3 Parks near Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan
Sep 2015 - $25.00
Lakeland Vista does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but the owners were great and there was lots of space. The rv campground is walking distance to restaurants and stores which was nice. We didn't have a pet, but some people did. We appreciated that the pets were leashed.
We will be staying again this summer. - BigEric

Probably the best thing about this park is that it's close to the lake and there are a lot of trees. It was pretty busy, but when we were there it was later in the season and it sounded like during the main summer months it might be busier. Bring your bug spray! Being in the trees and close to water makes for a lot of mosquitoes! Spacing is close. Gravel pads with fire ring and picnic table. - BigEric

Note, over and above the campground fee, there is a daily vehicle fee, although 3-day, 7-day, etc. passes are available.
There is one (full service) bathhouse for the entire park,. They clean it twice a day, and they need to. Showers are only available here, and are included in the campground fee.
There are also several pit-toilet "washhouses". Some have running water, some do not.
The published site lengths appear to be conservative, as we easily fit in a "45 ft" site, even though we are 48 ft long (connected) and more like 55 ft disconnected.
All sites have power, a fire-pit and a table. Sites vary from full sun to mostly shaded.
Firewood is provided.
Given the "wetlands", even inside the campground, bugs can be a problem. Many of the frequent visitors have screen rooms or houses.
We would stay here again. - wetterwashington

Nice level sites, nicely spaced with plenty of trees for shade and privacy. Easy access to beach and boat launch.
Along with your camping fee, there is a parks fee. We paid $17.00 CN in park fees.
Only problem is bugs. The biting flies and mosquitoes were awful. They may not be as bad at a different time of the year. - Impkitti

Nice campground with big sites but all the pull-through full service sites are taken by permanent campers. The highway noise is noticeable but not too bad. - BvU

A well treed, shaded park. About 2 miles north of Rosthern on Hwy 11. Vicious speed bumps, so go slow. Water taps located throughout the park, and there is a dump site which is a little tight to maneuver for a big rig. Wood supplied if you like a campsite fire. Great golf course in this regional park. On their website the sites marked FS for full service are permanently occupied. - impavid
