Deciding on Haleeka was purely because of the very positive reviews here on RVParkReviews. Unfortunately, we had a very, very different experience. First, we have a very small motorhome (23-feet) and the entrance to the the park was quite small; our sides rubbed on plants on both sides as we entered. It is also directly on a 2-lane highway, making me a bit nervous to have to slow down enough to get straight down the narrow driveway. When we arrived an older couple said their son usually takes care of the park, but he was out of state. They showed us the site we were supposed to be in, but the person in the run-down trailer next to it had quite a bit of trash and it had cascaded over into the site. Instead, I was shown another site. In this one, the sewer pipe came out of the ground and extended for about 10 feet and ended in a pipe opening that would not take a thread and, because it was pointed along the ground rather that straight up to the sky, just placing our sewer tube into it would have caused sewage to leak on the ground. Then I discovered the water faucet was dry, and told him that the site was unacceptable. He then offered to put me into another site with only electrical and water and would tell the run-down trailer person to clean up his trash. All of these things caused me to just say, no thanks, we'll be moving along. While the park landscaping looked nice, all but 5 of the sites were occupied by other very trashy, run-down trailers that looked like they hadn't moved in many years, and I just didn't feel comfortable. Also, when I asked about the WiFi, they first told me they had no idea what that was, and then said their son took care of that sort of thing. Overall, this RV park was not for us, so we moved on and found another park in the area. We camped at Haleeka Campground in a Motorhome.

Haleeka Campground, owner at Haleeka Campground responded to this review

Dear Unsatisfied Customer,

My Name is Rob and my elderly parents are the owners of Haleeka Campsites. We are a small, rural, family run campground. Yes on weekends I work out of state, but until your review this arrangement has always worked well. There is an abandoned RV on our property that we are currently taking the legal steps to have removed. Yes it is a little rundown, but we cannot legally remove it yet. I am sorry you were parked next to it. That being said unless you are accustomed to campsites that have single lots an acre large, nothing on this adjoining site was "cascading" onto yours.
Our campsite is located on the northern end of Lycoming Creek Road, a small rural road with very little traffic. Frankly if pulling off of this rural two-lane road makes you nervous, perhaps you need to examine your driving comfort threshold and omit such a subjective criticism from a review.
The second site you were shown has functioning water and sewer. Before you arrived that site was occupied daily and after you left that site is being currently occupied. To my knowledge not a drop of sewer went anywhere but down into the tank.
At our campground we cater to people who have a variety of RV's, some new and expensive others a little older and well used; but none that I would call trashy.
To the individual who was so unsatisfied at our green little campground on beautiful Lycoming Creek, I can only assume that you are that species of humanity that thrives on drama and negativity, and that anything less than absolute perfection sends you into a frenzy of pettiness.
Over the years we have had tens of thousands of visitors to our campground that have thouroughly enjoyed their stays and left enchanted. To any potential visitors to our little corner of the world, please feel free to contact us and/or come for a lookaround and judge for yourselves.

Thank you,
James, Maria and Rob Walbridge

This was a great campground! We would stay here again anytime! The staff was great and the restrooms were in great shape. Very nice park! We'll come back again! We camped at Haleeka Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Small park on a small creek north of Williamsport PA. Resident manager. Our 37 foot 5th wheel just did fit into largest available site. Very quiet, most RV sites are wooded, about 1/3 are located along the creek. About 2/3 of sites appeared to be seasonal campers with a few apparently permanent residents. Water is lightly sulfurated, use bottled water for drinking. We stayed about a week and found the facility clean and relaxing. No satellite friendly RV sites. We camped at Haleeka Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
