May 2012 - $19.00
Rate was 250 pesos a night. Free Wi-Fi signal almost reached our unit. Improved electric and water connections. Very quiet, except for lots of fireworks as part of a religious holiday. A few friendly dogs run loose in the place. There is a mall and an OXXO within 1 km. - stampeder

GPS coordinates: 19.07242 N, 98.29568 W. This campground is kind of an afterthought—it’s as if a not-very-successful motel decided to let RVs park in its courtyard. It also looks as though the motel/park used to be thriving, and parts of it are now closed. The park has additional RV spaces, a pool, and barbecue area that appeared to be abandoned. There’s also an old disco that is now being used as a clubhouse. In the corner of the disco, you can plug in your laptop and get a little bit of a Wi-Fi signal, but not much. The water is pretty standard for Mexico—not much pressure, but enough to fill our tank so we would treat it. The 15-amp power worked fine, but the wiring is a little funky. The turn into (and out of) the park is very tight: You have to turn off a narrow side street and through a gate. It was tricky, but we managed. Lots of people cut through the park on their way to a nearby neighborhood, but the park seemed safe and secure anyway. Our main complaint was that it was hard to figure out how much to pay and to whom. We found it easy to walk to the nearby shops and Bodega Aurrera to get groceries, and there was also a lavandería nearby. We took a cab to see the Cholula pyramid for 30 pesos. The pyramid ruins were fascinating, but the tunnel inside has collapsed, so you can no longer do that part of the tour. (The actual cost per night was M$250 pesos.) - Family on the road
