Bring your bug spray. Lots of bees and mosquitos at all hours. Nice comfortable RV park. Nearby train blows its horn pretty good around 12:21 a.m. Much of the park is permanently occupied. Lots of trees make satellite reception iffy. No cable.
We had a beautiful, long, level end site with a patio side grassy area large enough to hold a concert. The roads and sites are hard pack dirt and recent rain had messed them up a bit but they were good with filling in with gravel and rock. We lost power twice. Really low voltage readings. Not sure if RV park doesn't have enough capacity during peak times. Water pressure was good, not great. We were able to get good satellite reception at our site. Park is nicely maintained, the office area is very nice with lots of flowers and the pool is very inviting. Restrooms are dated but we're fine and clean. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Motorhome.

This was our first trip to Saskatchewan ever. We fell in love with this park. It rained during our 2 day stay which the locals say never happens. Rain does not bother us. The owners were very helpful about the town and things to see. The pool is gorgeous, very clean and well monitored. Very nice lounge chairs! I loved the feel of the park and the closeness to the town. We had a beautiful end site and there were flowers in pots everywhere. Our experience was so good we are planning a future vacation with Indian Head as our destination. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice park that is well maintained. There's a pool area plus a park for the kids. Sites were a decent size though a little close together. Gravel pads were level and easy to back into. Staff was very nice. This is the best campground we've found for hundreds of kilometres either way on the Trans Canada Highway. We will continue to stay here on our annual trek out West. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is Good Sam. Nice park but access road washboard and very dusty. It rained overnight and the dusty access road was very muddy. Stayed in long pull thrus which were really nice but very soft when it rains. Staff were exceptional but price seems a touch high for the location. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very helpful check-in. We were brought to our site and the hostess stayed to make sure our satellite dish worked in the spot and was willing to show us to another spot if it didn't. We were near a large field that our dog enjoyed running and playing in. It was an easy walk to the town (though most stores seemed to be closed on Mondays). The sites are very long and could have easily accommodated 2 motorhomes! Would be a lovely place to stay for a longer period - we were only there overnight. We enjoyed our stay here. Nice shady sites, good pool with free equipment provided, helpful owners. There is train noise but not frequent at night. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. Well treed and shady. Owners live on site and are very friendly. There is a convenience store in the park that carries essentials. A nice town to shop in with great history. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

In 2012 this park is no longer KOA and is now called Indian Head Campground under the Good Sam label. The overall appearance is very good, the size and quality of the landscaping between sites is excellent. The free Wi-Fi is great, the washrooms are clean and well kept but should be upgraded to match the overall quality of the park. The trains are noisy, but don't run very often this year. We will try to stay here each trip along the TransCanada highway. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Motorhome.

Nice campground a little bit outside Indian Head. Most of the sites are pull-through and in between trees. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are in good working order and clean. Free WIFI is available on the sites. Overall a very nice campground - except for the railway line nearby with constant and very annoying traffic 24 hours a day! Would have given a higher rating otherwise! We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Campsites are grass and are soggy when it rains. Also there is an active railroad track at the back of the campground. I was awakened several times by train horns. It is also located close to the main highway and gets noise from that also. I know it must be hard to find the perfect location for a campground, but this isn't it! We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Tent Trailer.
