Located about 1 mile from the Confederation Bridge and adjacent to the road, noise is definitely an issue. The grounds have trees in the back, but the front is literally an open field with access road down the middle. The 50 amp sites are at the front, close to the road and noise is definitely an issue - 24/7 as every vehicle using the bridge drives past the campground. Our section was basically a grass field with services. Sites are very close, with our off-door side slide outs at the line and the awning on the other side actually over the line. Fortunately, they weren't busy and only filled every 2nd site, which made it comfortable. Services are well located, but water pressure/volume is low. The sites slope side to side and also front to back. They also had a drop off on either side of the road. WiFi was good. Positives - staff were very pleasant. We camped at Borden-Carleton Confederation Bridge KOA (formerly Sun-N-Shade Campgro in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean, quiet and well kept campground. Friendly staff. We stayed here a few days and enjoyed the live music in the music hall that happens each weekend. The new heated saltwater pool was amazing! The campground has seen a lot of upgrades since it became a KOA as we stopped here a few years back before it became a KOA. Cable TV is available in the game room along with free pool tables. When we were leaving they were installing a jumping pillow. Very easy on and off the highway. We camped at Borden-Carleton Confederation Bridge KOA (formerly Sun-N-Shade Campgro in a Travel Trailer.

Rate shown for 30 amp back-in. Our site was level grass and while backing in hit a patch of torn up sod and dirt. Noticed that other sites in that area up front had the same condition. So be careful while backing up in those spots. Road noise was heard as site wasn't that far from the highway. Sites were very close and no privacy at all. Cable TV may be available, but only at a few sites. We didn't have one, so don't know how it worked. There were six channels off the antenna, but only three networks. Wi-Fi was strong, but controlled to prevent excessive downloading or hogging of bandwidth. Free entertainment at the hall many nights of the week. We might stay here again, but in the back further away from the highway. We camped at Borden-Carleton Confederation Bridge KOA (formerly Sun-N-Shade Campgro in a Motorhome.

A nice park located right over the Confederation Bridge. The owners were extremely good at listening to our requirements when we made the reservations and then following through and delivered exactly what we were promised. Pull-through sites have no shade at all. Back-in sites have afternoon shade. Wi-Fi works at the office and laundry, but not at the sites. The park is very well maintained. If you like lobster, there is a fresh seafood store right across the street where you can get cooked or fresh lobster at a very reasonable price. We would stay here again. Great place. Grass sites. Pull throughs are really close together however. Centrally located on PEI. Confederation Trail is right next door. We stayed here a week. We camped at Borden-Carleton Confederation Bridge KOA (formerly Sun-N-Shade Campgro in a Motorhome.

If your coming off the Confederation Bridge onto Prince Edward Island, this is the first campground you hit. We got here through some word-of-mouth referrals and were: A. glad we did and B. sorry we hadn't planned to stay longer. It's a really nice place to stay with a huge music offering. Additionally it's about 50 meters from the Confederation bicycle trail which runs the whole length (300km) of PEI. What could be sweeter? Check out the web-site. We'd come back. We camped at Borden-Carleton Confederation Bridge KOA (formerly Sun-N-Shade Campgro in a Travel Trailer.
