This is the second campground where I have camped (new RV owner). I picked one of the best spots that was close to the dam and backed right up to the creek. Showers and bathrooms were nice and clean. I WILL come back here again. This was a very nice experience We camped at Little Pine State Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

A very nice park to stay at. This was my first time back here in about 15 years. Pet sites are right next to the dam spillway, a big plus for us because it made checking up on the kids when they were fishing very easy. Nice large and level sites. Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice for a state park. No cell service down in the park, but if you go to the happy acres restaurant as you exit the campground you can get service with Verizon. This state park is one of our favorites. Some sites back up to the Little Pine Creek where you can put in your kayak and float down to Waterville (if water levels are sufficient). Hiking trails are ALL very strenuous, so you have to be in excellent shape to take advantage of those. If you enjoy bicycling, it's a short 4 mile drive to the Pine Creek Rail Trail parking lot. There is a nice store and restaurant in Waterville. There is wi-fi within walking distance at the store/restaurant parking lot just before the entrance to the campground. This is a nice state park campground. It is NOT heavily wooded & private like some, but does have shade trees and grass with paved spurs for the RV. Our site was huge, but others were smaller. There are some dog sites but I wish there were more because after the weekend crowd left most of the campground was empty except for all of us lined up together in the "dog end" of the campground. There also are only a few dog sites that our 35' camper will fit in. The roads are paved which was good for the kids to bike, and there is a stream right beside the campground which was nice for them to play in. It is very close to the Pine Creek Rail Trail for an easy scenic bike ride. The park also has a very pretty lake nestled by the mountains for swimming and kayaking but you must drive to it from the campground. We camped at Little Pine State Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

A scenic campground on the Little Pine Creek. No water or sewer hookups but water and dump station are nearby. A quiet scenic park in the mountains. A large lake is available at the top of the mountain that offers fishing, swimming and sailing. The restrooms are spotless and the park is at all times well maintained. The nearest town, Waterville, is quite small but has several nice hometown restaurants if cooking is not your thing. Highly recommended if you are not looking for plush amenities We camped at Little Pine State Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
