great trip, see you next year! We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Splash Magic has become one of Pennsylvania's worst kept secrets. This is a truly outstanding facility that is about 90% full all week because of great rates and tons of activities. We stayed during Pirate Week and participated in all of the "silly campground stuff" that makes life interesting for a young family: treasure hunt, walking the plank and the standard fare of pool volleyball played by anything but Olympic rules. The attitude and spirit of the staff shows that they have bought into management's vision for what this campground should be. I'll gladly be a shill for the owner: next year will include an awesome water slide. The only downside to being PA's "worst kept secret" is that you have to book early, or in our case, early and often. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is OK. Showers are old & in need of updating. Water pressure throughout is very low. On the brighter side, there are a lot of activities for kids & the pool area is very nice. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
