This was our second time at Hickory Hollow. Gravel roads but very well maintained. Mostly pull thru sites. There are 3 back in sites up next to the cabins. Leveling was a breeze. Hook ups were all newer and easily accessible. Two back in sites next to us actually had two sewer hook ups. Cable TV was a little snowy and not many channels but that is not the CG's fault. (Tried to catch some of the Olympics).

Sites have large concrete fire rings, not those tiny metal rims. Nice playground for the kids, a small residential style in ground pool. Seasonals are in their own area, only saw 1 golf cart in 4 days. CG is basically in the middle of a field so there is very little shade. At night it made great viewing of the Perseid meteor shower while there. (Kids loved seeing shooting stars every few minutes). We also saw a Bald Eagle flying over head daily. There is a stocked pond catch and release that the kids loved.

My family has moved our yearly family reunion to this CG we like it that much.

You will be hard pressed to find a nicer and cleaner bath house.

They do offer hay rides and have events on Weekends. It was a wing fling when we were there. Staff was very nice and even stopped to check in with us to see if everything was alright. We used the pavilion for our gathering which was great to have available. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly staff, clean grounds. Quiet and a convenient place to stay when visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial. Very little to do for our teenage children. The pool looked nice but, unfortunately, was closed the night we wanted to use it due to a "fecal" incident the night before. The park is good, but small for kids over 8. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I can't say enough good things about this park even if we were here in off season. Access from the PA Turnpike was easy. Check in was smooth and efficient. Campsite accessibility was easy. Sewage hookup is away from the power and water hookups. Long, fairly level pull throughs. All sites face easterly with all being in full sun. Packed gravel interior streets with all sites being packed gravel/grass. Patio area is all grass with picnic tables. Cement fire rings on all sites. Campground really clean.
Small pool that was not open. New office being built. Small catch and release pond. Open air pavilion for gatherings and a few cabins on property. Our rate reflects a Passport America discount.
Seasonal sites are in another separate area from the transient area.
We will be back to this campground. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Flight 93 Memorial within easy driving distance as is Walmart and Giant Eagle.
Also a nice outing is visiting Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, two houses that Frank Lloyd Wright built.
There are other attractions within a day's drive and these are listed on their website.

We stayed 2 nights on Passport America. This is a very clean park. Nice sites. The annuals are in their own section. The pool is a bit small. The bathrooms were sparkling. People were friendly and nice. Nothing really bad to say about park. Only reason not a 10 is the sites are not shaded, a little close together and the roads are all gravel. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.

Outstanding RV park. Most sites are large pull through sites. Quite, clean and well maintained.

A wonderful experience- On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, it rates as a 10+. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.

The roads and spots are gravel. Ours was level enough that we did not put down our leveling jacks for the one night we were there. They have a bath house, laundry, pool, hiking trails and activities. It seems like a place we should come back to and stay awhile. It is a ways off the turnpike, but not hard to find, our GPS took us without any issues. Tips for other Campers:

Small grocery up the road a mile, also a restaurant. Less than 6 miles to large grocery, Laundromat, and fuel. two miles further is wonderful RV service, "Happy Camper!" and they will drive to Hickory Hollow for mobile repairs

Beautiful open views for miles with a large pond stocked with good sized bass. Nice breezes; open starry night sky with no light pollution; open fields that are mowed for trails; some sites are shaded; can choose your site. Everything is new, works, clean and internet was rocking fast. Friendly people. A diamond in the rough. Will be tough to find such a nice and quiet place again. Want to go back. This is a nice campground with really nice owners. We have camped here several times while visiting family and friends in the area, and will definitely return in the future. It is a quiet campground that has clean and well kept grounds, restrooms, and laundry facility. The only negative we found is the laundry facility could use at least one more washer and dryer since there is currently only one of each. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well run campground! Seasonal sites are in a different section of the park. They keep their rigs and landscaping very clean. The casual camper will find the sites fairly spacious and level. Nice fishing pond for the kids. The bath house is excellent and new. My only complaint is the laundry. One washer & dryer for public use. The grounds are clean and roads well maintained. Maybe someday they will upgrade the laundry facility and playground area. The owners are very kind and friendly. The store is well stocked and priced fair. I will come back the next time in the area. PPA rate. Family owned and operated, no one lives on site and office closes at 5PM. Seasonal units are in a totally separate area and appeared clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful, responded quickly to questions about cable TV. There is no over the air TV here. Wi-Fi on site was good although at night it slowed way down. Without the filter the water was cloudy and the color of tea. With the filter there wasn't a problem. Heavy rains for two days revealed drainage issues in the lower CG. The CG is fairly new, a work in progress and should get better with the passage of time. While in the area a must see is the Flight 93 Memorial. We would return if in the area. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Large sites with plenty of spacing from neighbors. Owners very friendly and are constantly improving campground. Gravel quarry close by, but can barely be heard at night and very little during day. Seasonal sites in their own area and all are very clean with no junk around. Very clean and nice looking campground. One busy weekend so far but the noise was at a minimum and people respectful of other campers. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.
