This campground is an excellent place to stay with your family. The owners are super nice and really aim to please all their guests. The staff is very professional and work hard to keep all areas maintained. I let my daughter run free with no worries ! We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

My nightly rate is an average of 4 day stay, as Wednesday and Thursday was priced at Passport America., and Friday and Saturday $53.50 This C/G is under new management for over a year. The camp host and owner were very friendly. They have 2 heated swimming pools, one outside and a smaller one inside. Many family activities, like Friday Theme dinners for as small price, and ice cream social later. And pot luck dinners on Saturdays with 50/50 drawing. The bath houses, pools, Laundry were all clean and bright. We stayed here in a 45' motorhome. We were able to maneuver the campground, but we did unhooked our tow. The wifi was poor. but we still enjoyed our stay here. We would come back if we end up in this area. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

THEY DO NOT ENFORCE THE SPEED LIMIT!! We came to visit family the 9th and 10th of June, overall the campground is not bad, beautiful wooded campground. They have a nice new big Pavilion completely enclosed that they have DJs and fans on them most weekends. Restrooms were pretty clean, the pools were very nice and clean. There are lots of seasonals at this site, some of which don't maintain their property. They need to control the speed that people are going. Not many speed bumps and when we decided to walk the kids and dogs down to feed the ducks a car came flying out the dirt lane way to fast, I hollered at them to slow down only to find out later when the vehicle returned and we pointed it out to a worker; it was a seasonal camper. The worker I spoke to was nice but explained they are trying to slow people down but they are ignoring the rules even though it has been addressed many times. This is unsafe and needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!! We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

The sounds of Brodheadsville close by has just about everything you would need from ShopRite to fast food and Chinese and hardware stores. There's even a great Sports Outfitter called Dunkelbergers.

We stayed at Silver Valley the first weekend in May. The campsite we had was very level but also narrow. The staff was friendly and the store pretty well stocked. The fishing in the two ponds was not that great. The campground was mostly seasonals. Most were in good repair but not all. We traveled with friends of ours and we had buddy sites so our doors opened up facing each, that was nice. All in all a pretty good trip. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed over the Memorial day weekend. What a nice place to stay. The new owners are working on making all kinds of upgrades and it's great to see. There were a few glitches like the neighbors behind the property firing off guns a lot. I did find out that the state police were there taking reports on this this 3 different times. They also had a water main line break on Friday night, saw the maintenance crew out working till 1 am and back at it Saturday morning 1st thing. The water was slow coming back, but was available at the bathhouse 99.9 % of the time. Kudos to the guys who were working so hard to get it back on for everyone. Like I said, a few glitches and you could see they were all trying to fix everything as fast as they could. Naturally on a holiday weekend something breaks, who hasn't that happened too? I would go again and again. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is crowded, messy, and interior roads are windy and hilly. Campground is very disorganized. Memorial Day weekend has us rather annoyed by neighboring property owners that are serious gun enthusiasts. Very loud gunfire was continuous and too close for comfort! Not much was spent on making this place beautiful and up to date. Amenities are out of date. Seems like for the money they charge, they don't have a lot to offer. One stay here is enough for us. The Crossings Shops not far away. Nice hiking and views near Camelback Ski Area (20 min away) and Jim Thorpe (35 min away). NOTHING to do in immediate area around campground. There are no ball fields or hiking trails within campground.

It was very clean the restrooms and showers. The water pressure was poor in our rv but in the restroom it was better. Our site was not as level as our neighbors took some doing to get it level enough so the bathroom door stayed closed. The pond was small but we all enjoyed catching fish. I will stay here again. Very nice camp ground. $49 a night but with PA discount only $24.50. Nice hosts, maintained very well, free cable and Wifi. Water pressures a little low but manageable. They had pull through 'companion' sites so if you're traveling with friends they can park in the opposite direction next to you and share tables and space for visiting and cooking out. They also had cabins for rent. Roads were a little winding to get here but we made it just fine with a 40' Class A with a toad. Community house had great laundry facilities, gym, very clean bathrooms and showers, indoor and outdoor pools. We'd definitely recommend this CG! We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.

Great location in the Poconos. Terrific office staff. Older showers, but clean, with strong water pressure and a large heated bath house. Verizon Mi-Fi worked well, and cable was good. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.

One of the few RV parks within traveling distance to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. For a small park, there are nice amenities. The pool (both indoor & outdoor) are spotless. Nice snack bar with breakfast on weekends. Sites are close together, but OK. Only issue is water pressure was horrible. Barely enough to rinse dishes with. We would stay here again when in the area. This our second time in two years staying at this campground. Just to let you know there isn't much in New Jersey, east Pennsylvania or south New York for full hook up CGs with CATV and WiFi. My GPS wasn't picking up on Silver Valley "Ct." I was here on a NASCAR weekend and it was nearly full. It looks like the owner is re-grading the roads (widen, fill-in, drainage) with quarry process. He also added a new building made from trees taken off the property. I say it is OK. However, the internet ran slow half the time. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent a few nights during the weekend spanning the last of September and early October here in a 33 foot rig. Stayed at a full-hookup site with electricity, water and sewer. Very nice campground. Well kept and clean. Lots of activities for kids. Friendly management. Outdoor pool was closed. Indoor pool was still open. We didn’t use it, but it looked very clean. Very nice, clean laundry. There’s a small restaurant which was open for breakfast on the weekend. Nice camp store and activity hall. Lot was small but adequate in size, however it was not level. Campground is a little hard to find. Lots of twists and turns off main road; be sure to watch for signs. The Meadow Brook Diner in Saylorsburg was a great place for a home-cooked dinner. Good place to explore the Delaware River Gap / Pocono area. We recommend this campground. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. Not very full the w/end we stayed, but may be due to a lot of the rainy weather in northeast this summer or near the end of the season. Stayed in one of their pull through sites which we weren't too impressed with, they are on a strip of grass with 6 of them tight against each other, not much room once you put out your awning. When we walked around we saw a lot of nice shaded sites, which might be more to our liking when it's not so muddy. Staff was nice, game room was OK, they have a pool table & lots of planned activities which was great because we had our 2 yr old granddaughter along, she LOVED the indoor pool. Did some sight-seeing, would stay again. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

A third of the campsite is hilly, the other two-thirds has a flat section leading down to a stream. We stayed in the flat section. Roughly about half the sites are shaded. They give a good effort to involve families in activities. The owner was real nice to chat with. The gravel roads to, in, and around can get a bit dusty if vehicles don't follow the 5 mph speed limit. The CATV and Wi-Fi worked well. It was quiet at night after 10:30 p.m. Dog friendly. Some of the hilly sites would not be too level. We camped at Silver Valley Campsites in a Truck Camper.
