3 Parks near Rockwood, Pennsylvania
May 2016 - $21.00
I can't say enough good things about this park even if we were here in off season. Access from the PA Turnpike was easy. Check in was smooth and efficient. Campsite accessibility was easy. Sewage hookup is away from the power and water hookups. Long, fairly level pull throughs. All sites face easterly with all being in full sun. Packed gravel interior streets with all sites being packed gravel/grass. Patio area is all grass with picnic tables. Cement fire rings on all sites. Campground really clean.
Small pool that was not open. New office being built. Small catch and release pond. Open air pavilion for gatherings and a few cabins on property. Our rate reflects a Passport America discount.
Seasonal sites are in another separate area from the transient area.
We will be back to this campground. - eaglesfan

We stayed one night on our way back to Maryland, a very quiet, clean well run park. Friendly staff. Would stay here again without question. - Maryland Travler
Sep 2015 - $15.00
This park is very pretty, has a lake to fish in, the owners are friendly and accommodating. We will be back. FYI: little to no Sprint service in the area. - Lucy and Ethel5w
Apr 2009 - $35.00
We left as soon as we saw what the campground was. Manager was going to charge us by the foot since we were over 26 feet but since we had already been quoted a price, the manager stuck with the original price. This is no place for a big rig or RV. I wouldn't recommend anything over 30 FOOT - the sites are shallow and is more set up for seasonal than for weekend camping. The transient spaces are not well defined or well kept. We couldn't find a decent place to set up so we had to scramble and find a near by state park and didn't stay. The owner charged us for a full night anyway even though we didn't stay and we couldn't fit the way we needed. The only good thing about the whole experience is that the lady was nice. Although charging us a full night was a little bit much. I'd say $10 would have been sufficient for the trouble. Again this is not for large RVs and is very tight - visual surroundings not very stimulating either. WE DID NOT STAY. - receveur
Oct 2015 - $35.00
This is a very nice campground. Mostly permanent campers with a few passing through. Over the last 2 years the campground has been cleaned up and updated by the owners. The Management has really step up to the plate to get away from the bad reputation this campground had and is doing a great job of cleaning it out and up! Many new activities have been offered and campground also offer co-pay for lots of out of park activities which is wonderful if you have children! There are a lot of negative comments on other sites that are years old. I can tell you as of September 2015 this place has really pulled it together! - Turtleman
Jun 2014 - $35.00
We've camped here in the past and this year, we see a great improvement in the campground and staff. They are cleaner, friendly, more helpful. The kids activity are great! The pool is clean and the great area in primative where you can fish. The golf carts are not as bad as it use to be. I recommend this campground! - Turtleman
Jun 2013 - $15.00
We came here on a whim. It wasn't impressive. But I think a lot of the other negative comments on here might be overblown. The check-in lady acted very friendly and professionally to me. My site was clean. I don't remember being any problems anywhere. - jamesontonya
