We stayed four nights in our 34' rig with tow dolly and vehicle. The Managers are the nicest people. The park was very clean. There are trains that go by, but they didn't bother us. It's a great park for children. There are a lot of permanent residents, but they are all upscale units and settings. We camped at Montreal West KOA in a Motorhome.
Quite a bit longer than my motorhome and a towed vehicle
Fire Ring, Picnic Table
Space Between Lots
Nearby, Very Close
Sun & Foliage
Some Shade, Mostly Shady
Tow Vehicle Parking
Tips for other Campers:
We drove to Montreal every day, but there is a train and subway worth looking into. Parking in town was not as difficult as we heard.
Paid CAN $ - do not know the US equivalent. Staff were efficient and friendly. Services were good. Not a lot of space between sites but adequate for awning extension. Only real issue here was the need to provide gravel to fill low spots in sites. Rain overnight left minnie lakes that had to walk through to get to truck. Would not hestitate to stay again. We camped at Montreal West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Typical KOA. Lots of road noise as stated in other review. Train across highway, too. Don't think we would stay here again. Pool is right next to highway and you can't talk to others while sitting by the pool. Clean, good laundry, friendly staff. We camped at Montreal West KOA in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice staff. Campground was clean and well maintained. The dog walk area was small but did have a trash can available to dispose of waste. Laundry was extremely nice. There were activities for the children. I would stay here again if I visited this area. We camped at Montreal West KOA in a Motorhome.
This campground is 40 miles west of Montreal, an easy run on the Hwy. We had a spacious pull-thru and when we had to stay an extra night because our truck was being repaired they moved us to another site with no problem. The place was full and the road noise from Hwy 20 is horrendous, it never stops. The staff are pleasant and do speak English. It's clean and tidy and fairly typical KOA,and good value for money. The entry road nearly 1/2 mile) is unpaved and very rough, also there are lots of speed bumps which you can't see. The fire rings are badly placed, too close to the neighbors. If we were returning to Montreal we would camp here again. Don't park at Atwater Market it Montreal, Our truck was broken into there. We camped at Montreal West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
