1 Park near Narragansett, Rhode Island
Oct 2015 - $35.00
The campground is near Point Judith Rhode Island. It consists of three areas (1,2,&3). Area 1 is nearest the water, area 2 & 3 further inland. The campground is very well maintained. The best sites, parking wise are in area 1. The sites in area 2 tend to be slanted. Area 3 is tent only. It appears that all sites now have water, electric and sewer. We were in area 2, spot 20. Site not recommended since the waste stack is uphill from the site and stuff has a hard time flowing uphill even in RI.
Sites in this CG are hard to come by, some requiring a reservation a year in advance. The best sites (area 1 along the water) never seem to be available no matter when you try to book. Nonetheless a highly recommended CG. - DXRFLYER
Apr 2015 - $25.00
We stayed 2 nights, had to reserve via Reserve America that added an extra $9 fee! The campground is making improvements in 3 out of the 4 areas (more electric sites). It was cold and windy (they have a wind turbine that does make some noise, but less than traffic) and the start of the season. Regulars who come here say that this is quite a destination campground and they needed to reserve a year ahead if you want to come during the summer period. The site we had was level, ground cover, elec. and water. Not too far from beach and ocean activities. Recommend! - RonMill
Sep 2014 - $27.00
This is a campground we really enjoyed. Place is divided into four areas. We stayed in area 4 which was water electric only. Most of the sites in our area were private, above average in size, level and had beautiful native landscaping. We had good signal on our Verizon cell. All the roads in the campground that we saw were paved and the campground geography was lightly wooded and somewhat level. In addition the 3 other areas of the campground we didn’t see anything that was over the top as far as not enough space between sites or any sites being excessively unlevel. One issue that we found unacceptable were the bathrooms and showers, noticed only the toilets and sinks were cleaned while we looked at the same dirt and grime on the bathroom floors for our entire stay. Also the bathrooms/showers were in a desperate need of a complete makeover. This all said we though area 4 was the nicest part of the campground so if you can deal with out the full hookups I would recommend that area, we would return again. - mdcamping
