I chose this campground because I wanted to be able to make easy day trips to both Newport and Providence and this proved to be well situated for that. There are gravel driveways and grassy sites which included a picnic table. The transient sites are in a large open area with mostly pull through sites. We had a 30 amp electric, full hookup site. They offer free WiFi that worked very well for us. There is a cell tower within sight so our AT&T signal was strong, around -77 dBm. There is a pool, although we didn't make use of it. The bathroom was OK, somewhat rustic but generally clean, however, it could use more light. The owners seem to be part time and are absent for hours at a time and may take some time to even return your call. We paid $40 per night. They accept cash or check only. We camped at Hickory Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Small dogs allowed but the campground brochure clearly states "NO DOG WALKING". Full hook up 30 amp sites, level pull throughs. Many seasonals, although they are all friendly. About ten miles to shopping and restaurants. Nice pool, quiet. Brochure also states no air conditioners and no electric heaters. Some open sites, some shady sites. Good AT&T cell phone signal. Cash/checks only, no credit cards. We camped at Hickory Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
