The camp host/motel manager was very amicable. The road into the campground was composed of gravel needing some grading and low hanging trees. Unfortunately our entrance of bottom scraping and tree branch slapping did not impress us and damaged our RV. We were assigned site 9. The site was grass and gravel with full hook-ups. All other uninhabited sites were grass only. The water at our site was a light rust color and smelled strongly of iron. The campground is located behind the motel on a very green and lush looking hill, making for difficult leveling of our motorhome. Our children (ages 6 and 4 1/2 ) were not interested in the dilapidated playground. In general, the campground was very private and we pretty much had it to ourselves. I would not recommend this campground to any motorhome owner due to the difficulty getting in or out without damage. We camped at Grand Canyon Motel Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
This campground was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean and had recently been remodled. The owner was very helpful and check in with us to make sure we found everything. I would have given it a 10 but the hookups were in the middle of our two sites and you had to have two sewer hoses to reach. Other than that it was a great place to camp. We will be camping there again and I would recommend it to anyone. We camped at Grand Canyon Motel Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
