The bilingual owner and his wife were very helpful and friendly. Two thirds of sites were long stays and paved. We were on graveled sites with more transient campers with ESW. Sites were fairly close with grass between sites. No trees. The very clean bath house had numerous toilets and coin operated showers. Some minor noise from close by freeway. There was a small laundry. The CG is located SE about 8 miles from Levis, which is just south across the St. Lawrence seaway from Quebec City, and the major attraction for our visit was the CG provided free minivan shuttles three times a day to the ferry at Levis crossing to Quebec City. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

A well kept park with a combination of permanent and intransit sites. Sites are level in the section we were located. Grass area is well kept and the hookups are convenient and worked without issue. Owners run a shuttle to the ferry terminal in Levis so it is easy to visit Quebec City without having to worry about transportation. Park was quiet given the time of year so those staying were spaced out nicely. Sites seem fairly roomy. Gravel roadway and we had no problem navigating to our site with turn or tree issues. Enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area again. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Last minute reservations. Owners very nice and helpful. Many permanents in this friendly community. Pets are ambassadors as is our dog. As is end of season and many open spaces, we were allowed to wash our RV/car on site. Good connections; dump station used. From time to time there was an odor of compost; our site st back was strangely not odorous. REASON FOR ONLY a 9: Showers: way too hot; 1 quarter/3 minutes. Office has change. Clothes dryers x4 do not dry sufficiently; 1/2 my wash was damp and hung in RV; rest I took to another laundromat/another town. A BUG waste of quarters!!!!! 1 quarter/4 minutes; Washer: $1.50. Otherwise a great laundry room set up. Owner informed. Would stay again however. Note there's a shuttle to ferry for Old City Quebec; 0850/return @ 4 pm. We drove as dog in RV; didn't want to be gone that long. Parking fee $8/day. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Very helpful personnel here, from giving suggestions about restaurants for dinner with easy to follow directions and free car service to Levis for a short ferry ride into Quebec City. Site was long and level, just a little close to the neighbor, but not bad. Utilities were good and conveniently located. They offer Wi-Fi for an additional $ 2.50 per day but we didn't try it. A nice little pool and good clubhouse. No cable but clear view for satellite and a few over the air stations. There is some traffic noise from AR 20, but not bad as they have a line of trees shielding the highway. We would return. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Nice clean campground with very friendly staff. Many permanents, but very well landscaped and clean. It was a little tight making a few turns in our 44' motorhome, but not a major problem, you are escorted to your site. Large, grass spaces. They do charge for wifi which we did not pay because when we got parked I checked and the reception didn't look very strong so we just used our phone data. It's about 40 minutes to drive in to Old Quebec City, but worth the drive. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

We stayed here again this summer and nothing has changed since our last review...and excellent park, with friendly owners/staff who are bilingual and maintain the park well. Sites are level & all services are good but wifi is 2.50C a day and good. This is THE place to see Quebec City from. The ferry is the way to go and leaves Levis every 1/2 hour or so. Levis is 10-15 minutes by car and there is parking AT the ferry terminal...or just use the campground free shuttle to see Europe without crossing the Atlantic! We will return again. We travel with another couple who has a motor home. They were able to put us next to each other in large pull through sites. Utilities were good and antenna TV reception was good. The laundry was nice and reasonable. They even had a clothesline. There was a little traffic noise from the highway, but not bad. The management takes you to your site, and they were very helpful with directions and suggestions. It's just a short drive to Levis to catch the ferry to Quebec. We camped at Camping Transit in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We took a nice drive to Montmorency Falls and Isle d'Orleans the afternoon we arrived. The next two days we drove to Levis and took the ferry to Quebec. What beautiful views of Chateau Frontenac and the city from the ferry. The walking food tour was excellent. It was about 3 hours of history and food on a pretty easy walk, and the guide, Samuel, was great. The hop on hop off bus was also a great way to get a feel for a larger part of the city.

Fantastic campground with very friendly staff! Lots of seasonals here but everyone would say "allo". The transient campers are in a specific area with plenty of space between spots. Nice pool with lifeguard and the restaurant had decent pizza. They have a free shuttle service to the Lévis Ferry that takes you right into Old Quebec. The shuttle picks you up too at the end of the day. Staff was perfectly bilingual. Wifi was extra cost but worked flawlessly. Only downsides were the highway traffic noise and then occasional waft of manure. Try to get a spot towards the office to minimize the noise. We camped at Camping Transit in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a week. Paid for 6 nights got 1 free. This park is a very good and busy park. Weddings, car rallies etc. take place here. The owners and children all work to make sure everything is looked after. We had to move after 3 nights but he managed to find us another spot. The pool, hot tub, playgrounds and hall are well used. There is a free shuttle a couple of times a day to take you to the ferry (to go across to Quebec City) and pick you up, or you can park @$8 at the terminal. We enjoyed this place for 5 days. Then on the 6th day we opened the door of our RV and were hit with an awful smell. Apparently 3 times a year, the farmers around the RV Park are allowed to fertilize their fields. It made it impossible to sit and relax or eat outside, though some of us managed to continue our walks. The eau de stink continued the next day when we left. We saw rigs arriving. Don't know if they could cancel or didn't care as were out all day. Anyway now you know and can ask before you book - just in case! If fertilization was not to occur, we would have no problems returning. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Old Quebec city is an UNESCO world heritage site. Feels like old France. The castle-like Château Frontenac is something to see at night on the ferry going back. Lots of activities in the city. Ferry costs $3.50 or $7 round trip, 15 minutes trip. Restaurant Aux Anciens Canadiens offers old Quebec style cooking. For $19.98 you get a very satisfying 3 course meal with a glass of wine or beer. Parc National de la Jaques-Cartier is @an hour north. The Les Loup trail is a local fav.

Stayed at this park for 6 nights in a fifth wheel while visiting Quebec City. Upon checking in were we greeted by the husband and wife team who own and run this park. And following the efficient checkin, we were escorted to our full service large grass pull through site by their son. These folks are probably the most friendliest, accommodating and welcoming owners you will ever encounter. The park was extremely clean and all the sites were spacious and well kept. The Wifi was fast but there is a charge of $15.00 per week for two devices. The roads are wide enough to navigate and like all of the park, are in good shape. If you want to visit Quebec City, the owners will shuttle you to the Levi Ferry Service which crosses into the downtown area and they will also pick you up upon your return. Overall this is a great park and we would recommend staying here while you are in the Quebec City area. We camped at Camping Transit in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a good mix of full timers and transient spots. The owner is one of the nicer owners you'll meet. He guided us into our spot, which he does for every guest! Spots are mixed gravel and grass. We paid pittance or wifi and guess what? It doesn't work! Use your hotspot. We were nice and close to Quebec city, take in the old town. We parked downtown for $16 for the day. If you wan to save a couple dollars, drive to Levis, take the ferry across. Definitely will stay here again. We camped at Camping Transit in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground, located off A20 in an agricultural area, is a great location for visiting Quebec City. It has quite a few tastefully maintained seasonal campers. Full service transient sites are close and offer no privacy. There is a bit of road noise from A20 which is blocked by some trees. Water and Sewer was fine, but, the electric at our site had an issue with an "open ground" which was thankfully picked up by our Progressive Industries EMS. WiFi was good but they charge $2.50 CAD for it. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. They offer a shuttle to the Quebec City Ferry so no need to deal with parking. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was filled to capacity for a local group special event but we heard it's good. Would stay here again when planning a trip to Quebec City. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Price quoted is in Canadian dollars. As stated in other reviews, the campground is next to a major highway. Noise is constant but not distracting. Very friendly owners. We did take advantage of the free shuttle to the Quebec City ferry. During our stay, the road to the campground was resurfaced which smoothed out the formerly bumpy road from the highway to the campground. Wifi worked well. Laundry worked well.
