3 Parks near Saint-Philippe, Quebec
Jun 2015 - $28.00
This park is very convenient to Montreal City and attractions. The sites are comfortable: not too small, not very large. There is an office, common use building, playground, beautiful swimming pool and area, restaurant. Safe, clean, cozy spot. Passport America discount applies. Owners take cash only as payment and totally ignore exchange rate. Not very friendly, but well run. Some seasonal residents and travelers. - MargaretL

Less than a 1/2 hour from Old Montreal, this is a very well-kept park where many sites occupied by long-term residents have been seriously upgraded with pavers, sheds, etc. -- all done very tastefully. The wide, smooth gravel driveways give easy access to grass sites with smooth, level, gravel parking pads plenty large for our 37' MH & toad. A bonus was classy appointments including a paver patio, a barbeque, patio-style table & chairs, and a swinging chaise. Water, sewer, and electricity hookups were convenient, though we used only 30 amp. Free WiFi was reliable and fast (maybe because the park was not very full at this time of year). We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry. Service was courteous and pleasant, and included a golf-cart escort by a fellow who even helped guide us into our back-in site. Price shown is net of a 40% off-peak discount. We thought it was a very good value for the amenities offered. - DaveInOhio

A large commercial campground with very new, modern facilities. Excellent roads, campsites, utilities, a little bit out of town in the farmland, but very nice. Pretty expensive, but absolutely no problems - we even had a covered porch swing, and a wrought iron outside dining table and chairs. A large community-room building holds games areas, library, dining facilities and large wrap-around porch for rally groups, church services, family reunions, etc. A very nice place to stay while visiting Montreal. - North Texas DJC

What a delightful and hospitable place. As American traveling in French-speaking Quebec we were treated with a fair amount of disdain in the Montreal area but not at this RV resort. Staff is bilingual and go out of their way to make sure their guests are accommodated. We needed to make a reservation at another CG further north (no English spoken on the distant CG's recording machine) and the local folks were more than pleased to make the reservation for me.
The sites are fairly level gravel, with utilities close by and convenient. Each site has a patio made of beautiful pavers, a glass-topped patio table with chairs and a lovely matching swing plus a bar-b-que. The pool was well used, the gym and hot tub looked like there wasn't much use.
There are many permanent residents who take exceptional care of their yards. A gorgeous place to live.
I agree with previous posters - worth the money. - LFClary

This is a very large RV park catering mainly to seasonal trailers with hedge lined roadways and sites. The sites for short term, nightly RV's number 4 small back-in and one large back-in with full hookups. Really not meant for motor homes, except for the large back-in site. They did say that they had another area for larger RV's up the hill via a different entrance. As it was full we did not see what it was like. For our short 3 nite stay is was OK as we spent most of our time sightseeing in Montreal. However, thinking back that I had made this reservation 3 months earlier, I think we should have been able to have a pull-thru site in the other area. If you make a reservation here be careful to verify what kind of site you will get. Maybe because it was a PA reservation, that is all you get, but verify. - Michael Kibler
