Wanted to make overnight stop near I-80 and selected this campground. Will not use again. Roads are extremely narrow, with many trees that limit access to site. Not suitable for long tows, we just barely fit with a 35 ft. fifth wheel and crew cab truck. Were given incorrect directions to site after check-in and had to ask permanent site owner to move vehicle so we could get past. Site had 30 amp only. The campground was quiet and clean, what we saw of it. Probably ok for shorter tows but not good for us. It is convenient to I-80. Overpriced for what you get. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
Pocono mountains very scenic. Very little in the way of services nearby, one truck stop with restaurant and gas at exit, had to drive 12 miles to obtain fast food.

We stayed for 1 night and found it convenient to I-80, being about 1 mile from the exit. The exit also has a small truck stop for diesel. The overnight area was closest to the main road, so we did have some road noise until late at night. The campground has narrow gravel roads, some which are in poor repair, and is heavily treed. Navigating our 41' 5'er, with 60' overall length required care and attention, especially at some of the tight corners. If you have a big rig and are new or not overly comfortable driving it in tight spots you might want to give this place a miss. Services were good, well located and of good quality. Wi-Fi was good. Site was long, level and had good spacing between adjacent sites. On arrival, the owner recommended an exit route, which I checked out and found 2 corners with trees, which would have been a real challenge with cars parked. When returning to the rig the neighbour advised they always take the route the owner doesn't recommend. This was also my preference, and while tight, it was better than the owner's recommendation. The last turn at the gate was real tight and if you aren't positioned correctly you might need to back up. OK for overnight, but wouldn't stay longer. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Price is including Good Sam discount and $2 cash discount. The campground is an average wooded campground. Lots of seasonal sites and the transient sites are near the road and mostly all pull through. Not a a lot of road noise was heard. Roads are tight, but big rigs managed to get through. Wi-Fi was strong and cell reception was good (AT&T). Very clean bathrooms and showers. Store was pretty well stocked, lots of camping t-shirts for purchase. They also have tent area at the top the of the campground. Lots to do in the area and would revisit if in the area. Easy on and off of I-80 and I-476. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.

We made an overnight stop, so this review is for that area of the campground. W/S/E were great. There is cable, but only works with a digital TV, which we do not have. WiFi was very good. The overnight sites, as mentioned by others are right near a fairly busy road. Truck noise was pretty bad until about 11:00. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight at the Good Sam rate. We had a nice long pull-through site that was very wide and level. The park is easily accessible from both I-80 and I-476. The overnight area is close to the road (not the freeways), but we did not find the road noise to be a problem. The park is a nice and heavily wooded with lots of long-term seasonal campers. The roads are a little narrow, but the overnight area is easily maneuvered. Restrooms are very clean, and the showers have adequate dressing space, as well. Excellent Wi-Fi and cable TV. Satellite users may find it difficult to get a signal because of the wooded nature of the park. We would stay here again; in fact, we would welcome a stay here for a week or so. It is lovely and evokes feelings of what "camping" should be...outdoors and back to nature. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.
Large campground built on the side of a hill. Mostly permanent with a few short term pull thru sites. Lots of tight turns and trees. Fairly level sites. Great internet and cell availability. Great WIFI. Located right next to the road(tress block the view) and the interstate is not far away so there is constant road noise. Although not that severe. Very nice and clean laundry. Well stocked little camp store. Easy on and off the interstate so I would stay there again. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.
Park is close to freeway for easy access, but no noise. Roads in park are paved, but narrow and wind through trees. Sites are dirt, need help to level rig. Only a few sites for short term stay. Those have open sky for satellite TV. Power, water, and cell (AT&T) were good. Not very close to shopping. We would stay here again. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.
Most of this campground seemed to be taken up by full time residents, with a lot of their sites appearing to be pretty dumpy. A lot of the area in front of the pond appeared to be under construction and wasn't very attractive. The sites in the back looked to be very nice and mostly wooded. The transient area for RV's was very close to Rte 940, and made for a very noisy environment and a not very peaceful night's sleep. Bath facilities were very clean. Campground personnel were friendly and helpful. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.

Did not find this campground on this website. Just happened on to in Trailer Life book. This seemed to be the only campground within 50 miles of Scranton that had the amenities we were looking for. Price was with Good Sam discount and $2 cash discount. Host very friendly and helpful. We were given a site along the southern perimeter so our rooftop satellite would work. The site was slightly unlevel, but workable. The interior roads are in need of some work. Since our site was on the perimeter and there is a busy highway adjacent, it tended to be somewhat noisy. We will stay here again, if in the area. We camped at Lehigh Gorge Campground in a Motorhome.
