1 Park near Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania

Let begin by stating the campground is definitely off the beaten path. You are somewhat close to the Poconos and the Casino Airy.
The campground is in a residential area. Pulling into the campground is very tight. It was a little confusing on finding which building was the main office. Once I located the office the staff was very friendly and checked me in very quickly. I was given a gate key and it was needed to enter and leave the campground. I proceeded to find my site, and the main road is somewhat narrow. Some of the trees could be cut back away from the road and there were a few low lying branches along the way. I was given site #51 which is in the back of the campground. The site was all gravel, very large and plenty of room for my 30 foot travel trailer. The picnic table looked new and the fire ring was very large. The site was very quiet probably because it was Monday and Tuesday night of the week. The pedestal was easy to get to, but it did not provide enough voltage. My power surge protector kept tripping just with my air conditioning on and my hot water heater. Let alone trying to watch tv at the same time. Water pressure was sufficient and the sewer was positioned in the middle of the site. The bathrooms were clean but could use some updating. The campground does have a pool and some playground equipment for the kids. - clw_man

We only stop here overnight on our way to Ohio. Pool is heated but air to cool for us to use. Wish we could stay longer as it is a wonderful campground. So clean and comfortable. Owners are wonderful hosts. - larbac

This is a nicely wooded campground. The sites are larger than most with plenty of room for slideouts. Our site was nicely graveled and did not require leveling. Check-in was easy and the owners are very friendly, helpful, and work hard to keep up the campground. Many sites are seasonals or people that have their trailers set up and come on weekends, but they keep sites available for travelers. Campground can get very busy on the weekends but quiet hours are observed. Pool area was nice and there are planned activities. Restrooms are older but kept clean even when busy. Rate was average for nine nights with Good Sam and Passport America. We would camp here again. - 21fbrs
