We love this campground. We camp there yearly. 3 times every Summer. They are always nice, caring and helpful. So many improvements are made yearly. Great stays every time. We camped at Vacationland Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at this campground for 2 nights in order to visit and see attractions in the area. Stayed on row 29 site 9. The roads and sites are tight for “any” type of RV. Entering through the gate in a motorhome, it was impossible to reach the card swipe to open the gate because it is at car level and none at motorhome level. The wife had to get out and swipe in order to open the gate. Upon passing through the gate the entire length of the rig roof was scraped by low branches. And navigating the roads and into your site in a motorhome is all but impossible without people moving cars, fire rings and picnic tables. It is a three ring circus getting parked. Having previously explained to the campground upon reserving the size of our motor-home and it having four slides, proved to be of no benefit. Our site was so skinny it was impossible to open the driver side slide without hitting the power utility stand. Thus it was necessary to move the coach away from the power stool, which put the passenger side of the coach off the gravel and into the grass. At this point opening the awning was not an option as it would have extended into the road where there was much traffic as it was the main exit road for the bulk of the permanent and seasonal campers. The site was not level as it was low on the back end side which is not good when raising the back end of a motorhome. To achieve level would have required the rear wheels to come off the ground and we do not do that. Thus we spent the two days not level. And at the same time the sewer hose connection resulted in the hose running uphill to achieve a connection. It worked, but was certainly not ideal. Bottom line the campground is not “big rig” friendly; they should have told us straight up upon reservation that they can not properly handle the big rigs; however it is also not friendly for average RV sizes. The shape of the office building smacks of being a former KOA and most of those are pretty cramped if you have ever been to a few of them. The pool was not heated and too cold to use in early July, however it was not our intent to use this park for it’s amenities outside of a site hookup for our rig. There is one Wi-Fi connection that is free. From our site it was out of range. There are numerous strong Wi-Fi points which are part of the Mesh Network and require creating or having a Mesh Network account and paying for the time used. The power at our site was 50 amp and appeared to be recently upgraded as it was new looking. The metering within our rig showed the voltages to be acceptable at 117 and 118 per each line phase. The park is best suited to very small RVs such as pop ups and tent campers. Larger motorhomes should certainly avoid this place. We would not return. We camped at Vacationland Campground in a Motorhome.

We camped at vacationland over Memorial day weekend. We had reservations with our group but were given a different site because our site was occupied by someone not with our group. Our new site was right across from the garbage dump. Power supply read between 93 and 100 volts all weekend, not good. We couldn't use A/C which wasn't a problem until the garbage dump got ripe. It was 85 degrees all weekend. Seasonal campers advised the power issue is a common problem. This is an old park with very narrow paved roads. It is not easy to maneuver a large rig through. Good for tent campers or pop ups. Owner was not very nice to deal with. We will not be returning here again. We camped at Vacationland Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our site was by the main activity area. There was very high golf cart traffic at this campground which made it almost dangerous to walk or ride bikes. The noise was another factor which made our stay miserable. The bathrooms/showers were clean when we got here Friday, but by Monday they were very dirty, never cleaned all weekend. Trash cans were overflowing and scattered on the floor. On a good note, State Park right down the road has a great bike trail 11 miles long. Good fishing nearby also. Not sure if we would ever come here again. We camped at Vacationland Campground in a Travel Trailer.
