Price shown is in Canadian Dollars. A nice campground/resort. 20/30/50 Amp Service, water (smelled slightly of sulfur but was treated) and sewer at campsite. Swing, table with for chairs and a stone fire pit (not useful for cooking). No cable, 20 OTA TV channels. 3 bars 4G Verizon cell service, and great WiFi connection. Small swimming pool. Majority of the campers are seasonal (75%). Laundry on site. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A pleasant RV park in an agricultural area southeast of Montreal. We stayed here 5 nights in July, during which part of the time it was very hot. This is a nice park, but not outstanding. To get there, our Garmin 760 took us down Montee Monette, which is extremely narrow at the intersection with Rt 217. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and quick, and we were escorted to our site. Interior roads were paved and easy to navigate. Entry is gated, so good security, plus there are many security cameras around. There are almost 200 sites, many have been improved by the seasonal owners of the lots. You won't get one of those lots unless you are seasonal. There are about 34 sites for visitors, and only about 10 of those are pull through. We had site 202, which was on the end of a row and plenty long, but pretty narrow. When extended, our awning was only about 5 feet from our neighbor's rig. The site was paved with paver blocks, and was level. We had a glass table with chairs, a nice 3-person swing, and a built-in fireplace. 50-amp service was reliable. Sewer outlet was threaded but was a few inches too high. Water pressure was consistently below 40 psi. There is no cable TV, but internet was reliable and quite speedy. Amenities were good, with a nice pool and a small fitness area. There's no enclosed dog park, but there is an area to walk dogs where they are not peeing on a seasonal guest's landscaping. Garbage and recycling was in only one location, near the front, so quite a hike from our site. Trees partially blocked our roof-mounted satellite, so we were able to lock onto 2 of the 3 western arc Dish satellites. Verizon (Telus/Rogers) service was consistently 2 bars. It's less than 20 miles into the old part of Montreal, but traffic can be horrible getting across any of the bridges. In summary, this is a nice park, but not excellent given there's no cable TV, no enclosed dog park, low water pressure, and our site was narrow. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

This is an outstanding RV park. Well designed, clean, well appointed, utilities worked well (except that the water pressure was low and the water soft). WIFI worked well with our signal amplifier. Patios included a 3-person swing and a glass top table with 4 chairs. Verizon cell service was mostly adequate. East to navigate and quiet. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Best supermarket is Metro Plus. Good farmers market in La Prairie on 104. Visit Saint-Jean-Sur-Richilieu - neat town with good restaurants and brewery on the water's edge.

One of the best campgrounds we visited. My understanding is that some of the sites are privately own, and some of them have substantial upgrades. The site we were staying had stone paved terrace, fire pit, and patio furniture. It was a very pleasant stay. The garbage dump was rather far though. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this park for two nights while visiting Montreal which is a 35 minute drive to the down town Old Port area. Upon arriving at this part in a rural setting, we were welcomed by an extremely friendly staff. We were then escorted to our site on paved roads to a pull through site with full hook up minus the cable. This level site was gravel with a concrete pad, residential style patio set with a swing bench and one of the nicer fire pits I have seen any RV resort. There is a club house in this park, beautiful pool, clean laundry and shower facilities. The only thing that was lacking in this park was the speed for the wifi but we were informed that a new system was being installed this week to address this issue. We have already made plans to visit here in 2018 and to stay a little longer. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the nicest parks we have been to in over 12 years of full timing and even longer as part timers. Back in, gravel 50 amp fullhookup site complete with a swing, four person glass topped table and fire pit. Friendly and helpful staff who were available to answer questions and offer assistance. This is an owners park and we found everyone friendly. Our cellphones (Verizon) and Directv worked without issue. Convenient to Montereal and all the sites. We would not hesitate to recommend this park and wil return for a longer stay at some point. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Check out the elaborate patios, glassed-in porches, etc., erected by seasonals/lot owners. Sites for overnighters are landscaped, have patios with table and chairs, a grill, and rocking-chair swings. The transient parking spaces, however, are rather narrow, making awnings unusable and under cabin bins difficult to open. Still, the best-provisioned sites ever seen. Plenty of stuff for kids. A real bargain in $US. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

An adequate quiet country campground with mostly seasonal sites. A lot of trees in the seasonal area but minimal shade in the transient area.

Big rigs do NOT come in (or leave) thru St Phillipe - use 104 instead. Note big rigs returning to the US should NOT cross via I-89 due to the very tight S-curve at the entrance to the US customs booths.

Gravel access roads are mostly either single lane or slightly wider. Marginal for a big rig passing a car, mostly impossible for two big rigs passing. Minimal locations for hooking up the toad on departure. Transient sites are gravel with grass between the sites. Most had charcoal bbq, paver patio, table and swing. Minimal separation between transient sites - hard to avoid listening to neighbors even with windows closed.

Power was very marginal - 110v under no load sagging to 106v with light to moderate load. Did not use other utilities. Wifi had good signal strength, but was all over the place on speed from adequate to multi-minute page loads even during the middle of the day. TMobile (Tellus) LTE was 1 bar with sluggish speed, Verizon (Bell) LTE 1 bar, but didn't check speed.

Ok road bike riding within campground, but no adjacent road bike trails. Single steam recycling on site.

While it is a good location near the border crossing, we probably won't return. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Less than a 1/2 hour from Old Montreal, this is a very well-kept park where many sites occupied by long-term residents have been seriously upgraded with pavers, sheds, etc. -- all done very tastefully. The wide, smooth gravel driveways give easy access to grass sites with smooth, level, gravel parking pads plenty large for our 37' MH & toad. A bonus was classy appointments including a paver patio, a barbeque, patio-style table & chairs, and a swinging chaise. Water, sewer, and electricity hookups were convenient, though we used only 30 amp. Free WiFi was reliable and fast (maybe because the park was not very full at this time of year). We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry. Service was courteous and pleasant, and included a golf-cart escort by a fellow who even helped guide us into our back-in site. Price shown is net of a 40% off-peak discount. We thought it was a very good value for the amenities offered. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

A large commercial campground with very new, modern facilities. Excellent roads, campsites, utilities, a little bit out of town in the farmland, but very nice. Pretty expensive, but absolutely no problems - we even had a covered porch swing, and a wrought iron outside dining table and chairs. A large community-room building holds games areas, library, dining facilities and large wrap-around porch for rally groups, church services, family reunions, etc. A very nice place to stay while visiting Montreal. What a delightful and hospitable place. As American traveling in French-speaking Quebec we were treated with a fair amount of disdain in the Montreal area but not at this RV resort. Staff is bilingual and go out of their way to make sure their guests are accommodated. We needed to make a reservation at another CG further north (no English spoken on the distant CG's recording machine) and the local folks were more than pleased to make the reservation for me.

The sites are fairly level gravel, with utilities close by and convenient. Each site has a patio made of beautiful pavers, a glass-topped patio table with chairs and a lovely matching swing plus a bar-b-que. The pool was well used, the gym and hot tub looked like there wasn't much use.

There are many permanent residents who take exceptional care of their yards. A gorgeous place to live.

I agree with previous posters - worth the money. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Fifth Wheel.

Very quiet park. Too quiet for us. Mostly permanent/owners residents but their sites are super clean, for most. Beside the pool and a "home style spa" there is nothing to do. I have not seen any activities going on during the weekend. Not much for the kids either. Wi-fi was excellent. No cable but many tv stations with antenna. Sites that did not belong to residents needs tender loving care. Grass was long (to seeds!). Showers were ok but not impressive for a resort, very little water pressure. Travelers sites are very very near each other. I could see the inside of our neighbours easily during his meal time. So we had to shut our blinds to keep some privacy. They ate outside and were on our site due to space nearness. Site was level on gravel, very little grass, more like weeds. Not that many trees in the travelers.
The pool area has no shade at all. So it can get pretty hot unless you find a regular chair to sit under the mini roof of the gym area. A few umbrellas would be welcomed for those who cannot tolerate sun for too long.

Each site had a swing chair, nice real patio set and nice fire place with grill.

I saw wood bundles at 9$. That is a lot in comparision to other places we go to.

Staff was very very nice, so were the residents we talked to. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Park was a good choice for exploring Montreal and the surrounding area. The sites were not huge, but plenty large enough with landscaping between sites, many with shade. It was also nice to have the paver patio and nice table/chairs, glider and fire pit. Wi-Fi worked well at the site and although there wasn't cable, we were able to receive several good stations with our antenna. Very quiet. The office staff was also very helpful and nice. There were many permanent sites, but they were very nicely maintained. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Utilities are placed in the right place and work well. Sites are a little small but have a nice patio, fire pit and glider. Montreal is approx. 20 minutes away. WIFI worked well in the mid week but on the weekend it was hard to get on and if you did it dropped you. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Motorhome.

Park is just beautiful. It is mainly a park for seasonals but they do have some very nice transient spaces. Each space has a paved patio with table, chairs, swing and a fire pit. Sites are gravel, level and adequate in length. Most spaces have good room between them. Seasonal spaces are kept up very nicely as is the entire park. Buildings (except for office) and pool all look very new. Trees on property may hinder satellite reception and no cable is provided. Wi-Fi is free but not reliable and very slow most of the time. Park is out in farmland so noise is not an issue. Very peaceful yet you can see Montreal in the distance, about 20 miles away. I would have given it a 10 if the spaces were a little wider and the Wi-Fi was better. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Fifth Wheel.
