Some of the sites were close together, others offered a little more room. Sites were paved and fairly level with grass. They were doing some construction while we were there so during the week it can be a little noisy. The lake had some really good fishing. Park rangers patrol regularly so they keep it safe and quite. We camped at Parker Dam State Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Typical state park, hiking biking swimming and fishing in the lake. Closest store was 15 miles away.
Very nice. Camped on the river very. Nice sleeping. State Park is beautiful with lots of trails. Camp ground is a ways back a narrow road. Lots to look at. We camped at Parker Dam State Park in a Motorhome.

A little out of the way but very good roads. Mostly level sites. Quiet. Nice post at each site to hang a lantern. Bath house was new and beautiful. Would go there again. We camped at Parker Dam State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night while passing through and this was just about the only campground open in this part of PA in late October. The loop road was narrow which made backing in a bit challenging, but the site was OK. From what we could tell, it seemed like a beautiful park with a nice beach on the lake and the campground was in a very wooded area. Not a lot of privacy, but great for a multi-site group. We were in the pet area, which was about 1/4 of the campground. Our rate reflects the senior discount with the non-PA resident uplift. We camped at Parker Dam State Park in a Motorhome.
State Park is beautiful. CG is more like a parking lot. There are shade trees between sites but little to no privacy from site to site. Site #2 is the nicest site by far. If you go,don't forget a canopy because you will be in the sun some or most of the day. As I said the park is really nice with a clean beach and nice lake. There are some really nice trails for hiking too. We camped at Parker Dam State Park in a Travel Trailer.
