Very pleasant campground. Extremely clean and all hook-ups worked fine. Did not try their WiFi because we have our own. All seasonal sites were unusually well-kept - really a well-maintained park. There is a small camp store with ice cream. Our only complaint: this CG is incredibly far from the major highways. It is very, very inconvenient to access, especially at the end of a long day of driving. We camped at Whispering Pines Camping Estates in a Motorhome.
This RV park is not too far off I-80, but it takes 25 minutes to get there following 487 as suggested on their website. Very back there, away from the world. We discovered it traveling and stayed 2 nights, PA rate. Because it is so peaceful and beautiful, we felt restored and decided it was worth two nights to immerse in the peace. Obviously a destination for locals for weekends, etc. Sites are grass but very level. Gravel road is easy to maneuver. Spacious. Excellent water pressure. No wifi, no reception on our Verizon, and our satellite would not work because of the abundant trees/forest. Local TV channels came in. We disconnected from Internet and SISH for the brief stay and just absorbed the beauty of the setting. The restrooms are immaculate. I had laundry to do after more than a week on the road, and although there is only 1 washer & dryer, both were clean and worked well. If you want hustle and hub bub, this would not be for you, but for nature, spacious sites, and the wonder of quiet, it worked for us. We'd return again if traveling that way. It is new, and there are some seasonal residences but all classy. No junky trailers and no garbage. The place is a gem and a blessing to travelers despite being away from amenities--stores, restaurants, etc. We camped at Whispering Pines Camping Estates in a Motorhome.
This is a lovely park for total relaxing! Ricketts Glen State Park is nearby for hiking or swimming. The sites are very well spaced with nice views. Lots of open mowed spaces as well as woodsy areas. People here are very friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are kept spotless by the owners. The only negative is the iffy Wi-Fi service, which is important given the lack of cell phone service. We would definitely come here again. Price reflects discount for Passport America. We camped at Whispering Pines Camping Estates in a Travel Trailer.

Great campground, sites are well spaced and clean. Management is great. Most sites are grass and gravel with many shady sites. We had planned on spending two days, but stayed four. Rate is Passport America discount. We camped at Whispering Pines Camping Estates in a Motorhome.
This campground has to be one of the most beautiful we've ever stayed at. If you're wanting to get away from it all then this is the campground to visit. Especially since you don't have good phone reception here, and you can only pick up Wi-Fi at the office or the bath house. They could stand to improve on the road access entering into the campground, it's pretty small if you have a big trailer. The owners are friendly. I would definitely stay here again, it's a beautiful place. We camped at Whispering Pines Camping Estates in a Fifth Wheel.
