1 Park near Saint-Philippe, Quebec
Sep 2015 - $23.00
Less than a 1/2 hour from Old Quebec, this is a very well-kept park where many sites occupied by long-term residents have been seriously upgraded with pavers, sheds, etc. -- all done very tastefully. The wide, smooth gravel driveways give easy access to grass sites with smooth, level, gravel parking pads plenty large for our 37' MH & toad. A bonus was classy appointments including a paver patio, a barbeque, patio-style table & chairs, and a swinging chaise. Water, sewer, and electricity hookups were convenient, though we used only 30 amp. Free WiFi was reliable and fast (maybe because the park was not very full at this time of year). We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry. Service was courteous and pleasant, and included a golf-cart escort by a fellow who even helped guide us into our back-in site. Price shown is net of a 40% off-peak discount. We thought it was a very good value for the amenities offered. - DaveInOhio

What a delightful and hospitable place. As American traveling in French-speaking Quebec we were treated with a fair amount of disdain in the Montreal area but not at this RV resort. Staff is bilingual and go out of their way to make sure their guests are accommodated. We needed to make a reservation at another CG further north (no English spoken on the distant CG's recording machine) and the local folks were more than pleased to make the reservation for me.
The sites are fairly level gravel, with utilities close by and convenient. Each site has a patio made of beautiful pavers, a glass-topped patio table with chairs and a lovely matching swing plus a bar-b-que. The pool was well used, the gym and hot tub looked like there wasn't much use.
There are many permanent residents who take exceptional care of their yards. A gorgeous place to live.
I agree with previous posters - worth the money. - LFClary

Very quiet park. Too quiet for us. Mostly permanent/owners residents but their sites are super clean, for most. Beside the pool and a "home style spa" there is nothing to do. I have not seen any activities going on during the weekend. Not much for the kids either. Wi-fi was excellent. No cable but many tv stations with antenna. Sites that did not belong to residents needs tender loving care. Grass was long (to seeds!). Showers were ok but not impressive for a resort, very little water pressure. Travelers sites are very very near each other. I could see the inside of our neighbours easily during his meal time. So we had to shut our blinds to keep some privacy. They ate outside and were on our site due to space nearness. Site was level on gravel, very little grass, more like weeds. Not that many trees in the travelers.
The pool area has no shade at all. So it can get pretty hot unless you find a regular chair to sit under the mini roof of the gym area. A few umbrellas would be welcomed for those who cannot tolerate sun for too long.
Each site had a swing chair, nice real patio set and nice fire place with grill.
I saw wood bundles at 9$. That is a lot in comparision to other places we go to.
Staff was very very nice, so were the residents we talked to. - Helsyl
