1 Park near Waymart, Pennsylvania
May 2015 - $80.00
We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend. Two adults and three kids. Both the holiday and kids impacted the rate ($80 per night).
Very nice park. Beautiful lake. Lots of activities. Very nice staff - really welcoming. Mostly paved roads (not all). You MUST take a boat out and check out the lake - great paddle boats. Nice restrooms - some seem to be recent builds.
Note that there are a LOT of kids and dogs. We had both, so met our needs.
The challenges: Our site was small - barely fit the slides due to a couple of evergreens. Needed more crushed stone - a lot of dirt at the sites. You had to pay for showers (not sure of the price). Campground was a bit pricey.
Bottom line - we enjoyed our stay and are booking again for next year. Partially due to proximity to our home - and the great activities.
Room Tip: Site 7 had a good view of the lake and very close to the beach/activities. Noisy as a result. Small. Next time we are staying up by the ball fields. - T.Butter
May 2015 - $51.00
For us, it was a short stay. It was nice to walk around. It had a big lake and pool. It was pet friendly and kid friendly and it had a nice feel to it, with a large seasonal crowd. We would return. - Virginia c
Sep 2013 - $51.00
This is a very large park, with most sites located on a hillside across a road from the lake. It was a long ride to the far end of the park to our site. Our site was one of two tucked in with some seasonals. Sites are very tight and not very level, although we were able to get reasonable level. Hookups were excellent, but Wi-Fi was very weak, either nonexistent, or on for a short time and then off. The park is a long way from highways for an overnight stop. We would not stay here again just for an overnight. - achmed
