Our experience at Little Mexico was all right. The staff were very nice. Our site was difficult to get into with the pool directly across from our site with very little space to maneuver with vehicles and golf carts parked for the pool and the site being very narrow. They only have a few full hookup sites available. The campground is right next to Penn's Creek so if you like to tube or kayak it is a great location. If they would add more full hookup sites that are easier to get into we might think about returning. Make sure you use the route that brings you in off route 304. I understand that the other routes are not very good. One brings you down a very large hill and across a one lane steel bridge that is 13'10" high in the middle and 12'8" on the sides. We crossed this bridge on our golf cart and went up hill to experience the ride they had. Boy, am I glad we did not come that way. Not sure if we will be returning for another visit. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great campground! Clean, well maintained, a lot for the kids to do and a short ride to Knobels and the Bloomsburg Fair. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with the first site provided to us and the owner came right over, moved us to a new spot, help us back in and stayed for a bit to make sure everything was good. We will definitely be back! We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband and I have been staying at different campgrounds through out the summer and have finally found the perfect spot, at the very end of the season. We camped this past weekend and discovered a place that we want to be our camping season place. This special place is Little Mexico Campground in Winfield PA. The scenery is absolutely beautiful everywhere you look. There is not one, not two, but three ponds in which you may fish or just relax sitting on one of the many benches scattered around. There are many campsites right along Penn's Creek, which is where we stayed. It was so serene and peaceful and had ample space to enjoy time with our family. The guys could fish from our site. We also found the best deal on firewood! Nothing beats sitting along the water with the fire going and loved ones around you. There was so much space for both kids and adults to play any type of sport. There was horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, basketball, ball fields, mini-golf and an arcade for indoor fun. Many different activities were also available for campers to participate. Their store had ample supplies from a large selection of candy for the kids to RV supplies and everything in between. It is the largest camp store we have seen. The pool seems extra large and we cannot wait to be in it when the weather is warmer. The campground is also very safe for both kids and dogs. The speed limit is 5 MPH, and everyone actually followed that rule. Kids may ride bikes safely here. The playgrounds are wonderful and set up for much creative play. We are so excited to take our granddaughters to these play areas next season. There's cable and Wi-Fi, but we did not need that with all we did. The bathrooms are clean and the water is hot and efficient. We were very comfortable everywhere we went and with everything we did. The most amazing part of all was the staff. Everyone was so extremely helpful, from explaining things to delivering items to sharing of local information. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Tent.

We had a great weekend, it was very nice. Everybody was friendly; they had live entertainment. We went tubing down the river and our site was open and spacious. Our sites for newly renovated easy to get into and easy to get out of, very wide compared to other campgrounds I have been to. They had 50 amp hook up, cable, Wi-Fi. Everybody at the campground treated you like family. It was beautiful to be right on the river. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great campground with lots to do! There's fishing, golf cart rentals, themed weekends, various activities, kayaking, tubing and so much more! They have a great camp store and friendly staff. The campground is clean and tidy. The campers are friendly and very welcoming. A great atmosphere to just relax or take a walk or ride your bike. The sites by the creek are beautiful. We always have such a great time at this campground! A must place to visit! We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Sellingsgrove is approximately 10 miles from LMC. On the strip there is a mall, grocery stores, Walmart, lots of food and dining and much more. Knoebels Amusement Resort is only 23 miles from the campground.

Very nice CG in a quiet rural area. There are lots of trees and a slow moving river at the back. The wifi was excellent. We were almost the only ones there and were the only transient--the CG was closing the next weekend. A great place. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is Passport America. Getting to this park is an adventure; through farmland and then a narrow, winding road that at one point comes within a foot or so of a house. This is a large seasonal park with only a few full hookup, back-in sites for travelers. Interior roads are gravel, and most sites are grass. Our site was within 8' of the laundry and restroom doors, and the night-long banging of doors was an irritant, and sitting outside with all of the traffic was uncomfortable. Active and noisy on the weekend, but fairly quiet during the week. The free WiFi was weak and generally unusable. No cable, but clear shot at the satellites and Verizon cell and data were strong. Fairly well maintained, but not really suited for travelers, this park is too far off the main roads unless you're visiting someone in the area. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Motorhome.

This was the first time at this campground and we had a great time. Came with a large group and everyone was able to camp together, the campground wasn't full but it's still early in the year. The staff was friendly and ready to help with any problems. The bathrooms were clean and conveniently located. A nice quiet place with plenty to do and not far from town. In reading a previous review of this park from last year I have to wonder if we visited different parks! Although the park was filled to capacity over the holiday, I found the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. We were met in our vehicle upon arrival and checked in. Since we had held the reservation with a credit card we were allowed to go get set up and come back later to settle the bill. I felt this was fantastic as it kept the line of campers moving. They had planned activities for the kids almost all day on Friday and Saturday and when weather became a problem they had alternative activities ready. My neighbor had a handicap child who was unable to participate with the others and Tina brought activities to our site that she could do. Their fireworks display was as good as the ones we saw in a nearby town the night before! As far as the sites being cramped I can agree with that on 8 of the sewer sites, but otherwise their sites are very spacious. More than many other campgrounds I have been to. From an outsiders prospective their 1 bath house near the pool needs work, but having spoken to our neighbors who stay there regularly they have been working hard to upgrade the facilities. Our neighbors told us that the bath house by the cabin used to look like the one by the pool but now it is beautiful tongue & groove and tile. They have also put in a handicap ramp by the store, put some of the utilities underground and are upgrading to 20-30-50 amps. Again, I recommend this campground to any family for 1 night or the entire season. Having spent 4 nights there I put my name on their seasonal waiting list. I truly felt like a guest! This is a nice park. We were here for a mini rally. The power is not very good. With the summer heat and a/c's running we were in low voltage of 110 or less. I'm not sure we would stay here again in the summer. If they redo the power it will be a great campground We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Here for a rally. Park has a nice layout of 12 rigs in a circle around a pavilion. Park was clean and seemed well maintained. Many, many seasonals but all in the main section were neat and in good shape. Couple of those in the section over the bridge are not so nice. Electricity was adequate most of the time, but dropped to 107 volts at peak (low 90's) temp with most everyone's A/C running. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground was just "ok." Sites were a little cramped, but other campers seemed very friendly. The campground boasts a "My House is Your House" promise that you are not just a customer, but rather a guest in their home. However, when ever we brought an issue to their attention we were met with argumentative staff that wanted to prove to us why we were wrong. The staff was generally unhelpful. The fishing is not good at all -- despite what their website says. The pool is an above-ground model, but is very nice. It's not a bad place to stay while traveling, but I wouldn't plan a vacation to this place. Also there is a tight turn at the corner of a home that literally borders the narrow road to this campground. We camped at Little Mexico Campground in a Travel Trailer.
