2 Parks near Mont-Louis, Quebec

Beautiful views, good one night or longer stay - Big Rig Friendly.
We stayed at Parc et Mer Mont-Louis for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The campground is big rig friendly, with 50 and 30 amp full hook-up sites. We reserved an electric only, 20 amp site to maximize our water views - we were very happy with our choice. We liked the views so much that we decided to spend 5 days enjoying the beautiful water views, forgoing our planned excursions.
If you would like to stay hooked-up during your stay, I would recommend one of their pull-through sites. They offer pull-through 3-service sites, with either 30 or 50 amp service. - 2FullTimersinaFifth

Staff were helpful and friendly. Did not speak English. Facilities were clean and tidy. Used laundry but only washer and one dryer ($2cdn each.) Site was level and exposed on a big grassy area. Might need support under jacks in the rain. Wifi (free) OK. Beautiful views of the St Lawrence in three directions. If coming from the West, be sure to take second entrance not first, as noted on GPS. If you take first, you'll have to go up a steep hill. - rvbravo2

This is probably the nicest park along the northern shore of the peninsula. If you are looking for resort style camping you are not going to find it in this area. I would have rated this higher if the WiFi was free, it is $3 for 1/2 hour, and the maintenance was a little better. There was a short interpretive trail that has become overgrown and the info signs have been removed. Great views and sunset from the campsite. There is highway noise during the day, but it is quieter at night. - VtLee

Large municipal park in a valley a couple of kms from town and the St Lawrence River.
Park is heavily wooded. Many sites are surrounded by trees and bushes - difficult to see your neighbours. Like camping in a state or provincial park, not a commercial "resort". We loved it!
Check-in staff were not bilingual. When I made my reservation for 2-night stay, the mayor called me back and took my particulars. She said it was a good thing that I called as neither staff member at the park spoke english.
Only negative was $4 charge for 3-minute shower. Needless to say we used the shower in our rig.
Wifi was available (if I remember correctly) at and around the park office.
We would stay here again. - DCM/JMB
